These fraudsters are still sending me promotional email. Stay away from them, they don’t pay escrow money.

Here's Luigi from DomainEmpire (no need to hide my identity) and this's a 100% genuine and verifiable review unfortunately. I admit we worked quite well with Rob Monster (Masterbucks/Epik CEO till last Sep 2022) for the latest years. We had 4 diff. accounts at Masterbucks where we were collecting funds generated from multiple domain sales closed through the Epik.com escrow service. All funds were deposited to our Masterbucks balances. No problem with withdrawals until few months ago but Rob offered us a 6% yearly interest over our deposits (paid in the measure of 0.50% at the beginning of each month) so we've a total balance of roughly $1.5M (yes, you're reading correctly and we've screenshots to proof this). Most of our funds have been converted in Bitcoins some months back but at the end of Ocober they've fraudolently (and with no previous notice) reconverted anything to USD and moved the balance of 3 of these accounts to the correspoding Epik accounts. Masterbucks.com has been 'under maintenance' for few weeks so they gained time to move elsewhere all their customer funds (I guess anything may have been converted to crypto but we'll soon start a legal investigation to make light over the real facts). Once back online, we see no real improvement made exception for a 2.5% withdrawal fee + an additional fee applied to any requested wire. Note this was just a strategy to discourage most of their customers to withdraw funds but it didn't work considering anyone tried to recover their own cash so they've just surprised us all by just ignoring such refund requests :) It's all important to note withdrawals were previously free (considering they were already earning through their escrow service fee) so they added it with no previous announcement. Before this event, we tried to withdraw $50k with no luck considering the request was cancelled few days later and all funds moved to Epik. After that we got an email inviting us to reinvest our funds in Epik services/domain purchases with no option to withdraw them. We've emailed Rob multiple times trying to reach an amicable compromise before making the whole story public, this's honestly the first time we post a negative review about someone and it's something we don't really like to do ... Lots of promises but nothing happened. Brian Royce (the new CEO) agreed to schedule a call with our paralegal for last Friday 11/18 after that his assistant called to reschedule to Monday 11/21 but nobody called and he disappeared by ignoring the further reminder we send him by email. Rob Monster (previous CEO) is now chairman at Epik and here's something fun. If you email him now, you getting an autoresponse inviting to contact Brian for any Epik related issue but ... now you know the whole story :) We've enough resources and motivations to sue this company and to make the whole story public being in the position to proof that Rob Monster deceived and frauded us despite the fact we trusted his company more than our own bank ! We've warned all our customers/partners and contacts to stay away from Masterbucks/Epik now becomed high risk companies near to bankruptcy. In view of all recent facts, Epik will soon loose the Icann accreditation and all domains will be assigned to another registrar. We're ready to edit our review if someone from Epik will call our paralegal to clarify this matter and to refund our balance under all 4 accounts with no real intention to damage their reputation if an agreement should be reached.

They are scammers. Do not to buy domains there because you will lose your time, your money, your domains! They didn't transfer the domain. They only promise: tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. They took my money and won't refund it. They say every new day: "1-2 more days are needed, your question is already under consideration, our accounting team has already been warned". Don't trust them.

EPIK has an escrow service for domain name sales. All payments go via their own Masterbucks service. I warn everyone: DO NOT USE IT! 31 days a go i requested a withdrawal of my funds and Masterbucks still hasn't paid anything. They have my ID and IBAN, and confirmed this is OK for a payout. By now I read a lot of complaints online about this company and am afraid i will not receive my money.... Be very careful wit this company. 2 dec 2022 in reply to EPIK's response below: Masterbucks is your service. Don't BS your customers!

Epik full data breach occurred in 2021, due to hosting a range of malicious websites and forums, including supporting discrimination hate, fascist, white supremacist, terrorism, nazis and mass shooting content. 180GB dump of over 15,003,961 accounts. They then attempt to brush it off and lie to their customers about it.

A domain name that I wanted to move to Epik got stuck with the previous registrar. The support request I submitted (on a Sunday) got a prompt and professional answer, explaining what happened. There was a follow-up on the following day, informing me that the problem had been solved. Friendly and efficient service.

The worst customers service in the world. They are protecting internet frauds, spammers. I have been harassed (copyright violation and more) by some domains and reported it to them. You know what they said? They said I'm the fraud!

I recently migrated my blog from Google to Epik for free speech reasons and the transition couldn't have gone any better. Jaime Jacob at Epik was incredibly easy to work with and very responsive , I couldn't be happier with the entire process.

