I’m very disappointed about your service with test to release which one came with out labels and envelope for returning. I sent my friend to the post office to buy envelope and pay for special delivery. Also the results come after 6 days when I already finished with the quarantine. This was waste of money for buying test and loosing working days. This is unprofessional company I want my money back.
The process of the receiving the test, doing it and posting it was good but waited a very long time for the test result to arrive. 48 hours after posting it.
I bought with them a test to relase. My day 5 was on Saturday so the sample arrived via Royal mail at the lab on Monday at 14:00. I was a bit nervous and wrote them also an email and the gave me this data. The result arrived in 30 hours of sample receipt at lab. It would be much more calming if the online system recorded also when the lab received the sample so you know what to expect.

My husband and I recently travelled from the US to the UK to see family for a short trip. I used their ‘test to release’ (day 5 test at home kit) to allow quarantine to end earlier than waiting for the 10day result. We took our tests and priority posted them early in the morning on a Friday. Their website states that results take 12-36hrs from the time they are received by their lab. I’ll also note at this point we had done our day 2 tests through a different company and received results the very next day (even though they state results can take up to 48hrs). After not hearing anything by Sunday night (36+hrs after we posted the kits) I used the Royal Mail tracking number to check when they were delivered. It stated 8:29am on Saturday morning…at this point it was day 8, a full 3 days AFTER the day 5 and certainly over the 36hr mark and a long agonizing wait. I contacted them on Monday morning (day 8 of our quarantine) to see what had happened. They said that their ‘terms and conditions’ state that it’s 12-36hrs after the lab open the box!! We received our test results later on the Monday (Day 8 of our quarantine) right before we had to post our required day 8 test. And only 2 days before we were eligible to be released anyway (with a negative test). I absolutely DO NOT recommend this service, it is false advertising with lack of communication and you are left feeling out of pocket and robbed of precious time.
I received the test kit on time. It was as described and the test itself was easy to use and package and post. Instructions were fine. I sent the test back as instructed three weeks ago and have still not had a test result. The only thing I have been sent is the email to review them on this website which I have duly done.
I received OUTSTANDING service from Charlotte at Everything Genetic. She addressed my queries immediately and resolved all my issues. I was super impressed.
Incredibly slow, and impossible to reach on the phone. I got my test result after 48 hours from receipt, instead of the 24 advertised as average. The phone number will put you on hold for hours without anyone picking up.
Bought this kit through Nechells Pharmacy. I sent my day 8 test early in the morning and it was delivered at 18:20 the same day. The results were eventually sent at 03:25 on day 11. Fortunately I had completed Test to Release so wasn't dependent on this result to end quarantine. A supplier and a test lab to be avoided at all costs.
This has to be the worst ever COVID service I’ve used. I paid about £60 for a day 5 Test to Release self kit which was delivered to me on time. I returned the test kit on the evening of day 4 (let’s even assume they received it on day 5 evening or day 6 morning). However, I did not get my results till my last day in quarantine, day 10! What a waste of money. I had paid for a day 8 test with a separate company- the results of that came back before EGLs did! I’m livid! And multiple attempts to reach them failed! Please do NOT use these guys if you don’t want to loose money and remain stuck indoors. Absolutely terrible service- with ZERO apologies!
I ordered the 5th day release test, but I didn't receive it in time! Very disappointed!
After my less than happy experience I have been offered a refund for my husbands test as the results had taken so long to come through. My day 5 results were through Saturday and when I chased up my husbands results a very helpful lady called Jayde went out of her way to find out what was happening and we received the results last night. I am alot happier with the company today ! A big thank you to Jayde.
Generally pleased with the turnaround time but you didn’t acknowledge receipt of my sample at the lab like Randox do which would have been helpful. When I emailed an urgent enquiry no one bothered to get back to me (and still haven’t) The first thing a customer is ‘greeted’ with when they phone is the threat about offensive behaviour rather than a general welcome.
I paid for a test to release and received my results nearly 6 days after. Meaning I still had to quarantine and and ended up spending extra money. Tried calling them and waited on a queue for over 1 hour just for the call to be hung up. Seems impossible to get through to them.
Thank you, guys for this good experience with your lab. I received my results 48 hours after I posted the swab at the priority postbox. I must admit it did require a bit of focus making sure I filled in all the right details to activate my kit, but the attention to details paid off and in the end it was a pleasant experience.
Test kit was not sent on time. Only after calling the customer service for 2 hours without anyone on the line at the end of the line and sending an email was the kit sent. The address was probably input wrong, because Royal Mail couldn't deliver the package. Had to ask the NHS to deliver a replacement kit.
This company is a team of charlatans. Do not recommended. I will raise a complaint with my local MP to have this company removed from the GOV.UK website as they are literally stealing your money. Covid test day 2 and day 8 not received. No e-mail confirmation received of receipt. Managed to once get through to Everything Genetic for the advisor to tell me I can't have my result and contact UK Covid Testing Limited. I then proceeded to be met with an answering machine saying they are taking too many calls and to try back later. This answering machine is on a loop and is on all hours of the day. I tried another number that redirected me to a mailbox that was full. This is absolutely insane! Charged me £157 to come and visit my daughter, Track and Trace would not get off my back and had to stay at home and quarantine not knowing what to do next. I cannot wait to take this matter further, absolutely appalling. Making money out of poor people trying to reunite with family, it's a disgrace.
Day 5 test to release results were sent to me over 36 hours after having been received by Everything Genetic. These tests are time critical so this was very disappointing. My wife, whose sample was received at the same time, was sent her results 11 hours earlier.

Jul 01,2021UPDATE: After receiving a generic reply to my review I still have not received my results, 03/07/2021. You have had my test since 29/06/2021. I am not sure how long it takes for the lab to open and process a test, but 5 days is unacceptable. I may have purchased my test from another company, but you are the ones who processed my test and sent me an email with my day 2 results. Instead of sending generic replies to a review, as a company you should be looking to actually improve the way you do business. It is just unacceptable. I definitely do not recommend this company as it is clear to see they are more concerned with making money then building a good relationship with their customers. Any one knows that this can and will hurt the possibility of having return customers and deter new ones from purchasing your product. I know I will not be when I will be traveling again next month. I used this company for my day 2 and day 8 tests. It took over 48 hours to receive my day 2 test results. I am still waiting for my day 8 results and my quarantine ended on Monday, today is Thursday. I would not recommend this company to anyone who wishes to receive their results in a timely manner.
