Just contacted the Kennel Club pet insurance for advice on making our first claim. The representative Robert Woodcock couldn’t have been more helpful and understanding. He was also very kind and compassionate about our beloved new puppy. We feel that we have made the right decision to take out this important policy.

I can't recommend this insurance company enough. They provide an outstanding service and the support has been first class. Sadly for over a year to the current day I have needed them regularly to help my little one, so I have had let's say a lot of experience. They really try their hardest to make claims go through so quickly raising any queries if there's any straight away to avoid any delays and are always keen to get them resolved, even informing you if there's any delays due to the vet practice satisfying any queries raised. The communication is amazing, at every step you receive updates by email and text message so you always know where you are, but you can also check this on their website which is so easy to use. The claim process is very simply to do on their website for both veterinary practices and owners. They have a fantastic extra service they provide which is through an app they have for around the clock advice from qualified veterinarians, which you can book an appointment for a video or telephone call within less than half an hour during extremely busy times in my own experience. This service has been literally like my guardian angel with such great vets who make everything very easy to comprehend plus explain in detail giving advice which has proved to be better than the numerous vets I had to go through to get my little one the right help, with even follow up notes sent to your email address to refer back with. They have helped my fur baby as well as me not only in some urgent moments of great need but also in guidance to get the right help in-between. All those I have had the pleasure to deal with within the company have been extremely polite, friendly, patient and so helpful which means a lot to me. I feel so reassured and supported by them during some very stressful and upsetting times that I am more grateful to them than I could ever put into words. I have started using another vet practice and after a lot of bad advice from previous vets have been struggling to trust their advice, I was able to check with them to even get that reassurance. When I double checked exactly what I was covered for and to understand things in my policy, they were more than happy to explain things in a way that could be clearly understood and were all so kind to even ask after my little one wishing her well. In my policy which is a lifetime cover I even have had each year cover towards all the prescription food I have had to buy, as my little one has had to unfortunately so far live on only this, which has been a huge help. I have in the past used other insurance companies but from my experience there's not another who can come close.
