Mar 09,2024I am so impressed that the process was truly all digital! Other HELOC lenders wanted 20+ documents submitted, and the process could take weeks. The rate and fee options are very competitive and the chat support was always available when I had a question. We are using the loan to add a new roof and solar to our house, and I was happy to learn they will reammortize the loan after making a payment of more than 10% of the balance. This will be perfect when we apply solar tax credit money next year. The e-notery process was easy and the timing of the steps was very reasonable. We got funds in a little over a week ..even with the 3-day cancel period.

Mar 09,2024This has been on of the easiest transactions I've experienced and I've made many similar trasactions. I provided access to the required financial information through the (Plaid) application and I provided access to my filed tax returns. They had all the information they needed to make an offer. It litterally took hours to complete this transaction. What may be a little disconcerting is this is a new way of doing business with low to no touch, meaning just about everything is digitized and processed automatically as comapred to traditional lending methods. Even the appraisal used was an automated process through one of their vendors. Since I have most of my information digitzed, I didn't have a need to make copies or scans of anything. The lending process was super simple and I'm very happy so far. I'll proivde an update once I have experience with their loan servicing functions.

Mar 08,2024What a great process at Figure to apply. Fast, and all online. Very purposeful and understandable application questions. Processing speed on the front end was like lightning. My only holdback from giving a five star was incomplete communication on money release date and who the servicer will be once funded. Small nitpicks overall. I would highly recommend Figure to homeowners looking to withdraw some equity at low rates and fees. đź‘Ť

Mar 08,2024This company advertises approvals in 5 minutes and funding in 5 days. This is a best case scenario. For whatever reason, approval for our loan took several days. After funding approval, because of local laws where I live, it required a visit from a local notary to sign the documents which added several more days. The loan was funded within 5 days after the documents were signed and sent back by the notary. All told, the loan process took about 2 weeks. Figure certainly made it easier than other loan processes that I've gone through in the past but be aware that it will probably take longer than their advertising would have you believe. I am happy with my overall experience.

Mar 04,2024Really fast response and help from the representatives online, however the automated system seems to have some glitches. It incorrectly read my drivers license as expired. Once that was resolved it took me reaching out to get the online notary session set up. There was no email like it said there would be. If I hadn’t been checking the website consistently this would have take a lot longer than it has already. I should have my funds any day now, but still don’t. Overall really thought it would be quicker and more seamless.

Mar 04,2024My Fico score is 835. I am 79, .... been there and done that with real estate loans. I was shopping and checking for an equity loan with Figure Lending LLC's Pre- approved marketing. (Bankrate and Renofi are co-operators.) I found (Loan-To-Value) is low, and APR high. While I was non-committal to get such a loan, the agent threatened to report an Adverse Action as Unqualified, if I do not proceed with the loan. Within a week such a notice was posted on-line. Is this high pressure, lending by intimidation under duress, elderly abuse, age discriminating, or something else unscrupulous? My Congressional representative has resulted in an inquiry by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB.) Despite the denial, as a minimum, corporate goals need to be set to train staff to avoid consumers feeling high pressure and threats. Be careful if you are just shopping. Ignore the marketing finesse. In my experience, I can testify they don't like to take a No for an answer. Try it and beware.

Mar 02,2024I was not given the full breakdown of how the payments was going to be. It’s like having another mortgage which very little goes to your principal very month. I did a really big mistake taking out this. It’s better to get a personal loan if you need the cash to fix anything or to consolĂdate your debt. So very careful getting a loan like this you will end up paying triple for what you ask. Don’t do it find other ways. I’m telling you for experience.

Feb 27,2024I could do everything online. Uploading my documents was safe & secure. When closing my loan, I was Able to use an e-notary... it was a short session by zoom. Everything was explained thoroughly, my questions were answered quickly. When I sent emails, someone from customer service always answered within 24 hours. And above all, Figure treated me with respect. I didn't feel intimidated like I have EVERY OTHER TIME I HAVE DEALT WITH ANY BANK FOR MORTGAGE OR PERSONAL LOANS. Figure treated me as tho THEY worked for ME! It was just a very smooth, easy, pleasant experience. I will use Figure for all of my banking needs from now on. I don't think anyone compares!
