Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Nov 14,2024Reposting my honest review as Furniture Direct online are doing everything they can to get it removed. Including flagging it for a range of different reasons haha My wife placed an order with this company around the 25th September. Their website advised it would be delivered within 5 working days. This wasn’t the case and it was delayed. Excuse after excuse was given, turned out they actually didn’t have stock for the sofa we selected. False advertisement. They kept trying to offer alternative sofas. They often ignored multiple emails from us asking for an update. We eventually cancelled and placed our order with another company who delivered our sofa the next day. There seems to be quite a few 5 star reviews on here from accounts that appear to have just been set up. They also bribe customers to change their honest reviews.My wife left an honest 1 star review. She then received an email from their customer service team mentioning if we removed or changed our review to a 5 star review they would bank transfer her £50. Unprofessional company in my opinion.

Nov 12,2024I ordered this sofa online, scared not knowing what quality it would be. I ordered the u shape bishop sofa with footstool. Delivered very quickly, it’s HUGE, quality is amazing and it’s the best risk I have took. When this got delivered, I had a foot missing from footstool so I messaged them, 2 days later I had it! Take the risk, I love mines!

Nov 10,2024Old sofa was very tired and getting uncomfortable, as we're unlikely to replace it again soon we went for a decent looking one that reclines and hopefully comfy. So far after a few days it is proving to be just that. Ordering was really simple and took a week from ordering to it being delivered (seen a 1 star review saying all these quick delivery reviews are suspicious but ours genuinely was quick delivery). Product matches description and pictures, the only reason it drops a star from our review is because the instructions that come with the sofa in order to build it up and plug it all in are quite poor, though that's because the sofa came from China.

Nov 09,2024The sofa is absolutely amazing! Best quality I have bought. Only given 4 stars for the quality of service of the delivery company, I am pregnant and have a toddler, removing packaging and assembly should be included, having to take the packaging off and lift the sofa was not ideal.

Nov 07,2024I would recommend Furniture direct online. I ordered my cornersofa on the Friday and received my sofa on the Thursday. I love my new sofa it is exactly what I ordered. I was kept up to date with the delivery. I found the whole experience stress free and easy. I would definitely buy from this company again. The quality of my sofa was excellent. The price was absolutely amazing.
