Luggage Forward picked up our luggage on time and it was waiting in our stateroom when we boarded our cruise ship. The service was perfect.
We couldn’t be happier. We dropped all of our luggage at the UPS store and the next time we saw it was in our cabin in Anchorage. The drop off for home was just as smooth and when we almost missed our connnecting flight home we were very glad we didn’t have to worry about our luggage.

Everything was done on time and when they said it would be.
My luggage was delivered to my home with no damage. That part is great. However, the unsatisfactory part of the experience is two-fold: 1) Delivery too soon: I was still on vacation in Europe when my suitcase was left outside my home. One full week before the agreed to date of delivery. This created a big problem for me, as no one was at my house. From Europe, I had to find someone to go to my home and retrieve the suitcase until I returned home. 2) Communication: I decided to use the services of Luggage Forward shortly before leaving for this trip. There was not enough time for luggage tags to be mailed to me before I left for the trip. The customer service person took all the information, collected payment and told me she would email a link to me with a printable luggage tag and additional instructions snd confirmation. The link to print the luggage tags did not work and I couldn’t reach anyone at Luggage Forward to tell them. I had to leave for the trip without the luggage tag. From London, I called the phone contact for Luggage Forward in London and it was not staffed and I couldn’t leave a message. I then called the US contact number and reached someone who said she would escalate my issue but could or would not give me info to contact that department myself. She referred me to the FAQ of their website and that was of no help. Several days later, I boarded an Oceania cruise ship and asked the concierge for assistance. It took many days but she was eventually able to print the luggage tag for me and confirm final details. Much too stressful for this service.

We spent 5 weeks in Europe this summer--including a 12-day Mediterranean Cruise. Rather than lug our "fancy" clothes around through 4 other countries we opted to send them from home directly to the ship. It was such a convenience! I would definitely recommend this service!
Everything worked as it was supposed to. Very convenient not to have to drag our bigger pieces through the airport. Luggage made it to out stateroom before us and arrived back at home 1 day before our arrival.

The luggage was delivered promptly each way and the ease of shipping was efficient. The only drawback is the high costs of the service.

Your service was adequate and our luggage was delivered as promised, but your fee of almost $400 for this service is positively larcenous! I would definitely use another provider if I had the choice -- but there is no alternative provider, which is of course the reason why Luggage Forward can charge such outrageous fees.

Company picked up and delivered luggage in a timely fashion. They also do a good job of tracking the luggage so you always know where it is

Aug 05,2024Pickup flexibility was very good. Website tracking poor was not updated. Was hen I called for update given bad info. I had tracker on golf clubs info given by rep was incorrect on location of clubs.
