Mar 02,2025The whole experience of our move from Brussels area to Edinburgh was well prepared by Movega (Pavel) and went smoothly on the days of collection and delivery. We probably underestimated the number of boxes needed for our own and Movega's packing service, and the van had little space left at the end of loading. Also the local packng agents (who were terrific, very skilled and careful at their job) probably needed a third man to help. The unloading team in Edinburgh were great too, reassembling some items and generally puttting everthing where it should go. The customs team made light of the formalities, which were no problem at all on the day, and helped us to write up our inventory for HMRC approval. Pavel's calm and reassuring voice on the line was a great relief throughout, and the transport team took over during the move itself, calling every hour to check if all was OK from our side. An extra challenge for Movega and us was that the date of the move was changed at short notice by the buyer of our old home, and Pavel managed to find a new date within ten days that worked for us and our buyers. Five stars for the move, our only suggestion would be to have had their local agents (who did the packing) call by well before the move to survey what was to be taken and make a better estimate of the number of boxes needed...

Having never relocated abroad before, we were sceptical of the process, however Pavel and the team were very professional and clear on the process. The collection and delivery went faultless and we couldn’t reccomend them more!

The driver Eryck and the team of packers were efficient and quick - my items all arrived in Italy on time and no damage. The Customs team were great and truly know the ropes in getting through all the requirements to EU borders. Thank you

At times this seemed a bit daunting but Pavel and the team were there to support at all times.on the day of moving they were checking everything was ago and keeping me updated on expected delivery. I couldn't fault the service and I am a contract delivery and transport operations manager. Really recommend these guys. Move was from U.K to Lithuania.

Driver arrived early for pickup as requested, and also delivered early the next day as agreed with him. Helped out a bunch. Very communicative sales team that will check in regularly leading up to the actual move.

I received quotes from lots of different companies and chose them because of the level of service and attentiveness, particularly from Boris. They weren't the cheapest option, but certainly had the best customer service. I recommend paying a little more for peace of mind. Boris and the team then guided me through the process really well, including providing lots of support on documents like the inventory. The collection was smooth - we had a Luton van with plenty of space. My stuff arrived 2 days later with no issues at all. I would thoroughly recommend Movega.

The costs were more favorable compared to other international moving companies, which was a big plus. The team was super friendly and professional. When my move was unexpectedly delayed, the company showed great flexibility. I was able to store my belongings for a few extra months at a reasonable additional cost, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. During delivery, the driver was incredibly kind and helpful. He went above and beyond to get all the items into the house, even in challenging situations due to heavy furniture. Jan 22,2025My experience with Movega for my move from the UK to Italy was so incredibly smooth. My first contact was with Drago who always stuck out to me as the friendliest of all the companies I got quotes from, so he was a big reason I went with Movega, along with a good price for a cross Europe trip in one van. The driver who picked up my stuff was very experienced and managed to pack everything super close and tight so when we unpacked in Italy everything was exactly as it was when we packed it. I had some drawers with glass on the front and they were all completely safe too. Movega's customs team let me know exactly what documents to get for customs into the EU and helped when there were some different documents I needed for my personal situation, which I was really impressed with. I checked Trustpilot before going with Movega and was amazed at how good their ratings were on here but now I see why! Thanks Drago and team, I will get back in touch if we ever need to do a long move again!

Jan 10,2025We recently relocated from UK to Valencia, Spain. I was supported by Boris through the entire process, and am amazed by his patience throughout! I spoke with alot of different removals companies and it raised various questions about the differences between Movega and the others, such as ability to deliver within 2- 3 days vs 5- 6 weeks, the costs, the types of lorries/ vans available. Boris was incredibly patient helping me understand it all, and helping us to understand the weight and capacity. So thank you. Once the (two) luton vans turned up the drivers Rafal and Szymon, were insanely hard working. They are actually machines...they do not stop! They arrived on time and loaded everything into the vans, then delivered on time the other end and again did not stop when unloading. Despite having to run up and down a long driveway due to a low hanging tree (sorry about that!). Amazing service and delivery!! If ever to relocate again would undoubtedly use them again!
