Ignorant reception staff at Douglas Road When you spend tens of thousands on a new car you would not expect an ignorant interaction on arrival to the dealership. Overall I find the service advisors to be pleasant and genuine in trying to do what's best. Diagnosing issues does seem to be a weak point or at least could be more efficient, often requiring multiple visits to the dealership. It feels like the service department is under resourced - having to come back on a different day to complete works/recalls. Repeat visits for trivial issues. At times it does feel like there is pushback on any genuine warranty claims, perhaps that is coming from KIA Ireland.

From our first interaction with Aidan in J&P Mahon Point, it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Aidan was there with information and answered our questions, without being too pushy or anything of the sort. He was available everytime we called in the weeks before purchasing, was very fair in terms of the trade in and after sales issues.
