Dont buy their premium green waste compost it is literally full of plastic so much plastic. I emailed them but they didn't bother to respond I'll not be using them again & advise anyone else to look elsewhere.

the product might have got 5stars but my review is based on the whole experience, there are lessons to be learnt. on the plus side, the compost looks OK, haven't examined it in detail but should be OK for my raised beds. The delivery driver was friendly and put the pallet down exactly where I wanted it, even though it was on a driveway that was slopping down. 2 stars docked for the delivery not arriving by the arranged date, and more importantly not being told that there was a problem, I have sent an email asking what had happened, but I have yet to hear back from them. I will change this review if I have a satisfactory reply. Fortunately we were in when it arrived, any later and we would have been out. also note that the Vigo tracking is next to useless as it still says its at the delivery depot

Would have been better had stones & rocks not been added into the mix. I have ordered 4 bags now, & all of them have contained large rocks & stones.

Ordering was easy, and a nice friendly customer service phone call to confirm delivery was welcome. The actual delivery (10 oak sleepers) was arduous - the driver couldn’t work his pallet lifter or tail lift so we were forced to lift each sleeper from the pallet in the back of his truck, and manhandle it in. He didn’t assist in any way, aside from standing next to the pallet and then insisted we took the empty pallet too so he didn’t get stuck with it (it’ll actually come in useful for our project, but I still regard it as poor service)

I ordered 20 sleepers and advised the company I was in a wheelchair and my husband works 30 mins away and son in law work 45 mins away … they promised the driver would call me 1 hour before delivery to get the men back home to unload …. As the haulier pulled into the street he sent a message saying he was 10 mins away… I immediately phoned my husband who came straight back making it in about 20 mins …. My son in law had no chance to get back in time … the driver was rude and said it’s my problem to get them unloaded so my 65 year old husband had to do them himself !! A week later it was established we needed 8 more although I didn’t want to use them again we couldn’t find the oak sleepers anywhere else so ordered a further 8 to be delivered the following Thursday … on Monday I recent an email saying there would be a delay to my order as the hauliers couldn’t do Thursday … about 3 hours later I received another email saying they didn’t have my sleepers in stock so they were cancelling my order even though they had taken full payment when the order was placed 3 days earlier then told me it would take 5/10 working days to get my refund … I’m still waiting !!

I placed an order for 44 x 2.4m sleepers costing over £1,000 on Friday 13th May for delivery on Friday 20th May. I was contacted by the company on Wednesday 18th May by email informing me that they couldn't deliver on the day they had agreed. I had landscapers booked in to begin work on May 21st and I had arranged for 2 friends to take the Friday off work to help unload the sleepers as Gardoo state that a minimum of 2 people are required to unload. I called the company to ask for alternative solutions to get the sleepers on time... alternative hauliers they could use etc and they refused to look at other options. I had no choice but to delay our landscapers (which cost me an additional day of labour), ask my friends to reschedule their day off and accept a delivery on Monday May 23rd. On Monday May 23rd around 2pm, I was called by Gardoo and informed that the sleepers weren't going to be delivered as promised because 'the delivery people had run out of time' meaning my friends had wasted a days holiday (which I had to pay for) and so had I. They promised to delivery Tuesday May 24th and the delivery company would unload for me save my friends booking another day off. Tuesday afternoon comes and the delivery company call me only to inform me that there was never an option for them to help unload and Gardoo made a false promise. The delivery company agreed to deliver morning of Wednesday 25th and send 2 men to unload for me. On Wednesday 25th, the delivery arrives with 1 driver who had no issue unloading himself, didn't even need my help and it was done within 10 minutes. This whole experience has cost me over £350 by paying for missed days and Gardoo have refused to compensate or even deduct the delivery charge. I would recommend NEVER using this company. They are unreliable and as pleasant as the customer service people are on the phone, they make no effort to make up for their mistakes by offering a gesture of goodwill. Terrible service!

We've purchased a number of consignments of gravel retention grids from Gardoo over the past couple of years, and the service has been excellent - arrives on the scheduled day or earlier, drivers always notified about instructions for delivery to a difficult site.

