I learned about Reverse Mortgages many years ago when I was in the mortgage business. I saw how we helped financially hurting elderly homeowners to keep their homes and live with dignity. Fast forward to now and I found myself needing to have a reverse mortgage because my social security check would be eaten up paying my mortgage, utilities, insurances, and food every month. That's when I decided to get my own reverse mortgage. I went online and found Good Life Home Loans that specializes in reverse mortgages. My loan officer, Kolleen Winsborough, was always patient, understanding,and very helpful in working with me to clear conditions. I can't say enough about her. It was a long road with a very happy ending. She was always available with answers to my questions, and if unavailable would always get back to me in a timely manner. Thank you Kolleen!

The representative I worked with, Scott Sherman, was amazing! He explained everything to me, and apologized for any "hang-ups" we experienced. By hang-ups, I mean delays. It did take a long time, over 3 months, to complete. The rep kept me aware of what was going on regularly. The specific problem came from the appraisers who didn't do their job completely. Other than that, it was quite painless. Again, my representative was awesome!
My representative for GoodLife, Kathy, was very helpful from first contact. She was readily available to answer my questions and did so in a manner that was very clear to understand. She kept in good contact, letting me know what was happening with the progress of my loan status. All in all, it was a very good experience.
I used GoodLife to refinance my existing reverse mortgage through AAG. This experience was drastically different as my Loan Officer, Kathleen Pritchitt was very knowledgeable and helped me to understand so much more than before. In addition, GoodLife does not charge many fees so I received much more money - my original RM had $16k+ in closing fees deducted from my initial disbursement.
Dave went above and beyond for us. Made the complicated something we could understand. But the best part was easy access to him. Just a phone call away. Prompt returned calls. Well Done.
Dave Schulte my loan officer kept me sane, and was a great guide through a jungle of red tape. He explained simply, what is complex. We made it together, and he is still ready to help me.
I contacted three companies, AAG, Liberty and GoodLife. After receiving original paperwork I had a personal problem and told all three I would need a month before I would do anything. AAG Haunted me all month. Dominick from your company acknowledged and offered help. I then contacted and asked for up to date figures AAG Sent old figures. Dominick sent up to date. His approach to me was such that I felt respected, no question his customer service is one of the main reasons I chose GoodLife. I then dealt with Dawn Klein who again was efficient and caring. I had originally been told the process could take 8 to 10 weeks due to the high volume. It took 31 days. I would be pleased to highly recommend Dominick Rodriguez and GoodLife to everyone who needs this service.
