Jan 21,2019They tend to favour communication via text which is fine if that works for you but I would rather speak to someone. If you do call, which I have done several times, they just come across as unprofessional. At the end of the day this is costing me a good few quid so I expect a more professional service and helpful staff, rather than making me feel uncomfortable for asking questions. The receptionist just answered the phone with attitude, which seemed to get worse when I asked for the guy I'd been dealing with.

Jan 18,2019only problem was the online training for the theory test. Although i passed first time there must of been about 30 questions in the test that were not in any of the training questions. I had to guess and to be honest was lucky to pass. Practical training was good and passed first time.

Jan 14,2019The company I was given to do my test with were great. The company was CTT in Leighton Buzzard. My instructor Bob was amazing and very helpful. I did have some issues with the texts from Specialised HGV training which confused me about my test time on the day of the test. My test was at 12:20pm but the text said 7:00am. This did cause me to panic however apart from that their service was great and they selected a great company to help me pass my HGV test first time.

Jan 04,2019Really UNHAPPY with service of this company. I book my hgv trainging in July 2017 class 1&2 at £4000. Nothing happened for a couple of months so got in contact with the company and ask when my theory test was going to be booked. Finally got my theory test book in December 2017. Passed. Then I had to contact the company again to say I had passed to them book my class 2 training and test in February 2018. Passed it and asked then for my class 1 to be booked. April 2018. And I also asked what happens with the jobs as when I first booked with the company I was told that they had jobs lined up for me when I passed, hence why I choose this company. Turns out this is false. They said someone will be in contact with me to help find me a job. No one called back so went on to my class 1 test, passed. Not even a well done from the company for completing my training or noticing I had done it. No contact was made to me after I messaged to say I had passed. No response! So I found my self a job through running around to different companies in my area. As it then turns out after finding you only provide a list of jobs on your website ( this is not what I was told when I book through your company, I was told you would setup interviews and have jobs lined up for me for when I pass my test) you don’t resources or advertise jobs any further past Bristol in the south west. So if you live in Devon and Cornwall you won’t ever find a job in your area. So I’ve paid for a service and training that I didn’t get like I was told or that I got promised. When book and deciding to complete my training through you. I’ve paid more than with you because of what I was promised, for when I could of gone local for less with a better service. Overall really let down.

Dec 20,2018I recently trained at your Swinton site. I was extremely happy with the whole service and experience. I would like to give a special mention to Reema who was extremely helpful at all times. She kept me up to date and was always pleasant and professional and gave me lots of support when I had first failed the exam. Would definitely recommend Specialised HGV Training. Very fast to take your money but get no support from them with the training tried to restart my course after 3 years due to money problems to be told my course had expired even though they still taking money off me had no phone calls about my course tried to get in touch with them and all you get is the same answer also to extend my course they want another £600 upfront what a total joke.

Dec 10,2018waited 3 months to get my class 2 lorry license before signing up they promise me they will find me a job straight away after my driving cards have come back which they now have arrived phoned up the recruitment agency for them to look for a job for me and they tell me there is no jobs going at the moment. What a complete con they took that much money off me and there is no job after all that time and hard work. Customer service dont even care as long as they get paid will never use again never can get through to anyone. They promise to phone you back which they never do COMPLETE CON AND A SCAM OF MY MONEY

Dec 05,2018This is a self study course and the material and online software are brilliant and flexible which allow you to learn at your own pace and however you want. The staff members and process of passing are smooth and easy and totally deserve 5 stars, however, trying yyo contact this company at times is complete unreliable. 100% contact in the beginning but once setup and left to study, the phone number you ring just constantly sends you to voicemail at most times and email is non responsive at times. 2 days of leaving messages and ringing and still no contact. Other tyhan this, would 100% recommend anyone going down this career route to use th is company for a smooth transition
