I tried calling them and emailing them regarding a return and I never got through to them and they never replied to my email. I paid for my own return and sent it back to them and have still not been refunded. I will fight this through my credit card! For such a big brand this is very unprofessional service. I usually hear from other companies within 24 hours with prompt service! I will not be ordering again from them with such bad service!
I bought a 100% cotton, rolled sleeve tee dress from FCUK via Myer online. The quality was bad. The cutting was not flattering. The colour was not well represented in the photo. One sleeve's hem was not properly taken up in the seam, leaving 2 holes that developed, after the edge slipped out of the hem after handwashing. FCUK has bad quality control. Fortunately, I bought the dress when it was on clearance. Unfortunately, I cannot return it of course.
I just received a console from French Connection home. First they make you pay 40 pounds for delivery and after no communication and weeks of wait I get a call at 8am from a delivery man outside my house ??! Poor experience. After opening my £175 console package I discovered a very cheaply made console that keeps moving and with paint going off. So disappointed. Will never ever buy again. I paid £210 in total for a piece that looks £50 at most!!!!
I paid £70 for a dress 3 weeks ago. Received an email the following day saying it was not in stock and that my ordered had been cancelled (why let me pay for it then?!). The email also stated if I’d ‘paid by debit card you will not have been charged yet and will not need to wait for a refund’. However, I checked my banking app and I very definitely was charged £70 for a dress I never even received! I have emailed 3 times over the past 2 weeks, still nothing. £70 might not seem a lot to some people, but I’m a student and that dress was meant to be for my mum’s funeral 1 week ago. Sad and disappointed.
French connection- oxford. Nearly £70 on Wellington boots. Sent photos, emails of faulty insoles that came out after first use. Material all scrunched up inside Very uncomfortable. Still battling with them . Will never buy from them again. Terrible customer service.
Avoid buying anything online from this company. Clothes is of poor quality and bad fit. Nearly impossible to return. Their voice mail box is full and no longer receive calls. You can only contact them through emails, which is already strange for a big clothing company. I only tried the clothes on and never wore it for longer than a few minutes and they rejected my return because they “found hair” on it. I buy almost all my clothes online and this is the first time I heard about such a ridiculous reason. News says this company is suffering losses. Continue this poor customer service you’ll be bankrupt soon.
Won’t be using again. Advertises free delivery over £50, but ambiguous and obscure terms and conditions make it impossible to achieve. Really slow to reply to queries online and unwilling to help resolve issues. Avoid.
I have a paper credit note which had to be extended as can only be used in store (not online) and stores are closed due to Covid. Then when the stops opened I drove 30 minutes to my nearest French Connection to be told they were a franchise and don’t accept credit notes. I also made a trip to London to discover their Oxford St store has gone. I’ve been emailing customer services as they say I can use it online for over a month with many messages back and forth and still no credit! I am so sick of this service it’s appalling! I will never shop with French Connection again and I will tell all my friends how bad it is.
I have been a customer of French connection for a number of years however I won’t be shopping there again. They use a paper based return system which means both parties have no way of proving items returned. They are accusing me of lying about the items I have returned to them and withholding hundreds of pounds. This is not the way to treat customers.
Don't buy on line , they make it nearly impossible to return , quality is not good , and customer needs to pay the return cost, then wait and wait and chase for the refund , not worth it. Used to be good brand , awful quality now
Terrible Customer Service..... 3 Emails unanswered 4 Phone calls on continual hold. Damaged furniture received....however they seem to think that no response is acceptable. Avoid.
I purchased a set of tires from Centralepneus.fr. more than a month ago. They guaranteed fast delivery (3-4 days), and I paid in full. Since then NOTHING.... No tires, no calls, no apologies, etc, only computer generated messages periodically of 'we're working on it', meaning nothing. After realizing they were simply a scam, I told them I wanted a refund - HA! That elicited a THREAT from them of keeping around ⅓ (!) of the money I had paid, saying this would be a 're-stocking fee'. Here's how that scam works: - they take your full payment, knowing you will not get tires (in 3-4 days or at all) - instead of making my single order that I placed, they then break it down into multiple orders (one for each identical tire), which they did - once a customer demands their money back for non-delivery of items purchased, they claim this was multiple orders and that asking for a refund means they will KEEP £ 25 per order(!), not the single order originaly placed, in my case, meaning 3 x £ 25 = £75 (or around €100, meaning 34% of the original cost that I paid. So, this is how you run an organized scam: sell something, don't deliver it, and then steal 34% of the paid money for 'restocking' something you either never had or intended to ship...! Brilliant. This is CENTRALEPNEUS.FR - Do NOT fall for these thieves' scam. More than a month after they stole my money, I am now hiring a lawyer and will pay nearly €2000 to get a refund of €300, IF I ever see a centime. France has no Better Busines Bureau or any entity that will truly help a customer who gets ripped-off, so don't think I have not tried for a month to get justice. Just avoid CENTRALEPNEUS.FR. at all costs. RF
Lost my return label. They do not offer a print out version on their website. They charge a $8 fee for returns. Their sizing is off too. I bought one dress and one shirt both were XS but there were huge on me. I wouldn't purchase anything from their online store.
