Oct 03,2019Our agent Mike Maffe was informative, in constant contact with us to answer all our questions and went to higher authorities when unsure of the answer.( The sign of a confident agent). Mike Maffe found a way to refund our appraisal cost in the form of a credit in the closing cost. Thank you very much. At the last minute flood insurance was required and we did not have the one year premium that must be paid in advance, Mike Maffe found a way to have his company pay it for us so the loan could proceed. Well done team Goodlife Home loans. Besides signing enough paperwork to choke a horse,and I am still unsure if I owe someone my first born or not. He was very responsive and quick to return calls to any and all of my questions. I received HECM quotes from two other mortgage companies and Goodlife Home Loans had the best quote by far! We closed in a very timely and professional manner. Dave was great with his personality and expertise on every step of the way. We live in Texas and we did the entire process either by phone or email. We felt like VIP's as the signing process was done in our home by professional people on time and knowledgeable of the process.
