Feb 22,2023We had solar fitted and from the start were clear we wanted to use the Scottish Home Energy Loan to fund the installation. This unfortunately hasn't been possible because of eco-energy. Whilst I will accept it's possible they "missed" the multiple emails I had sent over a number of weeks the directors private response means I will not be changing the score.

Dec 23,2022Our Solar Panel Installation is up and running and now saving us a decent amount of money on our electric bills. We opted to have a battery installed and the stored electricity runs our appliances in the evening. The communication has been great and all emails have been answered in a timely fashion. The staff, Sales, Admin, Roofers, Electricians and Managers have all been great. They have been polite, courteous and professional throughout the whole process. As for the post installation support; Eric (Roofing Manager) and Thomas (Installation Manager) have been really supportive. They have dealt with all our queries by Email and telephone in a timely fashion. We were really impressed when an electrician attended immediately to sort out an issue with the wi fi router and re-tested the system to ensure it was operating efficiently.

Dec 07,2022Jason started this journey providing excellent and honest advice. We had done our own homework and calcs and what he told us matched. He also provided information on how to apply for the HES grant. The install date was confirmed early and the team were onsite that day. The panel team were great. Friendly and professional. The same went for the electrician. Good lads. At the end of the job I was shown the equipment and taken through the nifty app. They left the house clean and tidy. Seriously cannot fault them. Oct 22,2022just to make sure i have reviewed eco-energy.co.uk / matthew henney PYD*Eco Home Scotland came up from my bank when i done a credit card chargeback which was replied by matthew henney below is my experience with eco-energy.co.uk STUNG FOR £299 AVOID LEGAL ACTION TO FOLLOW , BE WARNED I have signed a PV Solar System installation contract on the 29.08.22 with Robert Park from PYD*Eco Home Scotland , only on the basis that I will finance project through a interest free loan from the Scottish Government( Home Energy Scotland ) I advised that I am still waiting for a call-back to get the loan offer from the Scottish Government he ensured me that this will be done very quick and if I change my mind or the loan application takes longer than expected I can cancel within 14 days for a full refund of fees including the £299 admin fee The Salesperson Robert Park gave me incorrect ( inflated ) information on the warranty of the product AND contract terms I have also asked if PYD*Eco Home Scotland is HIES registered ( consumer protection scheme ) but they have send a Certificate which expired several Month ago, in June 2022 ago an online check showed they were not on the Hies Register at the time I checked which alarmed me From: Robert Park Sent: 05 September 2022 16:39 Subject: Solar "Hi Wolfgang I hope you are well. The battery has a 6000 cycle guarantee which is about 16 years as a cycle is one day apparently. I apologise if I said 20 as it was my first week I may have been confused. Yes it will be HIES registered as we are a member." This above is a breach of HIES code A1.2 and A3 , I was also not made aware of HIES code E6.1 and E6.2 at this time and was only provided a out of date certificate on request on Monday Morning the 06.09.22 I have spoken to Home Energy Scotland and have been advised that this process can take up several Month and if I start any work before I have the loan offer my application will be INVALID ,…….. this is not what I have been told by PYD*Eco Home Scotland On the 06.09.22 I have called Mr.Park from PYD*Eco Home Scotland as a courtesy to tell him I will email a cancelation notice via email, he called me back 3 times that afternoon /evening and wanted talk me into to change my mind Furthermore I discovered later on the eve of 06.09. some really concerning feedback on Trustpilot (which seems to trade also under Eco Energy Ltd ) about this company about breaches of code and practises and bad work /behaviour which made it clear to me that I don’t want to get involved with PYD*Eco Home Scotland ON 07.09.2I have send a written cancelation to PYD*Eco Home Scotland shortly after my email I received a call from a Paul Coleman me with a variety of breeches of HIES Code B1.2 B4e E1.1n He asked me to send PYD*Eco Home Scotland another email to say I changed my mind and want to “postpone” my contract a while – WHICH I DO NOT WISH TO Than he told me “ I may not talk about this and not to tell anybody but PYD*Eco Home Scotland has a member of staff who used to work for the Scottish Government( Home Energy Scotland ) who can help me to get my loan offer “sorted” Than I was told if I cancel with PYD*Eco Home Scotland I will loose the loan and wont be offered the loan from the Government at all He was very pushy in his call to me When I insisted on a confirmation of my cancelation, he just hung up the phone on me ……wordless I have now received a email from their office acknowledging my cancelation but saying to me that a refund will take up to 30 WORKING DAYS , which is again a breech of HIES code section F4 F4 The balance of any deposits or refunds due to the consumer will be provided within 14 days and any linked agreements, such as credit agreements, will be cancelled provided suitable means to meet any fees I HAVE BEEN LIED TO AND URGE ANYBODY CONSIDERING THIS COMPANY TO THINK AGAIN

Oct 06,2022A year ago, Eco Energy installed solar panels on my property. It was a pleasure to collaborate with this organization. Everyone involved in the process was courteous and professional. Their job was fantastic and completed on time from start to finish. And the panels have been a huge help. Monthly bills are significantly lower. I should mention that I researched several companies before choosing on Eco Energy. This was the best decision I could have made. Thank you for the important work that you do. I cannot recommend you highly enough.

Sep 21,2022We were very pleased with the sales and the installation team. These guys were very nice, friendly and professional. The big problem came once we discovered a bit of damage had been done to the Velux windows we gave on our roof. We know accidents can happen and are not looking to put blame, rather we just want it repaired as when it rains there is water coming in through them. These windows have been in for nearly 3 years and have only leaked since the panels were put in. We had heard a clatter but thought nothing of it till the rain started coming in. We have phoned on many occasions but no one calls back. We have also emailed and sent photos of the damage but no one responds. The only answer that I got from Eric was that he was going to frame my photos and hang the on his wall!! Not very professional in my eyes!! Update on our experience. Despite many phone calls, most of which were unreturned, we are still waiting for the damage to our Velux window to be fixed. In the meantime a basin under the window to catch the rain coming in is a permanent feature in our bathroom. On the 15 th November a team arrived to perform the repair as they had been rained off another job. As we had not been informed of this visit we were not at home, therefore the job could not be carried out. After a phone call to eco energy we were told that if there was a team in the area and they became available they would call us and come to do the repair. On Thursday 24th November we had a call to say someone would be with us at 1 pm. As we’re not staying at home we made the 10 mile journey to be there. At 2.30 there was another call to say they wouldn’t manage but would definitely be there 9am on Friday. In the meantime we had arranged for a neighbour to move his camper van and car from his drive to allow access to the window. On Friday another 10 mile journey to be home for 9am. At 10.30 we phoned to check if the team were coming to be told he was away on another job in the opposite direction. Call to eco energy was told the case was going to passed on to managing director who would call us back. Alas no phone call. What constitutes a job worth visiting? What constitutes a phone call worth returning? I’ve no doubt I will hear from someone tomorrow!!

Feb 24,2023Eco Energy were chosen to install Solar Panels & storage battery system, comprising 4.1kw Solar, Hybrid Inverter, and 6.5kw Growatt Battery. 2 days were allocated for the installation. Teams arrived promptly to install panels on roof. All done and dusted in 3 hours, when handed over to electrician for internal installation work. Installation completed and handed over by 4pm. Work carried out satisfactorily and without fuss. Would highly recommend Eco Energy to prospective customers.
