After I’d explained my troubles with the car and stated this was my next step he was very helpful in suggesting other possible avenues and also clarified some other vehicle reading for me. Jun 27,2024My car's DPF warning light came on and the following morning I called DPF Fixer and they managed to get a technician out to my place of work and completed the job at site. This saved me having to take time off work and the technician was very professional and I would recommend anyone who has a diesel car to get your filter cleaned and use DPF Fixer as my experience was excellent 👍

Jun 27,2024I was away over 200 miles from home on holiday in North Devon when my red warning light came up in my Jaguar F-Pace 3.0D indicating the DPF was full and couldn’t regenerate. I called DPFFixer at 3pm explaining I was due home the following day and the vehicle was in limp mode. The person explained they were fully booked until after the weekend but would check to see if a call could be made. He called back shortly to say that a technician could be with me as a first call on the next day (Friday) between 8-10, and took the deposit. Your friendly technician Dave arrived from Bristol (over 110 miles away) by just after 10am (calling to let me know where he was) and explained the process. He identified the turbo inlet butterfly valve as a potential problem and showed me where to clean it He then cleaned the DPF and did a service light reset, followed by a short drive to clear the detergent cleaner from the exhaust system. In all it took about 1.5 hours and I was very impressed with the efficiency of both the booking of the appointment via your call centre and the onsite service! I would certainly recommend without hesitation to others in a similar position

Jun 21,2024From my first contact online I received a call the same day, from there I asked for an email quote, which was done almost immediately, very efficient. After looking around I decidedto go with DPF Fixers, so rang them, and fixed an appointment for the next day. James arrive first thing, and after asking me what was happening he proceeded to do all the diagnostics etc and check things out manually (Not just by plugging in a computer). After doing this he told me my system was clean so it did not need the cleaning process they offer, it would only be paying for something unnecessarily, which I thought was very honest as it would have been quite easy to do the process anyway and charge me. Therefore at the end of the day I only paid for the diagnostic. Unfortunately, James could not pin point why I was get the problems, but he did suggest a couple of areas that it might be. I would have no reservations in recommending "DPF Fixer" & if all their engineers are as friendly and efficient as James I could recommend them too. Just on the down side although my Insignia performed well the next day when I went on a 100mile round trip, the next morning on start up I gat a "Requires Service Soon" and there was no power, I stopped the car at the end of the road, restarted and it was ok, So still scratching my head.

Jun 21,2024Great service, would certainly recommend. Appointment booked over the phone, and Garath, the engineer arrived ahead of schedule, after giving me a call to say he was on his was. Cleared the DPF, which took about 45 minutes, and during this time Garath explained why the DPF gets clogged and gave me advice how to avoid in the future.

Jun 20,2024Phoned DPF Fixers at 10 am for a DPF clean after my Transit Van went into Limp Mode by dinner time they had sent Attila to come and clean it out. Attila ran a full diagnostic checking soot accumulation, fault codes engine temp air flow sensor readings and explained everything in detail to me which I feel he is very experienced in what he was doing Attila was here for a couple of hours and was very efficient and very polite and I would definitely recommended this company to any company that needs this service
