Mar 08,2024Avoid using this company in particular for recurring pick ups. We used love to laundry for 18 months. After they over charged us several times and then lost 7 pillow cases I filed a complaint. Over the course of a year they over charged us by £600 by just using a recurring order and not checking what was in the laundry. They offered compensation for the pillow cases which never arrived. After cancelling our service with them AND deleting our card details from their system they then charged our card again. This is a breach of PCI compliance. I gave a detailed break down of their extra charges line by line they promised a response and that was 2 months ago. Sadly I am now going to have to get a lawyer involved to get the money back that they owe me. Just avoid they dont know how to run a business. Update as at April 2024 - they have now resolved this to my satifaction.

Mar 08,2024I approached L2L to remove few blood stains from a duvet (otherwise quite clean), contacting them even before making my order. They answer promptly informing me that they do this type of service, in fact they do their best to remove the stain but when needed they use chemicals. Fair enough, happy with the answer I make my order and send Sarah (from customer support) pictures of the stains with clear instructions. I know blood is difficult, but if treated properly the stain can at least partially be removed or fade away. Duvet is collected and delivered, all stains are still there completely unchanged - this has clearly not been treated at all. My best guess is that it was thrown into a washing machine and dryer, which is of course not going to do anything to the blood stains. Obviously I contact them with pictures of before and after and they are clearly in the position of having to redo the work, which is already quite annoying and time consuming. New collection happens as requested by them on the 4th March. Delivery is confirmed for the 6th between 10:00 and 13:00, but nothing happens, so I decide to call their support where Selmaa tries to convince me delivery was confirmed between 13:00 and 16:00, but when saying I have the correct time in writing she goes 'Oh yeah, the duvet wasn't ready so we had to postpone'. So firstly they didn't' even bother letting me know but most importantly they required to have the duvet 2 days in advance to then wash it the same morning. Do you want to know the result? Stains are of course all still there completely unchanged, I am not even sure the duvet wash rewashed. L2L, great website, great marketing. You now may want to work on your services you are charging people for. If you decide to follow up on my case, please know all you can do at this stage is a full refund. My time is more precious than your incompetence.

They are compensating me 5 times the cleaning price of each product. The total amount doesn’t cover the cost of 1 duvet cover. Using this company has put me out of pocket by £500.