I’m a size M when it comes to shirts and I purchased 3 shirts from them. They looked good but were really small. Exchanged them for a size L but they still were extremely small. Since their biggest size is XL, I can’t wrap my head around what adult man can actually buy clothes from them. Size L must only fit men who usually wear a size S. Mind boggling.
Ordered x2 leather jackets in two different sizes for my partner, and received our order very quickly within a day or two. We kept one, and returned the other the next day using the pre-paid returns label. I then received a prompt refund within a couple of days. No issues at all, this was a good experience, and I would happily use again.
Extremely unhappy with French Connection having had an issue with an order since December! I was given a coat for Christmas to which it was too big! I re-ordered a smaller size desperate to wear the coat ASAP and avoid pro-longed exchanges. I sent the larger coat back to receive a email from their customer service team to advise the incorrect size coat to the one I had filled the form in to return didn’t match and they requested my address to return to sender. (Stupidly, I had sent the wrong size back by mistake, entirely my fault!!) I replied by email with my return address to which I had no reply for over 2 weeks, multiple calls and their phone lines said shut?! I sent numerous chaser emails until I found upon myself that they have a live chat. Several times I was advised a call back to which nobody ever rang. I had to log on to live chat every time I wanted to speak to someone to chase up some form or reply/ update. Eventually the coat was sent back but it was with huge concern that the amount of time they took to send me the correct coat back to swap, would mean I had passed their returns policy. A supervisor advised this wouldn’t be an issue and I was entirely grateful. I sent back the correct coat and I have received an email from their customer services team to advise the package wasn’t sealed and that NO refund is due. I was asked was there any discrepancies. In panic that this wasn’t the end of the coat saga I immediately replied to advise the package was in fact teared open but reseasled with tape as I had swapped the coat and sent the correct one back ( I re-used their packaging!) Again! After no reply I took to live chat to speak to someone urgently. They advised that the coat infact had marks on to which I argued. Was it because it was unsealed or because it had marks ?!? Several emails later I asked for this to be escalated and simply asked them to read the booking history so I could bring this matter (nearly 3 months worth which had caused me a huge amount of stress) to a close. The item was in brand new condition with tags in a box. I have received NO reply to date but the coat magically appeared to my home address! Why can’t you reply to your customers? I work in travel which is under HUGE amount of strain right now and we are receiving huge volumes of calls and emails due to Covid... BUT we have our phone lines open and can reply out of coutesy? I am very upset to have been promised a refund to now be out of pocket for an item that was in perfect condition... i appreciate times are difficult but it seems there’s any excuse not to refund customers and keep their well earned money. Extremely disappointed with their service and will never order from them again!

There ought to be another way of getting a reply from this company than having to resort to writing online comments ! After refunding me the delivery charges for an order that took over 20 days to arrive, the jeans are a terrible fit! a size 8 actually measures 42 inches around the waist which is not at all as advertised. However, it will come as not surprise that the poor customer service team have not responded to the email I sent them, including photos of the garment and a tape measure, at their request, a week ago. Even in pandemic terms, this is customer distancing gone mad. update - refund upon return of poor quality garment - at my expense, I may add, is all this company can offer !

Jul 26,2021I ordered some cushions in early June. After purchasing the cushions, I received an email stating that one of the cushions was out of stock and wouldn't be back in stock until 30th June. After majority of the cushions arrived on 15th june, I returned all of them due to smelling awful (literally like a soiled nappy). I then tried to contact customer services numerous times to cancel the order on the delayed cushion, however it is impossible to get through to customer services in order to do so. In the end I emailed customer services on the 15th June and again on 30th June stating that I wanted to cancel the order. Despite this, the order was not cancelled and was sent to me on the 20th July. I then had to pay to return the item. Incredibly poor customer services. Wouldn't risk buying anything from them again.
