May 18,20233 stars for long delivery times and aluminium shavings that were not cleaned off from the window after manufacture. A month after installation and I still find these shavings around the flat - not so great when you have a small baby crawling around.

Apr 17,2023Ordered a UPV door back in february. Immediately bombarded with multiple requests to write a review, even before receiving the product. Very aggressive marketing. I was given a delivery date, but it changed every time I spoke to them. Eventually given a three-day window, they happily specify a day, but of course it doesn't arrive on that day. The delivery driver sympathised with me, and said this company is the worst to deliver for, as they always give the customer false info and he has to take the rap. Door frame eventually arrived, only for me to discover the panels arrive separately, so cue another 3-day delivery palaver. Constantly given false promises of delivery times. So bear in mind even if you think you are ordering a door, you're not, you're ordering the constituent parts to build a door, and they all come from different manufacturers. Bizarrely, when the panels arrived they were wrapped up with a THIRD panel, apparently to protect the other two, so I guess I'll stick it on Gumtree and try to claw back something positive from this mess. Not a good experience at all.

Apr 14,2023Just Value Doors ask you to review them by offering you £12 cash back if you do so - all before you receive your order. If you look at all the 5 star reviews you'll see that they are from people saying 'the order process was great, can't wait to receive them!'. Yes, the ordering process was great and the staff were helpful. I placed an order in plenty of time for their recommended timelines and emailed to check if I had enough time etc. There was then a slight adjustment of timings at the start due to Flush UPVC windows taking a bit longer than they originally thought but I was still within time and was told that yes everything should be fine and the suggested delivery date would only change if a delivery van broke down etc. Then a few days before delivery I was told that the windows were delayed by a month. When I complained and said that I had builders renovating my bathroom in a few days I was given the disclaimer of 'we do say you shouldn't plan your builders around us, no guarantees were given' etc. I was told that it was a human error due to a miscalculation of timings about the type of window I had ordered, despite there already having been adjustments made for this. When I finally had the windows and managed to get the builders back, they noticed that the windowsills I'd been sent were too short. I was told by Just Value Doors that had I notified them at the time of delivery they would have been able to fix this for me - unfortunately I was not about to risk booking builders again until I had the windows in hand so this was not possible. We had to live with boarded up windows through winter, pay for the scaffolding to remain in place for another month and then use our old windowsills. After complaining I was given a discount that amounted to less than 2% of the purchase price. I was originally impressed with all the 5 star reviews that Just Value Doors have but if you actually read the reviews of people who have received their order you'll see a lot of stories like mine!

I contacted Jack through the chat since I had questions and he was very helpful and responsive. Product specs and prices from Just Value Doors were good value for money compared to other companies I checked, this is why I placed my order with them.
