Apr 17,2019I would just like to say a big thank you to the whole team at specialised hgv training from the first phone call and right the way through my training package so far the service as been excellent and the software package they provide you with for the threoy training is brilliant it as all the information you will need to pass. So if you are thinking of becoming an hgv driver then all I can say is give them a call they will help you with every step

Apr 14,2019Hi, From as customers service point Specialisd team is very good. Learning lessons are very easy to understand and easy to pass.. but training school they send for training they are absolutely Unprofessional. They do not respect you as person and don’t train you well.. just have concerns about the money.. it’s my personal opinion and I don’t training through Specialisd HGV.... so completely lack of professionalism and training is zero... this is my honest review

Mar 23,20191 before paying any money You should inform the people where in the country the training school are. 2 the books like the official DVSA guide to driving buses and coaches and Driver CPC should be included in the package. 3 the right e-mails should be sent to make sure that people arrive on time for their tests. 4 more information should be given on the structure on the lay out of Module 3 - Training and Test 5 discount should be given to people who pay cash up front. 6 this should only be sent out when all the sections have been completed 7 this is the second time this has been sent to me so how can I give a good response to something I have not done yet my course is in 2 weeks time as I said in number 6 should only sent out when finished the course 8 yet again no one in the company will phone you when the is a problem it proves this company only wants your money

Mar 23,2019Monika was my go to during the programme. She’s great and helpful however quite often does not get back to me. I would call and she would be on the phone so someone else answers and says they sit directly opposite so once she’s off the phone, they will get her to call me straight back. She did not phone back. Quite often emails wouldn’t be answered so I’d have to phone.

Mar 15,2019I was sold this training that I could fit it around my working hours and doing the computer based work for my theory and hazard perception test I could but when it came to driving all the problems started and their was no flexibility from Specialised HGV and all I got fired back to me was it's in the small print of the contract. Well it wasn't and eventually a compromise was made but it still meant me having to take time out of work. They don't actually have any vehicles and subcontract the driving to other training companies so might have been cheaper going direct to them. The text message system is very impersonal and doesn't work if you need different times/dates being offered. The offer of work is a load of rubbish as all they have done is passed my details to manpower recruitment I have had 3 emails and 1 phone call in 3 weeks none of which are to offer me work

Mar 12,2019I normally don’t write reviews unless I'm fully satisfied with the service. And I must say Specialised HGV have delivered what they promised. I have been doing courier deliveries for a couple of years and always wanted to be an HGV driver, spoke to Dale and he took me through what they call as HGV career programme. Honestly, it sounded too good to be true. Start training with £10? Is it a joke? But it’s a finance scheme. I had bad credit, so they helped me to do the application on my partner's name and start the course. The service has been very professional right from day one. I passed my test first time with 2 minors. One biggest advantage I found with specialized was the ability to put me through the manpower driver academy. This team helped me to update my cv and started sending them out to all the companies around me. Thanks, Rebecca again it was your efforts that helped me get a job. Highly recommends the programme if you’re looking to get into HGV driving. It's tough to find a job by yourself if you’re new but with specialized & manpower I was very pleased with what I received.