Really good company to deal with, delivery was on time and everything was very professional and quality of the product was great too. I spent hours trawling through the Internet and gerdoo kept coming up as the cheapest and showing lots of stock, thank you.

Second attempt to deliver the sleepers ordered and once again they didn't arrive! So another day wasted and false promises from this company. They are cheap for a reason, avoid this company. 29th April. In response to your reply, you failed to call me on the Monday to advise the order was re scheduled for the Monday, only for me to receive a call from homebase advising the order was on its way! This is despite me phoning you and emailing you to cancel the order? We then said we would accept the order providing the delivery driver could deliver without my assistance as I was at work, you advised that was fine and the order would arrive later that day, so my wife waited in for another 5 hours only for no delivery to be made? Please don't reply to comments placing the blame on the customer, you failed misebaly with this order as you have with many more. In the end we cancelled this order, no offer of compensation and blame pushed back on the customer. Poor service Also, its Interesting how all of a sudden you have a flow of good reviews on trust pilot which are all clearly written by the same person ! You recieved infrequent messages in last 6 months and then get a flurry of good reviews all sounding identical!! Read these reviews carefully before you purchase from gardoo!

Having read the initial few reviews about Gardoo, I was concerned as there seems to be differences across the board. However, I decided to give them a try and order some topsoil. It arrived on time and I have used this excellent product to great effect in the garden. We will definitely be using them again

First time ordering sleepers from Gardoo, delivery was slightly longer than originally thought however was kept informed with the progress which also gave me a bit longer for my preparations for delivery. Overall would recommend.

Absolutely awful service, I would advise anybody who are thinking of ordering from this company to think twice! We placed an order worth £600 and was notified it would be delivered to us by 7th April. We then received another email to say our delivery date had been changed to the 11th, we rang up to double check and they informed us it wasn’t the 11th but in actual fact, the 13th. We then rang AGAIN on the morning of the 13th to be told our delivery time slot was around lunch time. 1pm arrived and still no delivery… rang again to be told 2:30pm at the latest. However, on this phone call it was asked how we were going to remove the sleepers from the truck as they wasn’t loaded onto a truck with a tailgate so was unable to get them off the truck at our end. The the driver had refused to help with the unloading & as a result, couldn’t leave at kerbside despite confirming in the email that kerbside delivery was applicable to our order. Made a complaint to the manager & was advised the issue would rectify itself once our order had arrived. 4pm and STILL no delivery. My partner was supposed to be at work for 2pm but had stayed at home as was told our delivery was on the way. Called the company again at 4pm only to find out that our order had now been cancelled & rescheduled for the following day! Stressed and angry is an understatement, so much money has been spent only to be treated in this way. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Ordered 30 oak sleepers. About 20 of them are absolutely shocking. Can’t even use them. I know they are a natural wood but would expect some kind of quality control before they go out. Most of the ends have massive chunks missing and huge cracks.

AVOID - this company is a bunch of CON ARTISTS!!! They advertise free delivery and will then charge you hundreds!!! This was for soil delivery and they reply saying they offer free on these products - see their reply - they are con artists as they want to charge hundreds on a so called FREE delivery - COURT ACTION and CREDIT CARD COMPANY INFORMED They further respond stating talk with customer service which we have done and they still want to charge delivery of nearly £200 on a £280 order !!!!!!!!! You will note there are multiple complaints about this company and especially delivery issues. I can only repeat AVOID AND DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING - WE WILL GO THROUGH THE COURTS AND CRED CARD COMPANY TO GET A REFUNF PLUS ALL COSTS AND EXPENSES AVOID LIKE THE PLAQUE

Ordered 100l of bark. I HD to email on day of arrival to check when arriving. Then to be told there's no stock c.5 days after ordering it. If I hadn't I would never have heard anything day wasted staying in for a delivery that was never arriving but they didn't bother to tell me that. Still awaiting refund

They required two people at receiving end to take delivery of garden sleepers. At the last minute they rescheduled delivery. Will go with someone more reliable next time.

Highly recommend using Gardoo. Well priced, all as expected and really good communication throughout, especially from Vicky in the CS team - will def be using them again
