Nov 01,2020Just wanted to leave a comment on how amazing our experience has been so far. My husband and I viewed a property with estate agent Jenny Ponder on 30th October. Unlike many viewings we have had with other estate agents, Jenny was so friendly , honest and super enthusiastic from the get go. Often our experience has been that we almost felt we were an inconvenience to the estate agent that was showing us round - but not with Jenny. She is passionate and was extremely respectful in her service to the vendor too - it felt very personal. Jenny said she would keep in contact with us throughout the day (which she did), she called when she said she would and she was organised, professional but totally approachable and friendly. We have been lucky to have had our offer accepted and will hopefully deal with Jenny throughout!

Always polite and friendly. We used Howkins and Harrison because we were so pleased with how they handled the sale of our own house four years ago.

Sep 26,2020Came down from Scotland for a gruelling week of house hunting in rural Northants, Beds and Bucks using a number of estate agents. I recognise the difficulty the COVID-19 pandemic has caused those involved with property sales and delighted to say all the agents we used were meticulous in managing viewings. I was particularly impressed with the performance of the staff at Howkins and Harrison. Very professional , knew their geographical area and were extremely helpful. Sadly for them I bought a house with another agent, no fault of theirs though. If I have to sell the house I’m buying Howkins and Harrison will receive the instruction. Particular thanks to Holly, Karen and Julian.

Emily and Jackie have been fantastic keeping the viewings going and us appraised through to completion. The team are the ones to choose if buying or selling in Ashby.

Mar 02,2020We have recently left a rented property with the rugby branch The fact that it is now 18 days after we've moved out and still have not gotten back our security deposit is ridiculous We've tried calling up and all they keep telling us is they'd look into it and get back to us but we'd never get a follow up ! Very unprofessional would not recommend renting from them especially after we left the property cleaner than when we arrived

Feb 06,2020I started renting a property 4 years ago with Howkins and Harrison, since being in the property we have completely re done the garden re decorated everywhere and re carpeted, recently we have had to move out the property due to a change in circumstance, we deep cleaned the house and carpets due to us being allowed to keep dogs. New tenants have been in the property for a week and complained about dog hair to which images have been sent with minimal dog hairs showing I am now being told out of an £800 deposit I was originally getting back only £195 and there will be more reductions due to the new tenants wanting the carpets re done! Absolutely appalled at this treatment we have improved the property and left it in a fit and clean condition and now being told a week after someone else had had the keys and moved in that I am still going to be charged for there mess! NOT HAPPY!!
