I bought a Vitra S50 1200mm Mirror Cabinet from Ergonomic Designs, who claimed on their website that it is a best seller, It arrived on time kerb-side delivery only, "I'm not insured to carry it upstairs" - why not? A bathroom cabinet weighing more than a washing machine dumped inside the front door of a block of flats - thanks for your help. I couldn't lift it and there was no point in moving it further into the building as there was no way I could fit it nor any way the bathroom wall would support it. Ergonomic Designs arranged for its collection and only charged me £50 for the privilege - if the website had an accurate specification of the product - mentioning the weight of a very heavy product is required, I feel - what is it, 60Kg? - I would not have bought it and would be £50 richer - so no issues with Ergonomic Designs as such, apart from inadequate information on their website and their very common business model of selling products which they may never have seen, simply repeating the wholesaler/drop-shipper's descriptions and images. Would I recommend the mirror cabinet? If you have a crane and reinforced concrete walls, sure, if not, don't bother, save yourself 50 quid.

Have received our shipment of bathroom shower sets and accessories.Thanks for the great service and although Australia is not on your list of countries you do business with, we managed to by-pass the system using a UK based freight forwarder. Although we understand your unwillingness to ship "down-under" we would however recommend that the payment portal be expanded to allow payments from Australian based purchasers. The products are FIRST CLASS , the shipment was packed well and we received it within one month.

My third order with EDB. I deliberated for a long time before ordering this shower screen. My preference would have been the Huppe brand (Innov8 by Roman came close) because a bifold door opening into a small shower space poses a safety concern. Huppe is not available in the UK (I checked with the manufacturer) and I was unable to physically check the quality of the Roman shower screen. The quality of the Merlyn Series 8 is superb, but in the end it was down to the wall profile and hinges. However, I had to redesign the shower area to factor in the inward folding shower door - so that in the event of a fall during showering, rescuing in a restricted space would be unhampered. The team at Ergonomic Designs replied to my emails promptly, online chat and ordering was easy, delivery was on time. Price not bad, not the cheapest, but good communication and peace of mind is worth paying a little extra for.

Driver called on delivery date asking which exactly flat to bring the stuff, then he asked are we at home or not. When we told we are in he said the wrong stuff is loaded on the van and called back again to confirm with warehouse the rescheduled delivery for next day. No redelivery happened. Nobody contacted. It is not possible to get through on their telephone support, driver does not pick up the phone. This delay resulted in financial losa that is greater than cost of item ordered. They lost great trade customer I am afraid.

Haven't fitted the item yet, but from browsing for the product to taking delivery its been an excellent service so far. I suspect the shower enclosure we've ordered isn't a commonly stocked brand, we could only find half a dozen sites listing it, none of which were "well known names" - all the other sites had a real mix of reviews, with too many negative ones for us to feel comfortable ordering with. Ergonomic designs were the second cheapest (not by far either), but their reviews (even with the occasional poor one) were much better. The other sites poor reviews all related to delivery issues and no customer service. So, we took a punt and placed our order with Ergonomic designs and kept our fingers crossed. We immediately got an order confirmation with all the relevant details. 48 hours before delivery we got a dispatch email - however since ordering, an hospital appointment came up, typically on the date of expected delivery. We spoke to a guy on the live chat customer service, he liaised with the delivery firm and got it rebooked for a later date that was suitable, free of charge. Today was delivery day. This morning we got a text advising us of our time slot (only slight gripe, it was between 9 and 1. No big deal, but it's becoming more common to be given more precise slots now so maybe moving forward that could be looked at? Or maybe even a live tracking service?). The van turned up, driver was really pleasent I offered to give him a lift with the items, and noticed in the back of his wagon, everything was neatly stacked, and everything strapped in place - it looked like the van could tip over and everything would remain in place! The two large boxes appeared in great condition. We don't unpack them till tomorrow, but I'd be surprised if they were any issues. Overall, very impressed with the ease of the site. The price was very reasonable. The live chat agents were really helpful. And delivery was spot on. So from my experience so far I would be happy to use again and recommend to others.

I am sure this would have been a 5 star review if my items had not arrived broken, not once, but 3 times. As soon as you have a problem it seems they pass you to their supplier and absolve themselves of any responsibility whatsoever. They were completely unhelpful and the suppliers were impossible to get hold of

Called to check stock, staff were very helpful and professional. Was sent an email to arrange date and time of delivery. Arrived the next day, as promised. Fantastic service, great prices products and prices. Very impressed!

I received my new Toilet Seat at sale price even though my item ended up being out of stock. It didn’t take Ergonomic Designs very long to rectify this problem. It was very quickly back in stock for me and the item was then delivered straight afterwards. I was very happy with the service and was offered a full refund had I wished to cancel my order because of the delay. It was purchased at the sale price. Excellent service.
