So.... my wife has bought me socks and boxers (French connection ones) for Christmas, the boxers seem fine but the socks are terrible, baring in mind French connection are supposed to be a half decent brand so you would think that they would be able to get something as simple as socks right but no each pair I have worn, by the end of the day the stitching is coming away across the front of my toes, I thought fair enough after the first pair did it but the rest of the pack has followed suit each day I wore a pair, pair after pair these holes appeared, they seem like they've been really cheaply made, very disappointed to day the least and will definitely not be buying any thing els branded French connection in case it falls apart the same way

I have spent over a month trying to contact their customer service, with no response. I sent back a return, and can see it was received 12/24. No one will respond. On Twitter they just direct me to the same email that provides no responses. The return was over $200, and it’s clear that money is not being refunded at this point. I am going to have to open a dispute with PayPal soon, which is incredibly frustrating. I will never buy from this brand again after this experience. UPDATE: A few weeks after this I received a partial refund. There was a $15 shirt that I did not get the money back for, but at that point I was so fed up $15 wasn't worth the continual fighting.

Things can go wrong - but its how they are dealt with that matters. After an issue with a refund I was impressed by the speed of response from the customer service team.

I returned part of an order in early December 2021, I received an e-mail confirming the return had been received on 8th December 2021. The e-mail stated I would receive a refund within 5 - 10 working days, but on day number 10 nothing had been received so I contacted customer services. The response was that refunds can actually take up to 15 working days (so not 5 to 10 days as stated in the returns e-mail). I was fine with that, and duly waited for 15 working days to pass (excluding the Christmas/New Year bank holidays). The 15 days has now been exceeded and still no refund, I e-mailed customer services again on 4th January 2022 but no response yet. I'm really not happy that money has still not been returned to me and I've had to pay it off my credit card to avoid incurring interest. I’ve just called customer services and they were great, really helpful and got the issue sorted so I’ve increased the rating accordingly - I kept part of my order and love it so still think the products are good and will continue to shop with them.

I visited the French connection store in Chester England I wanted to treat myself to something that I had been looking at through the window. The staff were busy merchandising and I ask if all sizes were out the manager rudely replied in a not nice tone all sizes are out and continued to talk to the members of staff .It is not a great atmosphere and as to a client perspective really uncomfortable.

Bad customer service ever in the US! I have tried to reach out to them by all kinds of contacts, emails, messages and phones but have never been replied. I tried to return my order and just needed return label from them. In the policy, they ask to contact customer service to get the return label. I have tried so many times for the past 6 days but I never got replies. So I don’t know what to do now. Very frustrated. I will not buy anything from this website again!

Outrageous return costs for a tiny rug we bought from French Connection home department. The rug (runner style, no larger than a coat or shoe box) cost £26.75 to return to by recorded delivery. We paid £76.00 for the rug and £5.95 for shipping. How can anyone safely order items from you if returns cost that much? HM Home, Zara Home, Made - anyone of FC competitors offers this service. French Connection need to actively warn customers going through checkout that return costs are our responsibility. I would never have ordered, and will never order again now that I understand returns cost that much - I'm sure most wouldn't either.

I have tried to call your customer service team numerous times with no answer. I have emailed numerous times with no damn answer! This is the most unreliable store to contact not responding to any emails. I have ordered these items in error. Can I please cancel this orders for a refund please?? I would give minus stars if possible for the non-existent customer service, no free return by mail service, and for the item itself. Firstly the item's size chart is listed in US sizes. However, the actual item was at least more than three sizes larger! Because of this inequity in measurements I needed to get a refund. But FCUK doesn't pay for customers' returns. I had to send the item back for $20 at my own expense. In addition, FCUK's policy states that they will deduct an $8 'return fee' from the cost of the item for any return that is less than $75! This is totally unfair. Other major retailers offer free returns costing any amount in this day and age. Since customers are required by FCUK to pay for their returns already, adding a fee is just too much to charge some of us. As for the 'customer service', there is no phone number listed. Nor is there any email. Thus, I thought I'd use their Facebook messenger to ask them a question. No one bothered to answer me up to this day. As a result of all of these issues with FCUK, I will never patronize them again both in person and especially online! UPDATE 12/7/2021: In regards to the store's reply, I would prefer to send an email directly to the UK customer service department as I do not wish to post my order number publicly. Also to let you know, the item was delivered to your Hollis, NY address. Therefore, I am expecting to be refunded, however, I have had no acknowledgement of my return! Somehow I am not surprised, and it is yet another example of bad customer service that needs revising asap! Just to inform you, I also sent a returned item to a major American department store the same day I posted the returned item to FCUK. But unlike FCUK, this department store has not only acknowledged the item was returned but has processed the refund to my credit card all within a week's time total! I hope FCUK doesn't try to hold on to my money as that would be illegal. So again, please do reply & let me know what the UK customer service department's email as I want my issue to be taken care of by the head office. Thank you!

