Feb 05,2021While not typically a review writer - I do feel compelled to report our excellent experiences with Dave Shulte and GoodLife. Dave is the consummate professional. Honest, thorough, knowledgable, and maintained a "can-do" attitude that we appreciated very much. We researched quite a number of companies prior to choosing GoodLife and could not be more pleased with the results. Obtaining a reverse mortgage can be an intimidating prospect - do yourself a favor and call Dave Shulte to get an honest and thorough assessment of your situation, and trust him to guide you through the process.

Dec 30,2020This is not my first endeavor into reverse mortgages. The comparison between my prior mortgage company and GoodLife is unfair because there really is no comparison. The service my mortgage officer,Chris Lee, provided was amazing! No question was unanswered. Non of my inquiries were treated as tedious or not important. the interest rate was high on my prior loan and Chris made sure everything was completed as fast as possible to save me money!

Nov 30,2020We checked online to get more information about how a reverse mortgage worked. We found "Good Life" and input our contact information on their website. We were contacted by their representative, Chris Lee. Chris was very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the process and provided us with the information that we were looking for. He was able to answer all of our questions before we even asked them! After we decided that a reverse mortgage was for us the entire process with Good Life from start to finish was amazing. They sent a notary to our home to sign the necessary paperwork on the application in the beginning, and also to facilitate the closing at the end. Once the closing papers were submitted (on a Friday afternoon) we received the money in our bank account the following Wednesday. Chris remained in constant contact with us and he always responded immediately to any questions that we had. He took time to get to know us and we never felt like we were being pushed or rushed. He made us feel like we were the most important customer he had. Overall the process was much easier than we thought. We would recommend Good Life to anyone!

This seemed an overwhelming and traumatic task with all the paperwork and requirements, but Dave did it step by step and kept in close contact, and it went so smoothly. I particularly liked that he explained what each step was doing, which made it so manageable. An really excellent experience!

Nov 24,2020Chris Lee did a fabulous job of getting our refinance of our RML after contacting GoodLife based on a mailer we received. Process went very smoothly without a hitch and we were never contacted by our original broker to same us the money on interest and get our credit line increased. Would recommend GoodLife to anyone interest in getting a reverse mortgage loan.

Nov 21,2020In my search to find out information and get proposals for a reverse mortgage, my first call was with Dave Schulte with Goodlife Home Loans. Dave informed me about the whole process and every step. He was very friendly and was very quick with mailing the proposal. After talking with several companies and getting their information, I decided to go with Dave. Unlike some of the other companies I spoke with, Dave did not try to pressure me into anything and was not a hard sell. I really appreciated that and his detail oriented approach in layman's terms. He has guided me through the whole process and has made sure all of my questions are answered. I could not have made a better decision! I cannot give higher praise than I do for Dave Schulte.

By paying our interest only every month we are able to keep the mortgage balance the same and STILL have funds available! This was the smoothest refi we have ever done. Dawn is efficient, courteous, and prompt. You can't do better!
