5 * definitely… Although the machines are HUGE as our facility is only small they are lovely and the tenants are thrilled. The sales staff were friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. The installation crew were amazing, polite and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. All in all a professional service from start to finish

An engineer came told me that tumble dryer is fine just needs a service. After his visit dryer stopped working and I found out that he didn`t even bother to hoover the machine inside during his service!!! I have been charged regardless of providing pictures plus they told me I need another visit and I had to pay again for call out!! It is now 4 weeks and no reply from customer services to my email. Suddenly after I posted this review someone phoned me and promised that customer service member will contact me soon. Unfortunately they didn’t! It is honest, detailed and accurate review. So I have edited my review after getting a full refund for both invoices. It is just a shame it took so long for JLA to admit they were wrong.

JLA have good physical customer service but very bad admin service. We have been trying to get our account separated from another business for 1 year to no avail.

We find using JLA gives us the security of knowing any breakdowns with the equipment will and is addressed immediately this allows a smooth running for our care home, nothing is to much trouble, Job sheets received in a timely manner, engineers polite and friendly, expaling what work has been carried out, can not fault them, massive well done to JLA

Jla has twice deployed inexperienced engineers to our site. The engineer on the first occasion included in his report "that a more experienced engineer is required to sort out fault" and yet I had to pay call-out charge. The second engineer was supposed to be changing the rollers on a T30 JLA dryer but he clearly was out of his depth. I have video recording on this engineer wondering around for over 1hour and still unable to repair. He clearly didn't know where to start. I was made to pay full cost of repair in full before engineer was booked. In my 23years on running Launderette, this is the first time i have seriously lost faith in the system of service company like JLA.

JLA are one of the worst companies I’ve had to work with. We were looking to hire a glass washer, a dish washer and a hot cupboard. Their sales person came to visit, measured and arranged our machines. They recommended we waited a bit longer for their new models that were replacing their older models. We agreed but explained we needed new equipment ASAP as our current equipment wasn’t up to scratch. There was a delay in the new models so we had other models installed in the meantime. The installation went well and the items were fine. We then had communication from their installation team to say the new items were here and would be ready for install soon. Then we received more communication saying the machines weren’t even in the country so wouldn’t be installed yet. How did the company not know this within their departments? Then they sent of their own engineers to install the new machines. They had travelled 3 hours to get to us for an 9am appointment but JLA had not even delivered the items. The engineers were understandable annoyed. They couldn’t even communicate within their own business so it should have been a warning about their communication skills as a company. Our hot cupboard was then delivered. We were told by the installation team that it would arrive on a van with someone who would help install the item into the premises. Instead it turned up on an HGV who’s driver was not employed to install, just deliver. So we had to get it in the premises ourselves. Then a little while later it stopped working so we had an engineer called out to fix it. At the point of hiring the three items we were told that the items were covered under their Total Care plan which meant all issues and repairs were covered yet not long later we received in invoice for £164.40 for the call out and repair. When we complained we were told we would be able to have some cleaning products as compensation, we put in an order and then we were sent an invoice for the items. When we queried this we were told the person who said we could have compensation didn’t have to authority to do so. We have since noticed an incorrect charge on our bank statement from JLA and have discovered they have been charging us for the first set of appliances and the correct appliances, this equates to around £2000 of incorrectly taken monies. The customer service team at JLA are the worst I’ve ever encountered. They promise phone calls back, it never happens, you call back and the person as left for the day, nothing has been escalated, we get no updates, we have to chase them and yet they continue to avoid us and continue to hold our money. We are now having to persue legal action, which as a small company we cannot afford. I am disgusted at how willingly they will ignore customers, take no responsibility for their actions, we have had no one from management phone to apologise, we’ve had no action plan for what they intend to do to return the money they have taken. It seems like they are now just being obstructive and purposely ignoring us.

Very polite staff on the phone, and Gaig sorting out the Washing machines and Tumble Dryes. As I am a Wiltshire Council Resident here, I am pleased that the work was sorted.

Offered the option to deliver 1 day early, which we accepted. Very smooth replacement for the hospital's industrial dryer, no mess, no fuss. Handed the dryer keys couple of hours after their van arrived, gave us a quick run through, and left manual. Also removed old machine, no fuss whatsoever. Thanks guys.

Communication between ourselves and the sales rep has been great. JLA have not constantly been getting in touch with us to find out if we are going ahead with the quotation or not, great service so far.
