The salesman (Niall) was most helpful and kept me updated on the progress of my purchase.
The professionalism of staff at all stages, from booking of service to collection on completion of job. I was contacted to let me know additional work was needed and also given a total price in advance so no surprises on collection.

After 2 hours of a minor service with no update I had to go enquire how much longer only for the technician to come back to say brakes would need changing and would require a further 2 hours. To think that customers have the ability to wait for another 2 hours without prior notice shows zero appreciation for others time. To determine brakes are needed is a visual inspection that could have been done early in the service which would have given me time to maybe alter plans This is the 2nd car I had in for service in the last 3 months- the prior one took 50 minutes and was charged €175 labour. I have purchased 4 new cars from this dealer over the years- the sales personnel are excellent and up until now I was happy with the service department. Hugely disappointed in general and additionally as a long term customer

Staff are friendly 2 issues highlighted at service, one was discs the other was internal lighting not working, they rang me to speak about the parts needed so i just figured these items were fixed but the lighting is still not working which is painfull considering I drove down from galway for my service.
Prices are a little above average but i was happy to pay for a flawless car (second hand) and a smooth experience. Michael Walsh has been fantastic, answering all my questions and guiding me through the purchase . Very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend Johnson & Perrott Ltd
The before sales service was good but after sales very bad. Bought an outlander 201 and the day after I took it home noticed touch screen did not working. Brought it back the following week given appointment. Waited for 2 and half hours told couldn't fix as mitsubishi dealer would have to fix but that as under guarantee and should have been checked they would organise this and would let me know. Still waiting will have to contact again and try to get this sorted but shouldn't have to. bought on 9th November and still no touch screen. thank you Joan

Jan 05,2024I ordered a new MGZS in mid November 2023. I collected the MGZS on the 3rd of January 2024. I have to say that Johnson & Perrott ruined the experience of getting my new car. I was given the keys by Aidan and was gone in less than 5 mins. To find out the car was not set up and nothing worked in it. I had come down from Limerick to collect. The sat nav told me i was in Brussels and none of the features were turned on in the car. I had to ring when i got home and was sent a u tube video on how to get the MG app. Aidan did do a video call with me but still could not get it sorted. I was so upset and rang the following day several times with no one getting back to me and eventually the Manager Greg rang me at 12noon. To tell me take it to the Limerick garage. I did this I took it to Sheils in Limerick who were brilliant. They had to update the soft wear (on a 2024 car less than 24hrs old ) to get the sat nav to work. Enda in Sheils sat with me and showed me the apps in the car and how they worked. This was not done in Johnson and Perrott. I am disgusted that i was treated this way its very bad customer service. I have to complement Sheils on the time and patience they showed me when i didnt even buy the car from them. I would recommend if you are buying a new MG go to Sheils in Limerick as they will have the car set up when you collect it and your experience wont be ruined like mine was.
