Hireup is an NDIS registered online platform for people with disability to find, hire and manage support workers who fit their needs and share their interests.
Using the app is super easy. Hireup staff are always on hand when I first didn’t understand pay process and bookings. So good being able to communicate and review bookings.
The experience with my Hire Up carers has been fantastic! I would really like to commend the services of my two carers who are both mature females and good drivers.
From a user obtaining services/supports experience: 1. Front end fairly easy to use but a few more search option refinements would be beneficial to minimise time spent through all results. 2. NON EXISTENT financial history/invoice records to retrieve and review past invoices etc. ZERO way to retrieve past invoices and charges for services from Hire-up. Seems to all operate outside of the Hire-up system to/for the end user. So overall not a comprehensive transparent tool - they charge you, but fail to provide accessible available financial history in the one tool/service. Even tried to use search tool in the system and no Q&A address this reality clearly. If there is a history of invoices/charges, it is not easy to find at all through Dashboard or Profile / My Account.

Hireup offer a well organised system to take up work offers. Wish there was more work in Hobart with your company. The pay rate exceeds most other companies. My only issue was a staff member wrote they were too busy to answer a question i messaged in once. I never did receive a written answer. This is a minor issue though. I love working with Hireup and hope more work comes my way. Thanks Hireup.

Hireup is more professional it’s protecting Support Worker and client as well. 24/7 email monitoring, if something inappropriate for Support worker it will deactivate client account They can talk on behalf of support worker. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hireup is an easy site to navigate.I had been trying to find support workers for my son who is on the spectrum,I looked through heaps of sites and when I found Hireup,it was easy to get started.You’re able to use NDIS fundings and look through heaps of support workers.Once you find the right support worker you can start with them straight away. Can’t fault Hireup at all
it is very smooth and easy to submit hours for shifts done and to navigate around to find information that you are looking for
Hireup is such a good platform! It has allowed us to get the support my brother needs effortlessly. Would recommend :)
Administration is difficult as there is no function for support workers to edit paysheet without asking client to reject it. Billing is in 15 minute blocks is also awkward. Not function to have “case notes” for clients.
Not understand
I am very disappointed with Hire Up. My husband had a stroke at the age of 51 - no previous health issues. This left him with no movement on his left side. Through rehab he has just started walking but still cannot use his left arm and leg. Hire Up was recommended to help us with his daily exercises and taking him out. I messaged 7 support workers. The first one responded quickly saying she was no longer available. Two took a few weeks to reply saying that they were no longer available. So waiting for them to reply wasted those weeks. Two have not replied at all. Of the other two which we connected successfully, both have moved to being an ABN or changed their availability so have become unsuitable. Very uncommitted workers and makes me wonder what the point of Hire Up is. It’s just a stepping stone to their own businesses.
I’m a relative newbie Hireup worker. Just love the ‘carer - client’ match up ability - to suit individuals needs. A fabulous App & Website platform - intuitive & easy to negotiate. Thank you Hireup.
Hireup have been very helpful in keeping me informed of tasks that I still have to perform and information that is relevant to my work.
