I was disappointed to see the one star reviews that have been left for Easipetcare Dartford as I have been using them now for over six years and (apart from the occasional grumpy locum) I have always received friendly, courteous, professional and importantly - being a pensioner - cost effective service. They have always treated my dog (and me!) with care and consideration and both regular and one off visits have always been a pleasure. I have used several different veterinary surgeries locally over the past 40 years and Easipetcare Dartford have IMHO been the best by far.

Easipetcare Dartford Branch Went to vets regarding my dogs teeth vet did not seem particularly interested examined my dog told me she had dislocated hip not true. Told me needed to have blood test very expensive but was not told why. Gave me antibiotics and anti inflammatory medication did not know what for. Then advise me to speak to receptionist regarding booking dog in for scale and polish. The receptionist advised me half price for scale and polish so I booked the dog in. But no costs explained to me then on the day before she was due to go in for treatment received an invoice for £1200.00. Absolutely outrageous just to have scale and polish. I called the vets not very happy and the receptionist advised me the vet would call me back. I have sent 2 complaint emails (No response from vet No call back) seems this practice is only interested in money

The different branches done work together in a string of puppy vaccinations, which one is not told on the telephone when booking the appointment/ changes within the string of first vaccinations. Each branch has different time scales as to when each vaccination is to be administered, which is worrying. Streatham branch awful and rude on the phone. Dartford brach all staff really sweet and friendly.

Very unsympathetic, just had to put my cat to sleep after owning 11 years, couldn't get me out of their practice any sooner, did not want to ingage into a conversation ,only customer in there, took my cat ,go and pay your £265 at the reception, my empty cat basket reached the reception before me, horrible horrible place after earning £600 out of me in the last week.

We have been using this Vets for 12 years now. I have never had a problem with my appointments. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and approachable. We saw Antonio today, he is Fantastic!!! His knowledge is vast, he is thorough and easy to talk to. Nothing is too much to ask. We had two appointments for both our dogs for their routine annual vaccinations. I requested a chip check and nail trim and he did both with no problem and great ease. This vets also encourages people to self purchases items online as it's more cost effective for you. This is something that I really like about them. There is always a treat in the bowl to give to your dog afterwards which makes it feel like the right place to be.

I have seen a a lot of different vets this year, Max,Diego,Bryan and a lot of the Nurses. My Cat has had an overactive thyroid and has cost to date @£700 but I am insured and on the 365 Pet Plan. I would not have a pet if I wasn't able to afford to look after him, but my Cat Mr Grey is pushing it a bit now! I find the Receptionists, Nurses & Vets are efficient, friendly, caring, obvious animal lovers and very approachable everyone always answer any questions I have ( and I usually have lots!). When I first took my cat to see them this year I thought he was going to die and was openly upset and everyone was lovely to me as tears rolled down my face. I have been at this practice since they opened in Kettering and would not change practices ( even if others may be cheaper). I had another cat as well a few years back Ms Bella May Grey and she died unexpectedly and I rang them crying and took her down to the Vets and they came to the car to fetch her as I was so upset. They were so compassionate and kind. Being kind is so important. I think loyalty may be considered by some as old fashioned these days and also affordability and loyalty are crushing opponents in these trying times. Whilst these lovely people are treating my pets with such kindness they have my loyalty. Thank you.

Used to be a good vets and low cost , but not now , prices are too expensive, including consultation fee and any medication, we’ve moved to another vet ,, why when you’ve had a consultation of £61 and they’ve diagnosed the problem, you shouldn’t have to pay same fee for a follow up appointment, just to check your pet is doing ok , but no it’s £61 every time you go back for the vet to look at your pet for 2 mins ,,, too expensive we’ve gone elsewhere , we don’t pay another consultation fee , every time , anymore, only pay for meds if needed ,,,, shame but there just too expensive now

They were really good at first but sadly this year felt let down by this practice.. Rang to get my dog in as really unwell, sorry nothing till next Tuesday explained he was ill but apparently no vets at practice to see him . Rang another vet and was told with those symptoms he needs to be seen ,1/2 hour later at vets they told us he had kidney problems and a swollen heart ❤️ sadly 💔lost him the following day. Good job I didn't leave him till the next Tuesday....👎

My dog was terrified (generally is in vets) yet managed this recent visit after initially getting very anxious. Clinician expertly managed visit and offered comforting and expert care and advice. Staff are excellent. Basic good ‘down to earth’ care at reasonable prices. Have been several times now and this high level of animal care is consistent.

Easipetcare Streatham. Terrible attitude, didn’t wven eant to examine my dog, she was lethargic and not eating, the vet Andrew was more interested in telling us off, asking us if we had insurance and touring for his own company. He said our dog had bad teeth, felt her stomach and said she was not in pain, less than 48 hours later my much loved 7 year old dog was dead, he also told us she was getting old, really. Jasmine the next day told us our dog was severely dehydrated and in pain, and not to give her the medication Andrew had prescribed, he had given hef a metacam injection and also an anti sickness jab, dogs should not receive metacam if they are dehydrated or have sickness, Jasmine advised us to do a bloody test, she pulled at Poppys skin and looked at her gums and said she was severely dehydrated even though I was giving her water constantly, the blood tests showed my dog had kidney failure, dogs with kidney problems should not take metcam, shame on you Andre and shame on easipetcare, my dog is now dead. I would never use this vets again, it’s a disgrace and they should be shut down, negligence, my poor dog.

