Installation was handled quickly and efficiently, being done within an hour of the engineer arriving. This was followed up by a courtesy call with an advisor who was friendly and great to talk to. I can honestly say I would be happy to recommend Grain to anyone looking for broadband at a reasonable price.
Been a customer for nearly a year , great at first , then experienced slow speeds march last year customer service was good and problem was sorted ,then this week happened again 5mbps download . Speeds just randomly dropping out making all WiFi devices play up , got on to grain customer service chat service to get no answer from customer service so went through technical instead , for Daniel to constantly suggesting my devices are at fault ,constantly asking me what make my devices are and constantly getting me to do speed tests , in the end after over an hour I quit as was fed up with going round in circles , next day try again to get the same results with customer service no response other than a generic email and low and behold I got Daniel again in technical to go through the same as the day before and to get the same results . Then I get an email asking for screen shots of the speed tests as if I'm making it up , I've sent screen shots to hear nothing back I've also sent more today , my speeds have how been randomly dropping out for 6 days and grain doesn't seem to know why or really care .
Switching was very quick and easy. Saving loads compared to previous provider (and more than double the speed) Set up was great, lad who came to install was very quick and friendly. Respected property and cleaned up after himself. Router is a bit bulky compared to previous providers but it's not too bad.
Installation process was very swift, and connection has been great so far.

Sam our Engineer came to install our new router, was very helpful and very clearly. She arrived 30 mins before scheduled time and cracked straight into installing our new router. So far no issues with the WiFi

Just rang up to switch and had the absolute pleasure of speaking to (he claims his name is Ryan although he may be avoiding future calls backs) he was so patient with me as I was struggling with understanding anything after a night shift. Anyway he put up with me for just under an hour, explaining how things would work, booking things in, sorting out the switch, reassuring me as I am easily confused and just generally having a laugh with it. This experience has definitely sold the switch to me even more plus having the UK call centres with long waits to speak to a human being

Jan 18,2025An engineer named Salman visited to assist with my broadband installation, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received. From the moment he arrived, he demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise. Salman took the time to explain the entire installation process in clear detail, making sure I fully understood what would be involved. The installation required moving some porch slabs to lay the broadband cable, which initially caused me some concern. However, Salman was incredibly reassuring and handled the situation with great care, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. His friendly demeanor, along with his expertise, really made a difference, and I felt confident that everything was in good hands. As for the broadband speed, I signed up for the top-tier package, but so far, the fastest speed I’ve received is 459Mbps. While this is still excellent, I understand that it’s been less than a week since the installation, so I’ll continue to monitor the speeds and see if they improve further. All in all, I’m very pleased with the service and would highly recommend it. Salman’s exceptional customer service and professionalism are a real asset to the company!
