Now I’m not an expert on branded items but I wouldn’t say French Connection is a high end brand at all. They are very over priced on clothing, the cut on trousers is weird, I have to try several different sizes on before I’m comfortable and happy (between an 8-10). The home are section is great though, quirky unusual items can be found if you look!
Used to love their brand when carried in the US, but bought some items online through Europe and sizing and cuts reflected on their site don't mesh with the reality. I was unable to return a $120 dress, wrong color and fit, because it cost $190 to send back and the vendor would not cover a label. So if you live in the US, you might want to hold off.
Pretty things their have. But too difficult to return an order. Hope your answer me soon on email 😐
I love French connection homeware. I have bought countless lights and soft furnishings and I love them. Customer service is great which I really value.
Poor quality items made with mostly unbreathable poliester.. Pathetic return policies without refund option nor gift card on items. Poor customer service hiding behind polices of withholding money, just so u won't get refund forcing customers to stick to the brand. I have been given a credit note not even available to be used online and no option to swap it for digital. In XXI century this is ridiculous.... Avoid!!!
FRENCH CONNECTION - SUCH STRESS OVER ONE DRESS! I purchased a dress online last week...boy, the stress I've had! First, the parcel was not delivered by their courier firm DHL, yet they stated it had been delivered. I had to convince both firms that I was NOT lying. Very stressful, very tedious, not easy! Then, the courier firm gained the evidence that I was telling truth..still awaiting my original parcel? French connection cant get the dress to me on time for the important occasion which I purchased it for. after all ive endured?.all a big mess. Very surprised that 2 very big companies just cant get it right for customers.
DO NOT TRUST FRENCH CONNECTION HOME... Terrible service!!! I ordered from the Home site, a very nice lamp which did not arrive... the site states £25 delivery charge includes a nominated date delivery yet I was not given this option and there was no communication of delivery nor any way to track my item. I was in touch with customer service over 1 month whereby french connection had £160 of my money... they never gave me any update of WHY or WHAT had happened they only told me they would investigate. I never received any explanation.. I was very patient with them but I had to forcefully demand a refund when I still received no reason or indication of IF or WHEN my lamp would arrive. Very disappointing when the lamp was still in stock, they didn’t offer to send another nor any compensation for the inconvenience. Just a terrible way to treat customers and I will never ever order from them again. Their stuff looks nice but they seem to have no idea themselves where it comes from. I believe they just sell under the FC name from other less trusted suppliers. They also gave me no way to leave proper feedback. Feefo is ridiculous as you can only leave review if invited to do so.
I recently bought a rug from FC home which looks *beautiful* on the website, for around £120. It was delivered shoved in a small bag, and when I opened it, found the pattern had actually been PAINTED on to the material. Immediately returned but had to pay for a return as this wasn't free. Terrible experience. I like their clothes which are usually good quality but will never buy home stuff from them again, and will think twice about their clothing range, if this is what they think counts for good quality.
I recently Purchased a Navy Carmelita Pea Coat at a bargain price of £55.00 with 10% off paying only £49.50 reduced from £175.00. This coat is amazingly warm with 75% Wool and 5% Cashmere. I have found lots of bargains on this website and love this store as I now buy quality more than the cost. It is oversized and I went down a size, which is perfect.

Bought a French Connection jacket from M&M Direct for my partner for Christmas, first one I ordered was too small (which was ok) but zip was faulty anyway, returned it and got a replacement, fitted and looked ok but on putting keys in pocket we realised neither pockets had been sewn up...so I sewed them as it cost me €11 to return first one, then after we got home on first wear we realised about 2 inches on shoulder hadn't been sewn either, unbelievable poor quality item, will never buy this brand again...unfit for purpose.

I placed an order 2 weeks ago and I still haven't received anything. its actually shocking and very disappointing that its taken up to 2 weeks and I still haven't received nor heard where the parcel is either lost or missing. At this stage, the customers are extremely rude and have being ignoring my emails for the last few days and not responding to my item concern it doesn't look like I'll be receiving any thing from french connection. It was a Christmas present and i have ordered this item early and yet one of the response i got was if it arrives late just return it. Absolutely disgusting customer services
Just wanted to say what a wonderful customer service team! There was a problem with my order, and everyone was so helpful to resolve it. Such a refreshing change. It’s understandable things don’t go to plan at times but it’s how things are put right, and they couldn’t have done anymore. Well done French Connection xx
I bought a winter jacket. It was the worst jacket I have ever bought! The jacket was literally falling apart! I will not order anything more than this brand!
Very poor customer service and deceptive sales techniques. Prior to the purchase of a coat for my son I explained to the sales person (who also happened top be the store manager) that if it didn't fit I would bring it back. She said that would not be a problem and that I had 28 days to decide. On returning the coat I was refused a refund and only offered a credit note or exchange. A credit note is of no use to me. I am a pensioner and very unlikely to ever buy from this shop for myself. My advice - do not buy from this company if a Christmas present or if buying for someone else. In fact don't buy.
Poor quality of jacket, the colour of the jacket discoloured my handbag that I carried. Now my rose gold handbag full of blue everywhere totally ruined. Contacted the customer service but they asked me to contact with the handbag company ask them how to remove the colour. Absolutely disgraceful company. Don't Buy anything from them.
I find this store is very good for cut on trousers, you can tell the quality is better, you really do get what you pay for! but I usually buy things in the sale, if I can find my size, tops sometimes come up big but it does have a very good description on clothing which is important when purchasing online, where it mentions oversized or generous fit, so I usually buy small. If you return goods the refund is the fastest I have received for online clothing.
