Dec 16,2023I primarily dealt with Andrew from sales and he was easy to get in touch with and always called back. David, one of the installers, kindly called me a few weeks prior to install to discuss the job as he had reviewed pictures I had sent. The guys (Calum & David) arrived on time and gave me a call 45 mins before arriving. Both very polite and assessed the job themselves as there was no survey done prior to install due to my location. Talked me through exactly what they were going to do, as well as answered my questions about the job - both very knowledgeable and helpful. Carried out the job perfectly and ensured all vents were covered with wire brush to save the insulation beads covering my vents in my crawl space. I went under the house with Calum and he was happy to show me what he had done to cover the vents. Wouldn’t have known they were here when they left - left my property exactly as they found it, cleaned up after themselves and were happy to chat to me about other improvements I can make to my home before they left. They even matched the mortar to fill the holes to the colour of my external walls. A bit of back and forth between myself and sales to sort out the final invoice to reflect the total area insulated which was less than the quoted area, but again the team were prompt in getting back to me and sorted it out. Cannot fault the team whatsoever. Thanks so much again for the excellent service and workmanship.

Dec 09,2023From begining to end everyone we talked too was friendly, helpful and efficient. Any questions or issues along the way we're quickly dealt with. There was a slight delay because of the weather but the work was quickly rescheduled a few days later. On the day the chaps worked quickly , were polite and pleasant and left no mess. After being let down by another company we are very glad we found Green Home Systems and would recommend them to anyone.

The local manager and installers were determined to get it done right, and were professional throughout. Good customer service.

Nov 09,2023Outstanding / top marks / what a team. I used Green Homes for internal wall insulation and the team were brilliant from start to finish. Would have no issues using them in the future. After a few issues with another company I had in for the floor insulation, this team helped restore my faith in tradesmen. They did the work to a high standard and left me extremely impressed. They told me what work was out standing or what snagging had still to be done. Cleaned up after themselves and focused on doing a perfect job and making sure i was happy with the completed work. Stevie and Boab done most of the work. Great wee double act and it was easy to chat and get a laugh with them. True asset to Green Homes this wee team. Spoke to Callum a few times and again nothing was an issue. Plasterer they sent was great also. Great value for money also. Won a watch with this service. Only regret was not using them for the floor insulation!

The installation guys did a great job with our cavity wall insulation and were thorough in tidying up behind them.

Oct 21,2023Firstly had a cistern repaired and i was so impressed had Mark back to put in mixer taps. This company is both professional in their customer care/communication and very efficient. Mark is of an approachable cheerful lad, nothing too much bother. I would highly recommend this company. They will now be my go to plumbers.

Sep 27,2023A representative visited our home a few weeks ago, he explained we may be entitled to air-source heating and Solar panels under a Government Scheme. We had heard this from at least 3 other companies, but we thought we had nothing to lose. The office of Green Home Systems contacted us to arrange surveys etc. and everything was fitted the week beginning 12 09 23. The staff are first class polite and assisted us in every way possible, we could not be happier, If you are thinking of having the same system fitted either with grant aide or not, you will not do better than to go to Green Home Systems.

Sep 25,2023We applied for an Eco Grant and it was given to Green Home Systems. Great Choice. From application to completion was less than a month. 1st Insulation in the attic. Great team and very neat and tidy. Hoovered when finished. 2nd Solar Panels and all associated electrics. 2 teams. The roof team were brilliant, all knew what and when to do things. All completed,10 panels in an afternoon. The electrics team were excellent, Matthew, Jamie and Gregor. Floor all covered and everything cleaned when finished. All in all took less than a day from start to generating electricity. 3rd Air Source Heat Pump (Contracted to Matchless Gas) Great team led by Casper. Again all property was respected and cleaning was all done everyday. (They don't box in pipework is the only minor complaint) 4th Boxing In team. Paul and Josh were fabulous and boxed in the afforementioned pipework brilliantly having had to cut the mdf in the rain outside! Many thanks to Matthew in the office who spent ages answering and sorting my questions and queries and special mention to Connor of the Solar Team (office based) who again had to put up with me without losing his patience. Thank you all As a company I would definitely recommend.

Aug 30,2023From the moment of first contact, I was assigned Michael Brown as the renewables consultant. Michael was very knowledgeable and his recommendations were sound for the property needs. A proposal was received immediately, and solar PV installation date arranged quickly once HES approval was received. The installation of 12 panels, battery, solar hot water system and cabling was done efficiently by an expert team of engineers who were all very good at their job. The only negative experience is when dealing with the office - obtaining technical support from Connor required numerous phone calls, which along with emails were not returned. Obtaining an accurate MCS certificate took 2 weeks, which delayed the switch to a suitable export tariff - the office and administrative work could be easily sped up to improve the overall experience.

Can't fault the company, from first contact to completion, very knowledgeable, polite and work to schedule, the engineers even clean up and take away all the packaging. I would have no problem recommending these guys and would use them again.

The survey was smooth and the advice provided by Michael was expert and helpful. The installation was seamless and I was very impressed by the steps the team took to keep my house clean despite the drilling etc. I received the relevant paperwork very quickly afterwards and am now happily experiencing 0 electricity bills and bonus export income, too. Aug 23,2023No pressure from surveyor, just interested in giving you the best system to suit your needs. Installation went well, electricians and roofers kept us informed what was required to do the solar pv installation. All packaging and debris remove from the house. Great job overall.

Aug 20,2023I contacated this company regarding installation of solar panels; the team at green home systems were very efficient from first point of contact through to installation and after sales queries I had. The panels look great and I paid an additional cost for bird skirting which gives a really nice finish. I would definitely recommend adding the bird skirting on to your quote! Special mention to the surveyor Michael who came out to see us and assisted us with the loan funding, and Connor who helped us set up the octopus tariffs. I would not hesitate to use this company and have recommended their services to other friends and family.
