I made enquiries with about 7 different companies, and from the off Boris at Movega was the most responsive and regularly called to check up on our progress and how our packing was going. This kind, friendly approach won them the job- our lives are busy and having someone that was so present from the very beginning made our move so much easier and meant we didn't have to stress. Everything was clear and easy to follow- paperwork and customs clearances to get out belonging over to Italy, weight and size limits etc. Any questions we had were answered within a couple of hours, and the driver that arrived was great- friendly and loaded and unloaded in quick time. The time it took to get to Italy was super quick as well! Everything went without a hitch and we are very happy with the service.

But today we completed a very long move from Finland to Spain, and the experience was nothing less than excellent. The drivers helped a lot, they were very careful, and Movega replied to all our (multiple) questions within 1-2 days. Everything was very satisfactory.

Aug 01,2024From my first tentative contact with Pavel from Movega the whole service was professional and efficient. We moved from one difficult access property in Northern Spain to another difficult access in North Wales. No problem! The drivers of the two vans that transported our belongings were organised, strong and 100% punctual and efficient. How on earth they managed to drives the vans up the narrow road in Wales is beyond belief! All our furniture and belongings arrived intact and with ought any damage whatsoever. Pavel's kindly support throughout from my first contact (a year before the move) to support with the TOR papers etc and general responsiveness were spot on. A truly remarkable 5 star experience.

They were very accommodating to all the changes we had to make and did their very best to make the process simple. Moved items from UK to Croatia in just 2 days and all items arrived without damage. We worked with Dragomir and he was great at his job, great customer service also.

They consistently followed up after we requested a quotation, patiently waiting a couple of months for our confirmation while regularly checking in with us. Their guidance and automation of the paperwork were exceptional, and they offered valuable advice on what and how many items to pack. The driver who helped load and deliver our belongings was fantastic. The final follow-up once everything was delivered was the cherry on top. I cannot recommend this company enough. It's proper old-fashioned service as it should be—focused on the customer experience. 10 out of 10 and great value too.

Jul 19,2024I went for a dedicated service from Birmingham UK,to Near Porto Portugal,I had a decent amount of stuff but not over 1000kg and that's what I paid for. I collected many of my items and I value them,I think I got a good quote for my service that can't fault, I packed my stuff and loaded two the van, the driver did an excellent job, my stuff got to the destination safe and sound. It took only 3 days for delivery after the initial loading day which was perfect for me. Over all a very quick and efficient service. Just beware of the Baggage Certificate, that was the biggest problem for me, make sure you got that sorted before contacting a mover, it can take a while to sort out, (Portuguese Consulate) for example... Happy move😄

He answered all questions promptly and followed up with me on a regular basis pre and post booking and communicated well at every stage of the process. He always answered or returned my calls immediately or soon after. None of the other companies I received quotes from followed up with me in such a professional manner pre-booking and he was one of the main reasons I chose this company. This guy needs a promotion! Vinny and his team were also excellent in taking care of customs and made that whole side of things completely painless! I have to admit I had some worries & doubts but everything went smoothly and arrived on time and in the exact same good condition as they’d been packed. The removals driver who helped us on the day, was polite, courteous, professional, helpful and careful. I can’t recommend this company more highly and I couldn’t be happier with my entire experience with this company and each of their team members.

Jun 26,2024Right from the moment I had first contact with Movega I felt that I was receiving service from a company that cared about it's customers. Some of the quotes I was getting from moving companies were a) crazy expensive and b) really impersonal. Right from the get go Dragomir called me to discuss my needs and how Movega could help/how they operate then forwarded me the quote. I received many emails from customer service and the customs team to make sure I was on top of the paperwork and even had a follow up call from Dragomir about a week before to check in with me. The price we paid for a dedicated service from AMS to GLA was very reasonable imo. Delivered within 48 hours. Clear communication on when the driver would arrive and in fact he was a touch early both times (no issues there). We paid for the move ourselves - rather than being funded by a company relocation package - so we were very cost conscious and did a lot of things ourselves. Movega is no frills (NOT IN SERVICE THOUGH) in that you can opt for more such as packing/unpacking and helping you move things beyond the ground floor and you pay for these as additional extras. Only thing to note is that the 1000kg weight allowance really restricted us with how much we packed. So make sure you talk that through with Movega before committing. Happy to recommend.

Jun 19,2024I hired this company and to take a small move from the UK to Italy at the end of May, the kilos stipulated for a Luton Van is 700 kilos, as my things weighed more than 500 kilos, they applied another £266 and after the van was loaded, they stipulated 2 days after delivery, as I had arranged it for 5 days later and back and forth, I had to pay another £280. In the end I took a loss hiring this company, a money-making machine and everyone playing from one side to the other. Furthermore, the Van driver asked for a tip, on top of my expenses with this company. I was disappointed and Drago was the one I made the arrangements with and took a loss.

However, their estimate was 34% the price of the next estimate and the quality of the service whether it is customer service, transport, customs, it was so professional, so accessible and very, very reassuring! I would recommend them to anyone!

I must admit, that I was slightly sceptical at first because their price was unbeatable - very competitive as I got offers from other removal companies that were thousands of Euros more expensive. Boris was very responsive at any time I had questions (and I had many of them) and helped me choose the right size of truck. The whole process was very easy and transparent. The pick up was on time - as well as the delivery. The driver didn’t have the best English but he was super nice (even made jokes with us) and also helped us loading the truck and securing my belongings. Nothing arrived damaged and I didn’t feel uncomfortable at any time with leaving my things behind. Would highly recommend Movega to anyone who’s seeking a reliable removal company. Thank you!!! :)
