Been using you for a while now, always reliable and despite living a stones throw from an excellent butcher you always can be relied on to excel, Thors Hammer was downright amazing 6 of us polished it off totally yesterday lunch time. Obeyed your recipe to the letter, and boy did it work!
Collected from shop and when I arrived they were ready for me with my order, the lamb shanks were cooked yesterday and were fantastic

I should give zero stars for most recent order but never reviewed Farmison before and a previous order was good and would have warranted a 5 star review for the quality and taste so I will average it out, 2.5 stars but then settling on 2 stars only because or their bad default refund policy. From my recent order a key cut of meat was missing, due to “stocking issues”. Not knowing what they have in stock is just not good management, and causes serious problems for their customers who will often have planned/relied on getting delivery of the item(s) ordered, paid for (and confirmed) by the company. Adding insult to injury, you then receive an email to say that unless you (the customer) gets back in touch to request a money refund, they will “credit your account so you can spend it on a future purchase”. I wonder on which planet any customer would prefer to lend them money rather than just have an automatic refund for Farmison’s inability to deliver what they’d sold? Clearly, the refund should be automatic and not rely on the customer “requesting it”. Not least given the background of the company previously having gone bust with the loss of money for their creditors so, as a customer, you have every right to be cautious and clearly don’t want to voluntarily put yourself in the position of becoming a potential creditor of the company. And on top of this, 24 hours after having received an email that the item would be (and indeed was) missing from the order, my online account with the company for some reason shows the order was “delivered in full”.
Flavour is worth the price! Excellent meat.

I ordered £300 worth of Christmas goods including Turkey. Their date for delivery did not come out as I had put in so I sent an email just after purchase with correct delivery date of the 19th of December. I received an email to say they had received the delivery date, however they sent the food anyway. I called to say I could not take food now because no where to store it and that I would have called earlier had they not sent an email to say delivery date was received. This food has just all arrived at my house and they basically said tough we were too busy to read your email! I will never use them again terrible customer service.
We've been buying meat from Farmison for a while. Service has been fine up until now. Earlier in the year, 1 chicken was off when it arrived, but replaced very quickly. My most recent order arrived with over £70 worth of meat missing. I've tried phoning customer service 3 times - bland music and no one answers. I emailed their customer care team yesterday, but have yet to receive a response 26 hours later. Now I'm concerned the same thing may happen with my Christmas order.
Sadly one of the items was off. The eat by was today. Had to thrown the meat away. Can’t be bothered with this again. I freeze the meat as I ordered a large order. But this happened last time on an order and they kindly refunded and replaced.
The product is good and the delivery time and packaging is excellent. Well worth it for happy meat!
Good quality meat. Disappointed that it wasn’t in polystyrene box as it used to be. The ice packs had started melting and bix was wet.
