We look after the legal side of residential property sales, purchases and remortgage. We act for corporate clients, 'High Street' Lenders and individuals wishing to change their mortgage product from one brand to another.
We are based in Maidenhead but provide services to customers and clients nationwide. We are available for personal meetings with our local clients and available on the phone for our clients who are based elsewhere in the country.

Oct 11,2024Unfortunately my experience of trying to buy a flat in London with Gordons has been pretty terrible. I've bought quite a few properties in the past and this was easily the most stressful experience so far. To cut a long story short they were a bad combination of being achingly pedantic, slow to respond, extremely unhelpful in responses to questions, and got quite verbally aggressive at one point. It felt as though they were doing everything they could to prevent the purchase going through. The sellers solicitors were equally unimpressed. It's a big company so you may be lucky, but I'd advise anyone thinking of using them to look elsewhere.

Oct 08,2024We recently purchased our first property via Gordons and from start to finish they were extremely helpful and answered or explained any of my queries. Exchange and completion was very smooth and I dealt with mainly Annabel and Charlon who always responded to my emails swiftly. Considering there was quite a delay on our purchase due to an issue the sellers end, once it was fixed, we had to complete quite quickly and it was all sorted in line with the date we had in mind. I would happily use Gordons again in the future.
