We look after the legal side of residential property sales, purchases and remortgage. We act for corporate clients, 'High Street' Lenders and individuals wishing to change their mortgage product from one brand to another.
We are based in Maidenhead but provide services to customers and clients nationwide. We are available for personal meetings with our local clients and available on the phone for our clients who are based elsewhere in the country.

Aug 09,2024Absolutely shocking, again. Previous mortgage used this company and was so bad I took out complaint which was upheld. Unfortunately current remortgage used them as well. Thought they cdnt be as bad twice - Nothing changed in 2 years and now just about to place another complaint. Their communication the last 3 months has been really poor and now mortgage has completed I find they have used the wrong figures by £10k for the new mortgage yet are taking no responsibility whatsoever for addressing this nor forwarding the surplus amount over a week later! DO NOT USE THEM

Aug 08,2024We bought our house in September 2018 and nearly 6 years later, we still don't have the freehold to our property. Firstly, a document that was required for completion was left unsigned by the other party, meaning completion took place when it shouldn't have at all. Secondly, GPL didn't even realise this was the case until I chased to ask why we hadn't get received our deeds. Endless hours of phonecalls to them and HM Land Registry and endless amount of stress has resulted from such a poorly run solicitors. I am so disappointed in the level of unprofessionalism. When you call, no one seems to know what they're doing and main solicitor on your case never calls or emails you back. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. On the 4th September it will be exactly 6 years until we "completed" on our home. After that, I will be contacting another solictor and taking these to court. They take your money and then do not follow up any outstanding issues. You case is just put into the archive, never to be looked at again.

Aug 07,2024Maria did a fantastic job, it felt like such an easy process to re-mortgage. I even got my completion date wrong and Maria sorted it out no problem. I had an awful time with my solicitors when I purchased my house and I wish I had used Gordons!

Aug 22,2024The solicitor dealing with the remortgage was Annabelle Zaychenko, whilst it was just another job and she was acting for the mortgage company and not ourselves, she undertook the professionally, timely and efficiently. As a remortgage for bridging loan purposes time was important and the process was made without any undue hassle
