Aug 07,2023Lovely store but overcharged on four items at the till I visited the Store at Willington. The two ladies who were on the shop floor were helpful and the stock was excellent. A really good garden store. I bought two plants and two containers and was surprised at the amount I was charged. The two young women on the till were not very helpful and when I went through the receipt I found I was overcharged a pound on each container and double the price of the plants. This must be a common occurrence as the response was not a fullsome apology but irritation that I complained and the response was "she did not do it on purpose" rather than tell a manager of the problem or seek to escalate the problem. The till assistants had not read the price on the labels just scanned things without engaging brain and could not understand why anyone would be upset that they were charged a third more at the till. I have seen the reply and I am disappointed that the issue of the overcharging was not addressed. Negligence can be as serious as intent and this was a large amount to overcharge and on 4 items

I was given a 2 hour slot and was very pleased to have had a call saying the delivery was 15 minutes away. Aaron and Matt arrived and carried the equipment through into the garden where I wanted it, they were chatty and courteous, a fantastic team. Looking forward to my next order!