I discourage to everyone to spay her pet at this clinic, it gives 0% of guarantee if anything goes wrong because they have to close at 7.00 pm according to their procedure. At the end of July, I left my dog in the early morning to spay her, and of course they charged me the price before I left the clinic, (£370 for a small dog). When I pick up here the surgery was fine (around 6pm). Before arriving at home, the stiches came up and my poor dog started to bleed badly, when I called them and explain the issue (around 6.30pm) the answer of the clinic was exactly that, they close at 7.00, go to a 24h vet, end of the story. Obviously, I went to a 24h clinic, she had to spend the night there so the emergency vet could check her properly. Fortunately, she checked very well and did the stiches again. The bill was £730. I was even more shocked not receiving a single call, email or SMS from easipet to see how my dog was, despite they knew that something wrong happened. The formal answer for their part when we raised the problem was that they acted according to their procedure, so if you are a customer, be aware about their procedure before it is too late. It cost me more than one thousand pounds and a terrible day. I tell everyone that I know to avoid this vet for the above reason, 0% guarantee and 0% interest on your pet.

Mature pet cat booked in (specifically) for a blood test for over-all health check. During consultation vet lifted cat basket up and tilted it at approx 60 degree angle, to force the cat out. I intervened and said you can lift hook ups from the sides and back to remove the top half of the pet carrier off. He aggressively refused and insisted to FORCE cat out! To then continue, to what I can only describe as roughly man handle the cat. I have never experienced a vet behave in such a manner towards our cat or any animal - simply inappropriate and aggressive manner. He then took the cat in the back for a blood test and asked us to wait in the waiting area, coming back five minutes later to say the cats far too aggressive, we will need to rebook and put her under sedation. Firstly, if you handle an animal aggressively forcing them out of the basket and then continue to man handle them, DO NOT expect the animal to be clam!! Secondly, the Veterinary practice was empty, I did no hear the cat scream or make a sound, as you would, and we would have heard the cat 'behave aggressively' we know our cat and know her behaviour. Thirdly, we paid the consultation fee (under dispute) and refused to pay £45 for drops to eyes and strongly feel the practice has misled us and acted inappropriately. Be TRANsPARENT & EXPLAIN to your customer and train your staff Finally! Easipetcare - Derby 'be TRANSPARENT & train your Vets to treat animals with respect, care and love. Furthermore, inform your customers beforehand of further expected charges. We were expecting the cat to have a blood test, followed by a consultation for results. Not charged for a consultation before hand and then expected to pay. When your Vet is negligent.' Vets and Veterinary practices should not be allowed to treat animals in such a manner and mislead customers. I will therefore be reporting this to Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and other regulatory bodies.

As per breed my blind/deaf Border Collie had terrible teeth, they took amazing care of her and kept me informed throughout, they really couldn't have done any better, so this ones a very well earned 5 out of 5 from me. Prices have gone up everywhere, yes it is expensive, but worth every penny, without hesitation I would be happy to recommend this vet

Save your money and do not go to Easipetcare in Dartford! Although the receptionists were lovely and friendly, the vets lacked professionalism and did not handle our case well. Our cat hadn't eaten for five days after a severe episode of vomiting. They did an X-ray and suggested either continuing with liquids to help his stomach or going straight to surgery as they “suspected” something in his stomach, which could be gas, a foreign object (which needs to be removed), or simply faeces but no concrete answer. When we asked if they had done blood tests, they said no. We inquired if an ultrasound was a possibility before surgery and then they confirmed they could do one. Why didn't the doctors present us with different options before suggesting surgery? Eventually, they did the blood tests and informed us that some results were concerning. They advised monitoring him overnight at home as they don’t offer overnight stay so we had to collect him in the evening in poor condition, monitor him overnight ourselves and bring him back in the morning when they open to continue the case, most likely going straight to surgery. The bill came up to £1,500 by then and we still didn’t have an answer for what could be the issue, it was all maybe(s) and perhaps. After another sleepless night and our cat’s declining health, we called the vet at 8 am to schedule the surgery, thinking it was our only option. Easipetcare said there were no slots available for surgeries and referred us to a pet hospital instead. At the pet hospital, the doctor examined him and determined that surgery was not necessary at this point as they suspected an infection and inflammation based on his blood test results and high temperature which was naturally affecting other organs, including the stomach. They recommended doing a localized ultrasound first and keeping him overnight for monitoring, drips, and antibiotics. The ultrasound determined pancreatitis and our cat was treated accordingly. A few hours later, he was already better—eating, drinking, and using the bathroom. Thinking we were about to go into surgery with Easipetcare and being charged a hefty sum for it to be in vain makes my blood boil. We will now be registering our cats in a different practice and we hope our story serves a purpose and doesn’t happen again to pet parents

Would not recommend at all spend over £4000 for a operation on my dog (which I don't care about the money I wanted him better) they didn't bother to phone me when he was ready to be collected they did the worse job, my chocolate Labrador came out and was only half stitched they said this was ok. He then ended up with an infection. They then put one staple in to secure the massive opening wound. We were not even aloud to say bye to our pet either as he was dragged away! We also now know from all the documentation I have requested that the man who did my dogs operation has now opened his own vets in Corby. The whole thing was just a nightmare. They also messed us around for medication and saying my dog was not on the system after spending so much money they can't find him! My pets cancer then returned and we were told by the specialist that the person who did this operation has not done it correctly and didn't do a big enough section! The sample from the man who did this operation was taken and we got the all clear but due to them doing this incorrectly as he took them from a area to shall to confirm this. 9 months later at the age of 8 we sadly had to have are dog put to sleep due to his wound weeping to the point we had to change his bandage 3 time a day! We changed to a different vet not in the area who were so much better! AVOID!!!

Had to take my dog to Easipets in Chatham Kent today. Even though there were two emergencies and only one Vet on duty, the Receptionist Charlie kept us all informed with apologies for delay. Excellent customer service skills. All staff were friendly and efficient too.
