I took my van here in August with a problem for them to look at, I was told it would be three weeks before they could look at it due to being busy, well as it stands it's now nearly November and every week when I ring I'm told they haven't even looked at it and can't give even a rough idea as to when they might, not the kind of service you expect from a main dealer
Doves Horsham have always delivered an exceptional service. I purchased a new vehicle from them 5 years ago and have it serviced by them every year. I’m so pleased that ive just taken out a 3 year servicing agreement with them.
Be very very careful taking your car for any service. I book a recall on the airbag and seat frame on my Mazda which took one month arrange. When drop the car off and got back home (15miles away) I got a call to collect the car that they ordered a wrong part. They rebooked a recall for another week and they called me halfway through the job that they only have some of the parts needed. I had to collect my car again and arrange another appointment. After collecting a car once all the work was completed the central locking would not respond. Told Bolton Motor Park who arranged another appointment ( my car was unlocked for a week) then charged me £109 for diagnostic and they reprogrammed the locking. When tried to complain, they kept saying it was a coincidence and they didn't need to disconnect the battery when doing an airbag recall work (which would have caused the central locking to lose programming). After losing 4 days pay by going back and forward due to their complete disorganisation and then ripping me off for £109 for something they caused I would never recommend going anywhere near these jokers. All of this was discussed with details with the site manager and also the workshop manager who said that his engineer couldn't get into the vehicle one the last day which is a complete fabrication as the car could not physically be lock at all for nearly a week by this point. They did try to fob me off with 50% refund which I refused as I should not have to pay anything for them fixing their own mess.
If I could give no stars I would. Purchased a vehicle from Preston motor parks on the Internet? Beware folks and don’t make the same mistake. Inspect the vehicle thoroughly on collection. I specified I wanted a car in mint condition and was assured that was what I was getting. It had stained faded seats and a botched paint job. I complained an hour after collection and said I wanted to return it but I have been told that I have no statutory rights. Now I will sell at a loss on a car I haven’t driven or started paying for. I am gutted ...don’t make the same mistake! It would be of little cost or inconvenience to them take it back, tidy up the paint job, steam clean the seats and sell to someone else.

Shahnaz was so friendly and really helpful. It was my first car but she made everything really clear so I understood every step of the process. She always got back to me really quickly about any queries and any problems were sorted straight away. I’m a very happy customer!
They just care about taking your money! Windscreen had a chip, large chips of the car doors, scratches and a couple of bumps on the boot. Asked when collecting the car if there was any damage at all as it couldn't be seen due to how dirty it was from the drive on the motorway and was told there wasn't any. Discovered the day after when I had cleaned it that it was not in the perfect condition they stated. When mentioned to them I was blamed for all the damage then told "when someone is in the area we'll send them with a touch up pen," after spending £12000 on a car I'd have thought they'd have been more forthcoming and helpful. Asked about service record and was told to look online, however I cannot find this anywhere and believe that was all a lie too, Peugeot are telling me it has never been serviced!!! Was also told the car had no previous registered owners as it was used as a test drive at a Peugeot garage, turns out after receiving the V5C this morning there are 2 previous owners. I get there trying to sell a car, but honesty is important. I am absolutely disgusted with the way they have lied and manipulated their way through a sale. Absolutely fuming I've had to splash out more money to get their lies fixed.
Nick was the sales guy and throughout he didn't place any pressure on us which I really like. Paul was still a pleasure to deal with too, which is one of the key reasons we return.

Not happy with the service at all, put a deposit down to hold the vehicle for 7 days. Couldn't afford it and for some reason they had the car moved to another garage and I'm going to lose my deposit of £250 to pay for this. Pretty sure this is against the distance selling act. Want my money back 😡

Found the car I wanted on eBay during the lockdown and needed to negotiate a trade in. Discovered the garage was nearly 2 hours away at Bolton, BUT (i) emailed sales manager Steve a load of jpegs of my car,inside and out, carefully drawing attention to small tear in seat / scratch on rear bumper (ii) agree a price (subject to us both cross checking each others cars) (iii) agreed to meet half way and complete the deal at a partnership garage (iv) all went perfectly, no haggling, no concealed problems (v) got home and could not get the bluetooth to work. Damn! Steve assured me I wouldn't have to pay for it if it needed to be repaired and to asked me to keep him posted. Actually it was perfectly ok - I just didn't follow the instructions in the first place!! All this was carried during lockdown when we couldn't even do test drives so it all involved a lot of trust on both sides. It was the best car dealing experience I have ever had in 40 years! Would not hesitate to go back for my next car.
Recently bought a used Vauxhall Mokka from Doves at Southampton. After not purchasing the initial car I went to view, the salesman Craig that I was dealing with, did not hesitate to source another car to my liking. As I wasn't local to Southampton, Craig brought the car to a garage nearer to me. The service from this guy is exceptional, no pressure selling which i have previously experienced. I would not hesitate to use this garage again providing the same sales guy is still working there!!