Stay Away from this Company. They are fraudulent. I sold a site to a buyer recently and used Epik escrow. Initially, I didn't know the company was having issues paying users who have money with them. When I discovered it, it wasn't too late as I immediately asked the escrow manager over at Epik (this is Tony) to cancel the transaction. I also asked the buyer of my site to do the same. Their escrow cancellation policy states "Both parties have the right to cancel the transaction without penalties until the escrow is concluded. If the Buyer has already submitted payment, Epik will reimburse." This guy (Tony) blatantly refused and disbursed my funds to masterbucks. Now, they are telling me Masterbucks has a problem and everyone will be paid in turn. This shows that Tony (Epik's escrow manager) had fraudulent intent when he refused to cancel the escrow transaction. At this time, they have tied $8k of my money, which is part of my business capital.

I purchased the domain PianoMoving.com on 7/20/2022 via NameLiquidate.com, an Epik.com owned service, for almost $1,000. It was transferred into my Epik.com account shortly after payment. This was the only domain in my account. An email from Epik confirmed the domain was moved into my account and my WHOIS information was applied. I had full control and updated the nameservers. When I checked my Epik.com account on 8/31/22 I noticed the domain was no longer in my account. Then after contacting Rob Monster (Epik CEO then, Chairman now) I opened a thread on NamePros to discuss this issue. Over the course of that thread a lot of new information was learned. It appears the domain was removed from my account and transferred to another party on, or around, 8/19/2022. It was removed without authorization, notification, or explanation. A Paypal refund was only processed after I randomly noticed the domain missing from my account. Was Epik ever going to notify me otherwise? When I finally received a response from Rob Monster, it was not straightforward. He said - The domain was involved in "an escrow transaction with a payment plan with zero commission. It was a bit of an exotic deal." He went on to say - "To make a long story short, the domain expired during the payment plan and was routed through our liquidation marketplace." The rest of his response was just full of self-promotion. Another response from Rob Monster accused me of making "defamatory" statements. He said - "The timing of Brad's public post plus general brigading of negative energy, was unnaturally coincident with our marketing event at NamesCon. While I acknowledge Epik's error, Brad's approach was believed as not in good faith and was arguably defamatory and weaponized." I asked Rob to point out what I said which was factually incorrect. Everything I said was accurate, to the best of my knowledge. Rob never responded to that request. Epik and Rob Monster are supposed free speech champions. I think they need a lesson on how free speech works. It is not "defamatory" to report what happened. Judging by other reviews, and comments on forums, it doesn't seem like I was the first person accused of this. The bottom line is whatever happened in this situation was related to the incompetence of Epik. If there was an error, Epik should have notified me and explained the situation. Instead, they removed the domain from my account without authorization, notification, or explanation. It was only when I caught the domain missing much later, that they provided a refund. I would never do business with Epik again. Brad

I wasn't going to leave a review, but at this point Epik has wasted to much of my time and patience. They have promised us getting our funds time and time again, but it's been a month now. No payment. New CEO admitted they have mixed escrow funds with general funds. No one even knows if they have the money to pay people

It’s been over 4 weeks i still haven’t escrow money of the site i sold via epik escrow. Epik hasn’t issued any public statement about why Masterbucks was down for 2 weeks. Some of the people i met on Namepros told me they are owed over 200k, 56k and more. The situation is getting worse every day. If you want to know more about it, there’s a popular thread on Namepros. If you are looking forward to do business with them, you would regret your decision.

Rob A. was great. I asked him to fix something in my portfolio and he did it within 3 minutes. They do have great customer service. I have yet to use Masterbucks, but my opinion is that Masterbucks seems to be under some sort of audit (maintenance they say) and that is causing delays. My theory is maybe there's an investigation being done on certain domain sellers who are using domain sales to launder money? Just saying ; ( . Purely my conspiratorial guess. But that wouldn't be Epik's/Masterbuck's fault, would it? Biggest con so far besides people's recent Masterbucks experience, is that they've raised prices on domain renewals, and doing that threw themselves out of the domain investors corner (they won't give the same bulk/investor/namepros discount that they used to). I've had to transfer many domains to other registrars because of this. Then, a month later, they lowered the costs, but not enough. Biggest pro, as mentioned, is their customer and technical service (they always do everything they can to help, and no, they're not bots - try chatting with them and being cordial).
