Ours was a little tricky because of some past financial problems that we had, but Kathy helped us relentlessly deal with all of our issues,, and helped us with solutions for every problem. We are grateful to Kathy,, and to Good Life for helping us navigate this process and end up with the loan we needed to make our retirement more enjoyable.

Dec 10,2022Kathleen Pritchett, from the start of my refinance until the completion, she was with me every step of the way. Her answers to my questions were always concise. Informed me about the documents which I needed to furnish, when other documents I needed to sign, to furnishing me with the name and phone so I could make an appointment with the person who be notarizing the loan/mortgage documents. Gave the exact date and the amount which I would be receiving after everything was approved. Kathleen is friendly, knowledgeable, quick to return calls, respond to emails/text when promised.

After that first call, I went with Goodlife and Dave Schulte because he explained the working of a reverse mortage in a way I easily understood making it very comfortable for me. All through the process Dave was easy to talk to, always called when he said he would and promptly returned my calls and was very patient with me taking the time to explain things to me that I didn't quite understand. Thanks to Dave's patience and consideration the loan went through quite smoothly. I would definitely recommend Goodlife and Dave Schulte to anyone. Thank you Dave for making an experience that I was very nervous about a comfortable and pleasant one!

Sep 22,2022There is no shortage of companies and agents offering Reverse Mortgages or home loans in 2022. We had the good fortune to talk with Dave Schulte of GoodLife Home Loans early in our search for some homeowner help. After quite a few calls with other lenders, we decided to use GoodLife because of Dave's knowledge and understanding not only of the processes used but more importantly our personal situation and how the process would be impacting us and what we needed to do to best prepare ourselves. In the end this helped us get through the inevitable discouragements and challenges awaitng newcomers. And they came, week after week we were delayed by some type of technical detail from the documentation demands to the appraisal process to insurance verification but each and every time Dave was able to clearly guide us to another success and eventually to the completion of our home loan. Thank you Dave Schulte and to your very capable teammates like Hope Franco and others who brought humanity to the table and helped us with this stressful task at a time when we most needed it. Aug 28,2022I had an existing Reverse Mortage that I decided was time to refinance to pull out some equity to pay off credit card debt and do some renovations to the house. Goodlife Home Loans was one of the lenders out of 6 that I reached out to for a quote on rates and fees. Goodlife Home Loans was fairly reasonable on fees and seemed to answer all of my questions without a lot of pressure and not being overly aggressive with me to commit to them. Any company is only as good as the employees that work for them. And the only reason that I chose to refinance my mortgage with Goodlife Home Loans was the total professionalism of the loan officer that I did business with Dave Schulte. Mr. Schulte, from the initial exploratory conversation all the way through closing of the new loan, put us at ease, provided honest insight, guidance, fully answering questions, never overstating expectations, freely imparting his broad-based knowledge and expertise, and always being the ultimate professional.

His guidance helped facilitate the process in terms of completing the necessary protocols in a timely fashion. The follow up and follow thru from GoodLife was quick and easy to understand. The documents were explained to us in a plain english fashion. Initially my wife was a bit nervous about the process and by the time the Mortgage was closed she was extremely comfortable and enthusiastic. Neither my wife or I have any complaints with Daves team in guiding us thru an initially mysterious procedure. Well Done!
