I dont know how a shady and scam company like yours still exist in UK??? I mistakenly opted for your service and cancelled before even start billing, now you guys keep cancelling my electricity provider and connecting it with Rebel Energy UK another shady company. Why is that? Who gave you permission to change my provider without my consent??? Try denying it like you are doing for a month. I will seek legal help for sure for all the stress you are causing.

Avoid by all means. Charges you 15£ pm for “management fee”, and the worse part is that they charge the remaining management fee if you want to cancel your account with them. And to close the account, you need to pay the remaining management fee - so as long as you set bills up with them, you are bound to pay them 15£ pm no matter what, until end of tenancy.

WARNING: AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Despite rebranding to mask their appalling track record, beware of falling victim to their deceit. Following the closure of our account in June 2023, we were blindsided by an email in April 2024 claiming an outstanding bill. We had zero interaction with them during this period, having cut ties due to the end of our tenancy . All previous payments were made promptly and accurately. We have now been told we owe £91 per month despite the fact that we were already paying an estimated amount that fluctuates each month yet all payments were made during our tenancy.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY!! They’ve now changed their name to try and hide their terrible reputation, but please don’t be caught out. After closing our account with them in June 2023, we received an email from them in April 2024 stating that we have an outstanding bill?! We hadn’t had any contact with this company for any of the in between time, as we do not use them anymore, and all of our bills were paid on time with the correct amount when we were under them, so we thought that this was a scam from the get go. We got straight in touch with Citizens Advice who thankfully opened a case for us, and we have told Billing Better that without any physical evidence, you are not getting a penny out of us. It’s been 2 weeks since we told them this, and we’ve not heard a word from them since. Please don’t get caught out with this scam - believe me, you don’t owe them anything!!!

Council tax summons arrived today due to lack of payment from Homebox to my providers. I give money to them and send them bills and meter readings as soon as I receive them- they seemingly just don’t pay my providers on time. Happened with multiple utilities now. If this impacts my credit score then there is legal blame. Staff are trying to be helpful when they eventually respond but have asked for statements 3 times now as I’m sure I’m overpaying and they never provide this. Nice idea if they could actually do it but just pay direct as they haven’t got their business in order.
