Aug 17,2022Using a Lifter there needs to be 2 support worker yet no knowledge about this is shown by Hireup because they didn't send a second support worker to help with the lifter. Yes, it can be used by one but work practices have brought a law in now that it is dangerous only using one support worker for the client and workers.

They let me know that they will always here for me but give me freedom to work independently. As someone with many years experience in the support worker field, I appreciate this “hands-off” approach.

Aug 04,2022Meet client at their house, went by taxi to therapy appointment. The client had hydro therapy for 1hour, then showered and help dress with another support worker. The transport by taxi to clients house.

Aug 02,2022So I have found Hire up very supportive and helpful, this is my first time setting up and using Hire up for work and everything has been pretty easy and straight forward. Some clients that advertise as needing support fail to respond to my messages this can be a little frustrating at times looking for work trying to reach out to book jobs.

Aug 30,2022Easy booking and confirmation done online. You only confirm when you’re happy with the person you choose to support, the hours, time and pay. You visit your client and do your required duties. Once finished, you have the App that prompts you to confirm your hours worked and other details. Your client then approves it and you get your pay straight in your bank which is paid fortnightly. Brilliant!!
