Nov 28,2024I had a gastric sleeve on 15th October 2024. The staff at the hospital are so friendly and professional. the hospital itself was extremely clean which helps ease nerves. The nurses were very attentive and supportive. Doctor/surgeon checks in with you before and after surgery to make sure everything is smooth and ok. The surgery itself is quick. the gas pain is very intense when you wake up but the more you walk the easier it gets. Within 2 days I was out shopping. My coordinator who was amazing organising everything for me was Ata, fully recommend his services. - even 6 weeks post op he’s checking in on my progress. If anyone is thinking of the surgery, I’d say yes go here!

Nov 28,2024I had my surgery on Saturday 23rd November, performed by the amazinf Dr Ergin Arslan. I cannot recommend this hospital enough - the time and effort made into ensuring I was safe for surgery and arranging appropriate and tailored care and medication post operation for me specifically just showed how caring and focused my surgeon was. I was terrified of the surgery before I went but Dr Arslan put my mind to ease and visited me everyday. After surgery the nurses were amazing - I do not specifically remember the name of the nurse who helped me (she wore white and rainbow coloured Crocs with a tattoo of a heart and a brain on her arm and had glasses), after surgery she helped me get dressed, washed my face for me, helped me go to the bathroom and held me as I walked for the first time - again, care was second to none. The hospital staff were absolutely amazing and I cannot thank the nurses and Dr Arslan enough for giving me the chance at this new life with my sleeve ♥️ My co ordinator Devrim was amazing at arranging everything and responding so quickly he has been so helpful! He helped me at all hours of the day and organised everything efficiently. I also want to thank Nilsu for her amazing communication and organisation - I messaged her so many questions and she always responded and got back to me quickly. She was absolutely amazing and again, I am so grateful for Nilsu and Devrim! Overall a fantastic hospital and cannot explain enough how many lies / fear mongering have been made up by people. This hospital is amazing, the care is top of the range, it is so clean and modern and I would definitely come back in the future if I needed any further procedures!

Nov 26,2024My surgeon and his team and my account co-ordinator. I was scared and anxious and they certainly made me feel relaxed. I chose my surgeon DR Mehmet Deniz, I researched him alot and I highly recommend him to anyone who is contemplating surgery.

Nov 26,2024ich bin super happy mit meiner neuen nasen. es sind jetzt 2,5 wochen nach operation und ich bin jetzt schon total zufrieden. besonders bedanken möchte ich mich bei duygu. sie plante vor der operation alles und war jederzeit für fragen oder anliegen erreichbar. wir sind auch weiterhin im kontakt und sie fragt nach meinem wohlbefinden. insgesamt würde ich es immer wieder tun und habe mich sowohl im krankenhaus, als auch im hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. danke danke danke !! 🤍

Nov 25,2024I had a gastric sleeve on 18/09/2024. I wanted to wait a while before giving a review as I wanted to see how recovery went. I had the amazing dr mehmit deniz who I met in london back in April and I just knew in my gut that he was the surgeon for me. It took me a year of doing my research and actually having the surgery done. I honestly couldn’t be happier… the team were amazing! I had victor with me from start to finish who explained everything with care and passion. My first point of contact was with Busra. She was so on it with any questions I had and I felt she really cared about my worries! Two nurses that looked after me deserve a mention also, uma and ester! They were so lovely and so friendly and nothing was too big or small of a problem… so thank you! My stay from start to finish was really well organised, everything was explained thoroughly and dr deniz came and saw me every day after surgery! I’m not going to lie, the pain after surgery was like nothing I’ve ever experienced… however, once pain relief was topped up, and I was up and walking, it definitely eased with time! I have had no problems since surgery and feel absolutely amazing! I couldn’t of picked a better surgeon and team, so THANK YOU!

Meine Koordinatorin Gokcen hat mich super begleitet durch den ganzen Prozess und immer wieder nach meinem Wohlbefinden gefragt. Für Fragen waren alle immer stets offen und haben mir diese zeitnah beantwortet. Der Arzt Serkan Gokpinar ist super kompetent in seinem Element und sehr sympathisch. Mit einem Dolmetscher konnten wir antworten auf alle Fragen erhalten und ich bin super zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis.

Nov 25,2024My Gastric Sleeve Journey. My journey at Baypark Hospital was a mix of positive and negative experiences. While the staff, particularly Fatima, were incredibly welcoming and supportive, language barriers and a few unsettling incidents marred my stay. The initial arrival was positive, and the accommodations were comfortable. However, the ultrasound process was painful and rushed, causing unnecessary distress. The endoscopy experience was also confusing, and the suddenness of the surgery left me feeling unprepared. The surgical experience itself was undoubtedly the most frightening, with the unexpected physical restraint causing significant anxiety. While the surgery was successful, the post-operative pain was severe, and the recovery process was emotionally taxing. The nursing staff was attentive, and the medical team provided adequate care. However, the food provided for companions was subpar and led to illness. Additionally, the presence of a large cockroach in the bathroom was both unsanitary and unsettling. Despite these challenges, the overall experience, particularly the support from Fatima and the other patients, made the journey worthwhile. The opportunity to undergo this life-changing surgery and the kindness of the staff were truly invaluable. Sunday 29th December 2024 update. Gozde International Hospital - Updated Review I'm writing to update my previous review for Gozde International Hospital at Baypark Istanbul. I underwent gastric sleeve surgery there and, initially, my review may have reflected the pain and regret I experienced in the immediate aftermath. However, 5 and a half weeks later, I'm feeling fantastic! My initial concerns have completely faded. I'm incredibly positive about my decision and incredibly grateful to the entire team at Gozde. Batu, my medical consultant, has been an invaluable source of encouragement and support throughout my journey. His guidance and reassurance have been instrumental in my recovery. My weight loss has been significant, and I'm thrilled with the progress I'm making. The surgery itself was a success, with zero complications. My incisions have healed remarkably well and are barely noticeable. I'm extremely pleased with the overall services I received at Gozde. The level of care and professionalism exceeded my expectations, and I believe the surgery was well worth the investment. In fact, I'm so impressed that I'm even considering returning to Gozde next year for skin removal surgery once I've reached my weight loss goals. I highly recommend Gozde International Hospital to anyone considering weight loss surgery.

