Chris is wonderful. I know, even though my reverse mortgage loan has closed, that I still can call Chris and count on him to answer any concern I may have.

Jun 05,2020I am pleased to say that getting my reverse mortgage from GoodLife and with the constant support of my mortgage specialist, MIKE MAFFE, that I am now able to relax and enjoy my home once again. For anyone thinking of getting a reverse mortgage, I would encourage you to investigate GoodLife, learn about the process. Before I talked with Mike, my thoughts were that it was not for me- I had heard the "stories". I did take time to talk with my son and really think about how a reverse mortgage would work to my benefit. Mike was incredible, he answered all questions immediately and gave me the information to help me understand how a reverse mortgage, with a line of credit would be the best option for me. I felt confident and secure that I was not going to be ripped off! Mike was with me every step of the way and it was the easiest process I have ever had with a lender. My retirement plans did not go as I had expected and the reverse mortgage from GoodLife was the best option for me to continue to live in my home of 16 years. I have expressed to Mike that I would be happy to talk with anyone about my experience with Good Life!

May 21,2020We had gone through about a year of research and discussion on whether this was a prudent financial decision .There are many lenders providing this service and we wanted to feel comfortable with our choice and more importantly we wanted a company we could trust. We decided on GoodLife and Dave Schulte, their mortgage specialist. Dave did an outstanding job throughout the whole process, even when we would throw up roadblocks he stayed on course. The process was well orchestrated and efficient, and Dave kept us updated during every step. We were surprised about how quickly the process went, and the required documentation requests were reasonable. We had proposals from other companies and Goodlife's package was far better. Their initial “good faith estimate” changed very little by the time we closed in comparison to the competition who changed our numbers twice in a short period of time. It has been about a month since we closed, and we have no regrets about choosing Goodlife and Dave Schulte. If you are considering a reverse mortgage contact them and get a proposal, and I believe they will do what it takes to get it done.