I have to say I was disappointed in the delivery procedure - however customer services have been BRILLIANT at sorting things out - and I am thrilled with the products, if you contact their head office in Swansea they are very helpful

If only I’d read the reviews first… FCUK used to be a credible brand with good customer service - no more. Short version: online order not delivered by UPS (no surprises there. Why do companies continue to use UPS?); impossible to contact FC (no reply, even to PayPal dispute). Clearly once the goods have left the building, FC wash their hands of any issues, or indeed of whether or not their customers are satisfied. Well I’m not, and I won’t be using them again. Take note people - they couldn’t give a FCUK about your experience.

Wish I read the bad reviews before I placed my order. I've ordered a marble coffee table which looked very white / cream / natural online therefore would go well with our natural scandi rug. I had to pay £40 for a two man delivery, which wasn't included in the item price unlike it is in other retailers, but having no choice I did. The table arrived today, and it has a very distinct purple and back pattern, looking NOTHING like the picture on their website. Purple doesn't go with ANYTHING that we have. I've contacted FCUK to arrange a return only to be told this will be another £40 for another 2 man delivery, and it doesn't matter that the table looks COMPLETELY different than the one they advertise online as all marble table may look different. I understand that marble tables will never look identical, however the shades in general should be predictable and not completely different (not purple / black when expected white/cream). We have a big marble dining table from another well known retailer and it looked as expected as per their online description and pictures. Do not order pieces of furniture from FCUK unless you fancy throwing £80 down the drain for delivery and return charges.

Bought a stunning full length black dress. Online and in real life the dress looks beautiful…. Sadly it is poorly made and completely impractical…it has a built in body without poppers and an extremely delicate full length back zip, so unless you can manage all evening without going to the toilet, or have a zip-fastening minion to follow you everywhere you go it is completely unwearable. The zip also catches the delicate fabric every time and nearly broke when I tried it on. Stupidly I have lost the delivery note so can’t exchange or refund, so it’s just going to sit in my wardrobe still with the tags on looking lovely and being utterly useless until I can afford a zip-fastening minion. Such a shame - the sad triumph of style over substance.

Tried to purchase a coat twice ( more fool me ) Both occasions, it didn’t arrive it was out of stock and fc have know idea when it will be in stock not sure why they are continuing to sell this item as they clearly have no idea when it is in stock , the website is still saying available for dispatch on 18th October ??? I feel sorry for the 3 other people who have purchased it in the last 24 hours , I’m still waiting for my refund it’s a joke that my money is tied up in your account for your error fc ???

Poor service ordered several items from home range , order was confirmed but 10 days later still no dispatch email. I arrived home to find a letter from DHL to say they tried to deliver parcel and to get in touch to reschedule . This proved impossible as apparently the parcel had been returned ! FC have issued refund which wasn’t what I wanted but I WONT bother ordering again again . Are we supposed to be mind readers as to when parcel is arriving ? Oh and still waiting for response from customer service other companies seem to manage to communicate within 48 hours So disappointed .

Chester store. I bought a lovely camel blouse, nice service. I was pretty loaded up with other shopping 🙄 and when I left the store one of my paper bags ripped sending all my stuff across the pavement, much to the amusement of everyone enjoying their drinks in the sun 🙀🤣. The gorgeous young assistant came running out to help pick everything up and gave me a new FC bag. A lovely act of kindness of someone going above & beyond & lovely reflection on the service of French Connection. Thank you 🥰

Bought a dress online £120, plus £10 for postage as I live abroad, arrived and the dress was obviously previously worn smelt of body odour and perfume and cigarettes. Disgusted! Still waiting to receive a reply from my email complaint. I can't believe they would send a dress that's been worn. The dress is sold out online and I would have to pay to return .... completely exasperated, people should not buy from this unprofessional company.

I ordered a lovely black blouse Brenna Fil both in white and black. My first experience was that the size 12 in both was minuscule and I reordrerd a size 16 ( which is not my normal size at all). However when I reordered the black in 16 it came but the size was definitely not a size 16. It was more like the minuscule 12 originally ordered. I then reordered the size 16 again in black writing clearly on the return note the problem. When received again guess what the size was definitely again not a size 16. I have now returned again. So I have spent 3 lots of postage in order to get the wrong size and to no avail. Something is very wrong with the sizing system at French Connection as I am normally a 10/12. I feel very disappointed any will not be ordering again from this firm. I at least should have had a response from my written note.

Terrible customer service. Took 60 days for them to process a return and claim that the item had pet hair on it - when I literally took the ill fitting item out of the bag and sent it back to them the very next day. Horrible clothing. Horrible customer service. Should not be in business.

I'm not sure if they're inundated or just lacking in staff, but the customer service is so poor. It's competitors respond in 24-48 hours, with FC I'm waiting days and days to discuss a poor quality item