From the very start, she has been approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping me navigate this process. She has gone above and beyond to ensure I have all the information I need, answer any concerns I’ve had, and guide me through the steps leading up to the procedure. Her professionalism and kindness have made what could have been a stressful experience so much easier. I truly appreciate all the time and effort Nazlıcan has put into supporting me, and I feel reassured knowing she’s there for me as I move forward. Highly recommended!

Nov 20,2024Having surgery performed by Dr. Damla Özdemir was the best decision I ever made. Although I initially had fears due to the common perception that rhinoplasty surgeries are difficult and challenging, my doctor’s warm demeanor, approach, and the reassuring answers she provided to all my questions helped me overcome those fears. Contrary to the negative stories often told, my experience was remarkably smooth and painless. I was able to return to my normal life as early as the fourth day after the surgery. Additionally, the supportive attitude of the hospital staff, the cleanliness, and the excellent facilities of the hospital significantly enhanced my overall experience. I am deeply grateful to everyone who took care of me during this process, especially my doctor.

Nov 20,2024In a single sentence: It was extremely organized and professional from the beginning to the end. I went with my sister from USA. We both had a gastric sleeve procedure. The doctors and nurses were great. Everything went exactly according to the plan they had laid out for us when I initially communicated with them. We had a dietitian to help us understand everything. The facility was clean. We only spoke in English but there were translators always available. Some advice: Travel with a companion. It’s a long trip at least for us. Also bring your own pillow and toiletries. It’s a hospital not a hotel.

Nov 18,2024I had my nose a year ago in Izmir by the lovely and very talented Dr. Damla Nihan Özdemir, the hospital was state of the art, it was run smoothly and I felt in safe hands. You also get a chaperone who helps explain things and sorts out transportation etc, mine was Batuhan Yetki who was lovely. I would highly recommend this hospital and surgeon to others.

From the moment I walked into the clinic, I felt welcomed and at ease. Dr. Damala took the time to listen to my concerns and expectations, providing expert advice and guidance throughout the process. The procedure itself was smooth, and I was amazed at how minimal the discomfort was. The recovery was quicker than I anticipated, and the results are absolutely stunning! My nose looks natural and perfectly complements my facial features. Dr. Damala's skill and attention to detail truly shine through in my results. Nov 18,2024I beg you to stay away from Gozde Hospital and Doctor Vugar Alakbarov I went to this surgeon on the hospitals recommendation having had a good experience at Gozde Hospital with a gastric sleeve previously ..on my return visit it was so clear standards had gone down massively !!! In a nut shell they booked me in with a surgeon who by his own admission didn’t do facial work much .. yet the hospital convinced me to go ahead and refused a refund or alternative doctor I will always regret this decision !and seems there are many of us !! .. I had a chin implant which is displaced so badly it’s towards one side of my face and causes me pain daily and makes my face look deformed .. and uneven eye lid lift and a forehead reduction which is not only uneven but left train track scars so large due to unnecessary large stitches .. had 8 painful and expensive lazer treatments on my forehead scars to no Avail I was left on a children’s ward!! A plastic surgery patient in a see of screaming poorly children!! The after care was shocking and I had to call for nurses and painkillers repeatedly. I was basically totally forgotten about. No one checked on me and I certainly never saw the surgeon again !! The organisation was also shocking, the price changed twice once I arrived to the hospital and so did my surgery date. I was so messed around, and then after surgery I was suddenly kicked out of the hospital a day earlier than told I would be leaving me stranded as i had no hotel booked!! I complained to my consultant on what’s app about being on the children’s ward and lack of care and organisation, she just left my message on read with no reply! Basically once they had your money they DO NOT CARE !! Gozde are blaming the doctor for my poor surgery and even though I booked directly through them are saying they won’t help with any revision because he doesn’t work there anymore ! No one will take any responsibility and certainly don’t wish to help I am being ignored, what’s app messages left on read and not answered ! Emails sent and ignored My chin is so bad I have been walking around with a facial deformity for over a year!! I have contacted them weekly with photos and begged them to help and just been ignored and rudely spoken to !! Next week I am having to pay for revision elsewhere out of my hard earned money so it’s cost me my health, looks and a LOT of heartache as well as money Please please stay away there are much much better surgeons and Hospitals out there !

I've had a nose job, in October 2023, year has passed, still healing it is a long process but I am extremely happy with my results, should of done it sooner! Highly recommend!

Nov 28,20247 weeks post gastric sleeve! I’ve lost 4st in just 7 weeks! The experience as whole has been top tier! Ata has been nothing but a great support throughout my whole journey from them moment I enquired and until this very day he checks in and makes sure am doing okay if there is anything I need support with! My time in hospital over In Istanbuls baypark hospital I couldn’t fault either. ALL hospital staff were so attentive and done a great job especially working so many long hours! My surgeon has done a great job and when in the hospital came and seen me every day! His pre op test where so thurough! If you are thinking about doing this life changing procedure then go for it! It’s so worth it !
