Aug 17,2020I received my new package, I wanted to get a cute pair of shoes! They definitely are more fashion shoes than practical, but that is to be expected. I was worried at first that they wouldnt fit but they are perfect!!!! Completly love this store!!!! ❤❤❤

Aug 15,2020It took 75 days for my order to arrive, despite the 25 day standard shipping estimate. However, the tracking issue was with USPS so I only removed 1 star for that. I also was shipped a small, when I requested a medium (but I did not catch the mistake until it arrived, so that is not lowering their rating). The main issue is the quality of the products. They smartly used iron on patches to save costs, but the backing of the patches was not properly removed from the inside so it is scratchy and flaky. On 1 item, there is an adjustable strap with a feature decorative iron on patch, hastily stitched on two ends to tassels. Alas, they did not iron this on to any fabric, so the backing is exposed and loose. There was also a neck strap meant to be relatively snug, but the sizing was Way off. It is almost as big as the shoulder width hole - could fit 2 necks in there - and is ironically the best sewn part of the outfit. I will be removing it. Additionally, the skirt has a very unique underskirt mesh lining...they stitched it together like shorts. The 2nd item did a great job with the patches, but did not attach them to the shoulder straps. Instead, they cut the elastic short and stitched it to the decoration to complete the strap. It also came with an extra item that made me laugh (thong with an adjustable butt strap haha) but the seems were not stitched together at corners. In a summation: Shipping time massively delayed. Sewing clearly rushed, likely mass produced. Product sold at price of well-made items, but the products are made like cheap costumes. The fashion design ideas are great, but I could get better quality at thrift stores. Disappointing overall.

Aug 02,2020Ordered three tops for my daughter and carefully checked the measurements. When the tops arrived, all three tops were too narrow in the sleeves, otherwise ok. Wanted to return them as my daughter couldn’t wear them, she couldn’t move her arms in them. Modakawa then insisted that I had to pay for the return myself and send the tops back with secure post. This cost me 260 SEK. There was no information on the website that the sleeves would be this narrow and I am upset that Modakawa wouldn’t pay for the return. I didn’t order the wrong size. The tops were badly designed compared to the sizes they should fit. Don’t think it was right for Modakawa not to pay for the return.

Aug 01,2020I ordered my hoodie back in mid May. After one month I decide to email them to ask if it was ready to be shipped. They responded quickly and said that they just ran out of a certain hoodie so they gave me the option to switch the color. I understood that and accepted, but another month later, I hadn’t received anything, not even a notification. I email them again and they said to wait patiently and at that point I got a notification that did it was being departed to LA. So of course I’d be happy, but it’s been 20 days since I got that single notice. I have yet to receive my package and I tried to be lenient in that the whole pandemic thing will slow things down, but I feel like waiting till 3 months for a hoodie is absurd. I am happy that the staff/team is quick in replying to their emails.

Jul 31,2020Order MK#25026 still missing. Bought it thre 3rd of this month, emailed directly Modakawa and it answer me "We send the package, (YOU) contact the shipping agency to look for more information". Obviously the phone number given me is not working so I asked a payback from Paypal.

Jul 28,2020I think Modakawa's a great place to buy cute clothing if you've got some money to spend. It's definitely somewhat pricy, but in my opinion absolutely worth it! I ordered a shirt, one pair of pants and a skirt, which were all extremely adorable and surprisingly good quality (though a few threads were sticking out of the skirt, the strawberry embroidery looked really good). I expected a delay with shipment due to COVID-19 issues and regulations, but surprisingly my package arrived in just about two weeks. Do keep in mind that all the clothes from this store are asian size, so if you're on the taller or bigger side, try and order a couple sizes up wherever possible. Really happy with my purchase, would buy from them again!

I tried contacting several times to ask when it is expected ship (I am okay with waiting, but I just wanted an update or estimated delivery day) and I have not heard back once, other than from an automated reply bot that responded in Japanese. Jul 26,2020I placed order #MK25782 on July 11th, and received a confirmation message that it would ship in 2 to 5 days, and an email would be sent to me. This is July 25th, and I have not heard anything from Modakawa. I sent an email to their service@modakawa address, and received a reply all in Japanese. I tried a translator to see what the email said, but it didn't make sense. And since it came within one minute, I'm sure it was an auto-reply email. Please, I would like to know the status of my order.

Jul 21,2020I have ordered 3 items so far and although the shipping does take quite a while, I think they are worth the wait. The hoodie and t-shirt were of a much better quality than expected and wash well. The other item was a sort of silky cardigan with no buttons, it is cool and comfortable to wear, I even wear it to work. If you look out for the discount codes that they normally advertise on their site you can get a real bargain. I have just ordered another 5 items with confidence that when they do arrive they will be as lovely as my first 3 purchases. Very happy with this company.
