Despite going back and forth multiple times, this retailer is refusing to honour legal rights in respect of refunds and instead just parrot their internal policies. They refused to address specific points in my complaint regarding rights set out, in law, and instead copied and pasted their own policy repeatedly. Staggering that a large retailer has such a flagrant disregard for their customers. Truly disappointed as this is a brand I have loved for years. ***** Responding by edit as I can't seem to respond to the reply. My point throughout has been that the earrings are unopened in a sealed pack, but have been told at least 7 times that you will not accept the return so I am very confused by the reply...
ORDER UK961740 Entered the incorrect delivery address and rang FCUK call centre this morning. Answered immediately by really helpful agent. Resolved with a call back with an hour. First class service. Would highly recommend.
I reviews a pair of white trousers which needed hemming after one wear. The online review before purchase described the trousers as good quality . They are unwearable because the hem on one leg has come away completely. After reviewing on trust pilot FC asked for the order number which I gave . I emailed over photographs but received an email asking for photographs . I replied saying these were sent but have received no reply whatsoever.

French connection(Shrewsbury branch) i am going to keep this respectively short, exchanges or credit notes i was told needed a receipt, for exchanges the policy is you do not need a receipt if you are exchanging or you require a gift card, i have never had this experience elsewhere, Reiss, Lauren, me + Em not a problem. However i will not be returning to french connection. The manager of the shrewsbury branch was chatting away to a colleague, her facial expressions was not welcoming it was sourfaced and basically could not be bothered and also remarked if i had a copy of my bank statement maybe that would surfice but probably too longwinded for her to find.Yes excellent advice! bad attitude and unprofessional. Maybe some of your staff need training in a curteous manner and less attitude. I will not be returning and have given my disliked purchase away. I will not be returning.

I recently ordered a dress that arrived with a noticeable rip, leading to a disappointing experience right out of the package. This issue alone is disheartening, but what compounds my frustration is the return policy. Despite having already paid for delivery, I was informed that the cost of returning the damaged item would also fall on me. This policy feels unfair, especially given that the reason for the return is a quality issue on their part, not a change of mind on mine. I contacted customer service regarding this issue; however, I haven't received any response from them yet.
Payed £69 for a top, only wore it a few times, now is fraying with holes on both cuffs. Contacted customer service, sent pictures, and unfortunately had not seen the care label, dry clean only!!!. Would never have bought this had I had known. Now have a top that can't be repaired, and no refund, as not followed instructions. Who in their right mind would pay about £7, everytime to dry clean. Will never shop there again.
I always visit the Brighton branch. Friendly, helpful staff and a good selection of clothing. Recently started using the men’s section for my 16 year old son too. Has some nice pieces and extra small works well for a tall, slim boy.
On Sunday the 4th March 2024 I bought a pair of ladies size 12 Jeans from French Connection. I tried them on in store and they seemed to fit okay, when I paid I informed the sales assistant that I wished to continue to wear them and she subsequently cut the price label off. During that afternoon the jeans became very loose fitting on me and were literally falling down, they also became very baggy (they now seem more like a size 14). I am unable to wear these jeans again as they are literally falling off me. I would appreciate it if I could exchange the jeans for a size 10 or receive a refund. I have the receipt which was sent to me by email. I do not have any other size 10 clothing as I am normally a size 12 or 14. The material they are made with definitely needs to be looked at.
Do not trust - Buyer Beware! I recently returned vial mail 2 separate clothing items approximately 2-3 weeks ago and I have not yet received return confirmation from the French Connection USA site. I even have confirmation from USPS that both items were delivered back to their warehouse in Jamaica, NY. This merchant is not following standard ecommerce selling practices and I will not be shopping from this site ever again. If you spot a FC product you like, you're better off ordering from a Retailer that you can trust will guarantee you a timely refund.
Had some difficulty with items arriving and postage, none of which were the customer care team's fault. However, the customer care team have been one of the best I've ever dealt with, always extremely friendly, helpful and doing their absolute best to make things right. A true example of how every customer care team should operate. Thank you so much for sorting out all the issues I've experienced.
My daughter bought me blue leather slippers for Christmas (bless her) with (faux?) Sheepskin liner. Look great and comfortable. However, I work, not a particularly heavy manual job, 5 on my feet most of the day and when I get home I put my slippers on. I soon realised they absorbed foot sweat and soon began to stink! FCUK must know this unless they expect everyone who wears their slippers not to actually do any real work? Very disappointed.
What an unpleasant surprise! I've been shopping there (online) for years and was quite happy with everything- including customer service, and all of a sudden it went really bad; Not only did they suddenly stop deliveries to Israel, without giving their loyal customers here any notice or warning- just like that- one day you're trying to check out on the UK site, and receive the notice delivery to your country is no longer available- then they refer you to their EU site- which is more expensive and takes A LOT more time to get back to you- but the advisor specifically writes that deliveries to Israel are still available there- and then another advisor decides they don't deliver to israel, despite what's written in the delivery table - ISRAEL ZONE 2 £14 2 - 6. Well, Dear French Connection, I like your clothing items, mostly, but I really don't like your disrespectful attitude towards loyal customers, and I can see other people here- LOTS OF THEM- don't like it either. Maybe you should re-think how you treat people who chose to spend their money wih you.
First time I’ve ever written a Trust Pilot review and the first time I’ve ever ordered from French Connection and it will be the last! You get zero stars. I usually don’t get to a point where I would write a negative review but almost 2 months on after my return (UK665023) was received by the warehouse I am still chasing a refund! Apparently the warehouse team received an item from another brand back? Who would do this?! I can be sure I sent the right dress back to them - I wasn’t sending anything back to any other retailer at the time. I have given all the details I can, I have all dates and emails saved - I have never experienced anything like this! Today I’ve been updated and according to the warehouse the “wrong item” should have been sent back to me via Royal Mail in… December. No sight of it. I’m really struggling to believe this and getting increasingly more upset and stressed out, I’m out of pocket £66.50. The whole situation is insane to me. Now I’ve been fobbed off to chase Royal Mail? I should have read the reviews here before ordering. French Connection, do better.
This is an absolute joke. I receive an email confirmed my returned item has been received at the warehouse on 10/01/24. 29/01 and I still haven't received my refund. Stop holding my money and refund me, I returned your item! Edit: No it's not a lost return because your customer service team confirmed your warehouse received the item. Refund me my item or I'm issuing a chargeback with my bank. Order number is UK702867.

Aug 02,2024Absolutely disgusted with the service. Ordered items and was sent the incorrect sizes. Packaging had one size on it and the item inside was different. Called up and said they would correct it and the correct one will be sent out working next day ( paid for it twice) to be told after a week later when called up it is out of stock and will send it out in a few days yet showing availability on the website. Benefit of doubt still waited another week to call up again to told not sure when it will back in stock, no emails no sign of the 1st order refund.Really disappointed as I could not wear this on my holiday and above all false false information simply lies being told. Had to call up and request a refund for the full order ended up paying 3x.
