Nov 15,2023Everything from the quote from the very knowledgeable salesman through to installation and back up has been excellent throughout. We had 18 panels, back up battery and inverter installed in September 2022. Delighted to say we produced over 5000kWh in first full year.

Nov 15,2023The company installed 12 solar panels (total 5kw) and a 5kw battery in April 2022. The installations were performed effectively and most importantly have generated the electricity expectations provided in the initial survey. I have an electric car and the generation of electricity combined with the battery storage have reduced my driving costs significantly.

Nov 14,2023I had 10 solar panels installed on my south facing roof by eco-energy. All the work was done on time and to budget. It was also done with no mess. Their engineers got the whole installation done in one day. I didn't review earlier as I wanted to see how the panels performed long term. In short they've helped to keep my bills down, especially in the Summer where there were times in the muddle of the day when my usage dropped to zero. I'm considering expanded to another 4 panels and a battery for storage.

There was a slight delay with the electrician but I was kept fully informed at all times. The Solar PV & Battery system that was installed has functioned flawlessly and the app allows me to monitor system remotely. I have and will continue to recommend Eco Energy for solar PV installs. Nov 03,2023Can't recommend eco energy more highly. Everything was great. Sales, installation and after sales. I loved that it's easy to get hold of a human. There was a slight problem, but it was fixed really quickly. How a company details with after care is so important. I have hardly spent any money on electricity since installation and in fact over the summer I have got money from selling my surplus to the grid. Fantastic service.

Oct 24,2023I had the unfortunate experience of working with ECO Energy for the installation of solar panels on my property, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. I am very dissatisfied and frustrate with their services. First of all, wrong Panels Installed: The first and most glaring issue was the installation of the wrong solar panels. I had specifically chosen and paid in advance a particular model and brand that suited my needs, but ECO Energy installed a completely different set of panels without consulting me or seeking my approval. I had to find out by climbing my roof and checking the panel brand. Then, lack of Communication: When I realized that the wrong panels had been installed, I attempted to reach out to ECO Energy for clarification and resolution. To my shock, their aftersales service was practically non-existent. They told me not to pay part of the installation (like ÂŁ200) and that they would receive new stock soon and come back to install the panels I asked for. That never happened and I felt completely abandoned as a customer. It is unacceptable for a company to refuse communication with a paying customer, especially when there are problems that need addressing. I am still waiting for an answer. Unprofessionalism: The lack of professionalism demonstrated by ECO Energy's staff during this ordeal was astounding. I expected a level of courtesy and respect, but instead, I encountered indifference and a complete disregard for my concerns. It is clear that they prioritize making sales over anything. My experience with ECO Energy has been a complete disaster. I strongly discourage anyone from considering their services due to the lack of communication and customer care, and the disregard for their customers' needs. I am left with a solar panel system that is far from what I paid for, and a company that has left me feeling cheated and abandoned. I hope this review serves as a warning to others and prompts ECO Energy to improve their services and customer relations.

Oct 21,2023Great salesman who provided solid advice without a hard sell. Roof installation of solar panels great with effective bird protection. Our chosen battery wasn't available so we were provided a 6.5kwh Growatt instead - more capacity but slightly shaky software, bit a reasonable compromise. We're really happy with the system and how it fits into the home and has brought our electricity bills right down plus pays us for generation over the summer. A point off because our electrician wasn't happy with the safety of the cabling in the meter cupboard which the firm didn't seem particularly interested in investigating or rectifying, and their workaround to fund the HES loan was rejected so we had to pay up front, but this was largely due to us needing to install quickly to fit in with other building work. Worth noting that we needed to chase a bit to get all the details needed to set up our feed in tariff, but this was held up by a third party not Eco Energy so no complaints there.

Oct 19,2023Buying solar panels was an expensive purchase and until I started to see the benefits it was a scary buy. But it was worth it - our electricity bills were horrendous, but when the sun shines there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing it generate energy and not having to pay for it. We’ve managed to bank a lot of our monthly energy bill over the longer days to cover the dark winter nights as obviously the panels aren’t as effective during the winter. The service was good - they were tidy, replaced some cracked tiles (inevitable with our roof) and made a great job bird proofing. It was also good to know that ECO are covered with all the protection you’d expect - which was essential when we were getting a government backed loan.

Oct 08,2023Initial visit from Jason from sales was very informative, knew his product and was very relaxed . Never “pushy” in the slightest. Arranged a survey prior to installation which was carried out and any queries we had were explained well. On installation day the roofers were in and out in 2 hours and the electricians took 3 hours but had inverter and battery to fit and run cables. A superb,clean, tidy and very professional job completed without a hitch. Great friendly staff who helped my wife set up the app on her phone. All company employees and no sub-contractors made it a much more personal service. Eco Energy were recommended to us and we in turn have recommended them ourselves.

Oct 06,2023I've started my journey with solar panels in November 2020. I'm only giving 4 stars as the guy that explained and sign us up mislead us regarding battery. However he doesn't work at the company anymore. Installation was done in April and it was plain sailing. The team was very kind and proffesional, the girls at the office are always very helpful. If it wasn't for the initial salesman it would be 5 stars!

Nov 16,2023Very happy with the solar panels. Tradesmen did a good job and came promptly. We were a bit disappointed that there was no follow up afterwards. This was promised by the sales person and it would have been helpful to have someone show us how to use the app (as we're older and not great with technology). Still not sure how this works however someone is going to call regarding this. I think advice should also be given about getting the panels bird proofed as we had problems with pigeons. (Have since had this done)
