Jan 22,2025Part One: Amazing Customer Service... I purchased two bottles of CBD for my cat that had been experiencing ongoing anal gland issues causing him pain, stress and anxiety. I had never used CBD for a pet before, so I bought both flavors available, chicken and salmon. I tried the salmon for a few days and he was very reluctant to eat it so I switched to the chicken flavor and he loved it immediately. I reached out to customer support asking if it would be OK to exchange the salmon flavor for another chicken and I got the sweetest email saying they were sending me another bottle of the chicken flavor at no extra cost. So unexpected and so nice - they really went above and beyond! Part Two: The Product... About two years ago, my cat started having urinary tract issues that ended up lasting several months until I discovered it was a bladder stone. He had surgery to remove the stone and has not had any issues since, but I had to change him to an all wet food diet with water mixed into maintain proper hydration. After starting him on the wet food diet, his poop began to get softer and he started having anal gland issues about three months later. Those occurred monthly and increased in frequency and severity over the next year and it was clear that my baby was really suffering from pain, stress and anxiety. I decided to try CBD to manage the symptoms and I’m so glad I found HolistaPet! I really dug deep and did my research and this company had some of the best reviews out there - seemed very solid. I started giving him the CBD at the end of November (as well as adding psyllium husk to his food) and I have seen a steady improvement in his mood, his happiness and his playfulness. The episodes haven’t stopped completely, but the frequency has cut back to maybe once a month again and only for an hour or two instead of three or four days. The severity of the episodes has reduced to just being a little twitchy for a few hours, as opposed to hiding under chairs in pain and using the bathroom outside of the litter box! I am so thankful for this product and highly recommend it!!!
