Upon receiving our rucksack for my son, I'd noticed a small blemish on the lions face. I emailed my first year's asking for advice, and Aleksandra came back very quickly with solutions. It was a refund or a replacement, I asked for a replacement and it had been dealt with very professionally and swiftly. Aleksandra and the team dealt with my issue amazingly. We will be back to use my first years.

I ordered a pair of “personalised Eva sandals” for my son. Upon arrival the name on one sandal was completely wonky and did not match the other sandal, it looks awful. I sent photos to support and asked for a refund however they insisted I sent the item back first. I asked what were they going to do with the sandals, it’s not like they could resell them? I told them that I’ll keep the sandals (as awful as they looked they’re still wearable) but my defence was this product should not have been sent this way in the first place, so a refund would have been preferable. Instead of a refund they offered a replacement which I ended up having to accept as they would not refund however I told them I would not be using them again despite being a loyal customer in the past. The replacement was sent, (still not matching on both sandals however not as bad as the first pair sent to me). To add insult to injury, my son wore these sandals for a couple of hours around the house, when I took them off I noticed the name had basically rubbed off. It honestly looked as though it had been written on with biro. Considering they weren’t worn for long I felt this was extremely poor. I messaged support again about this and they offered me a £10 store credit even though I told them I would not be using them again!! I would have been happy with a refund for the original pair and that’s it. A lot of hassle and disappointment.
This is my first order with this company and I am very impressed so far. I had made a mistake on the spelling of my nephews name and contacted My 1st Years straight away. Valerie immediately confirmed that my error had been rectified. The gift has yet to be received but I have no doubt that it will be of good quality, just like the service received so far.
Firstly I have to say that I have ordered a couple of items over the past few months from this company and their products are of excellent quality and the personalisation is lovely. My issue surrounds the customer service. I recently ordered a bag from them and after giving it to my son for his birthday I noticed that the bag had a fault. I emailed into customer service and they quickly agreed the fault and was happy to provide a replacement. Whilst agreeing on the replacement I mentioned that the bag I had previously ordered was now out of stock however they still agreed to an exact replacement so I assumed they had some! They said that I had to return my faulty bag before they would send the replacement out (which is fair) and I did this and provided the proof of return. After sending my faulty bag I was then informed that my replacement was out of stock and I would have to choose another bag of the same value! This was disappointing as I had already asked about the stock of the bag. I got the feeling that the email responses from the agent were templated or pre scripted which made me feel like my concerns were not being read properly or fully. They did agree an alternative bag of the same value and sent this out on express delivery as compensation to which I was thankful and rhe bag again is lovely. Just a bit gutted as I originally ordered my faulty bag as my son is dinosaur mad and I preferred the design! I did ask if they would be getting the original bag back in stock as I would be happy to wait but it seemed a response to this didn't have a template so was not answered at all. The products are lovely and I would order again, it's just a shame that I feel the customer service seems scripted rather than personable. EDIT: I was contacted by the company to address my concerns and was impressed with their willingness to listen to my issues. Shannon has been fantastic in investigating and sorting out this issue. My faith in their customer service has been greatly restored. Thank you.
I ordered a Born in 2024 comforter with no name (not chosen yet) but it arrived blank. I emailed customer services and got an unsatisfactory response, saying that as I hadn't chosen a name, it was not personalised. I pointed out it was a Born in 2024 comforter so should bear those words. I decided to phone and Aleksandra was incredibly helpful, arranging for a replacement to be sent out immediately. I have ordered many items and they are always high quality - the comforter is really soft. Thanks Aleksandra for such good customer service.

I have used My 1st Years a few times. The products are amazing quality and I have never had a problem. I ordered a personalised blanket recently and spelt the name differently to how the recipient was going to spell it..oooops! But I emailed them and they altered it for me. Valerie was more than helpful and very polite. I was very grateful to have this resolved.
Having ordered many items in the past year a little error occurred when something I ordered was misspelt - it was no issue for Aleksandra who I dealt with who assisted me promptly and ensured that a new version of the item with name spelt correctly would be put on their fastest courier service to be delivered! Thank you 😁

Excellent service from Dorota and the team! I had ordered 2 personalised nightgowns for newborn twins. Was very happy with the soft, fluffy material perfect for the newborns skin. The FREE gift box and gift card made for a great touch the new mum loved. 1 of the boxes came damaged and I needed a new 1 ASAP. Dorota was quick to respond to my email and resolved this by sending a new one FREE OF CHARGE. Thank you! Excellent service, will shop again!
