Aug 29,2023Tutor: Dominic L GCSE Maths and A-level Maths Dominic tutored my daughter during her GCSE's after she was disappointed by her year 10 grades in maths. Maths wasn't initially one of her favourite subjects, but because of Dominic and his teaching methods she grew to love maths and achieved a 9 in it and ended up taking it for a-levels where she recently achieved an A in her year 12 mocks. He is extremely patient and is willing to explain answers multiple times if misunderstood, and is very able to explain difficult concepts in a simplified way. He is currently tutoring my son who is going in year 11 and there is a clear improvement in his abilities. I even recommended him to a friend, whose son was struggling with GCSE Maths, and he just recently received a 9 in maths. The work he has done for my kids is incredible and he definitely deserves this award. Thank you!

Aug 29,2023We were looking for a tutor to help our daughter prepare for her science GCSEs. My tutor has a big list of tutors, who are undergraduates or recent graduates, all high achievers in their chosen subjects. Molly taught our daughter weekly for 9 months in the run up to her chemistry and physics GCSEs. Unlike her science classes at school, our daughter really enjoyed her time with Molly and, as a result, her confidence improved massively allowing her to get 2 solid passes in her exams. Thanks Molly!

Aug 29,2023My son’s English Lit tutor, Nandni, really helped him get to grips with what to expect in his GCSE exam, how to answer questions effectively & how to understand what examiners would be looking for to get marks. She also helped him understand the characters he would be questioned on and how to describe them & also how the author wanted the character to be portrayed. Overall Nandni’s help, greatly assisted him in achieving a better grade than he was predicted, so very happy with the tutoring he received and would def recommend her!

Aug 29,2023MyTutor has been excellent for my child, they were predicted around a 4 in maths and after only around four months tuition, she has been awarded a 6 GCSE. The pricing structure is really helpful as are the photos of the tutors. We had an initial meeting to see if there was a rapport and the tutor and my child spoke the same language. If we needed to change dates or times the app was really easy. Would highly recommend

Aug 29,2023Our tutor Luke, tutors both of my daughters for GCSE, and has helped them significantly with their knowledge, skills and confidence. He is reliable and approachable and very professional and he cares a great deal about how the girls succeed in maths. Luke is knowledgable about how to teach maths and up to date on what exam boards are looking for and how to practice and prepare for exams. Thank you to Luke, we highly recommend him.

Aug 29,2023“Nomination for Tutor Awards”: Tabitha has been tutoring my daughter, Geneviève for AS-level psychology biweekly over the last year. Geneviève did Psychology for her IGCSEs and received a B-grade. She enjoyed the subject and wanted to do it at A-level but needs an A to achieve her university aspirations. Since Geneviève follows a distance-learning programme online we thought that tutors for her A-level subjects would be very helpful extra support. From the very first session Tabitha has totally inspired Geneviève - with her organisation, passion for the subject, overall approach and, ability to connect to Geneviève’s needs and learning style. Geneviève has just received her AS level grades and was delighted to earn a high A-grade for Psychology. She is now even more motivated to prepare for her AL exams in November with the ongoing support of Tabitha.

Aug 29,2023Joy was fantastic with Holly and really improved her confidence in this subject. Holly really enjoyed her weekly sessions with Joy who was also able to offer some additional sessions just before the exams as well. The sessions covered the curriculum and also focused on areas that Holly did not feel confident in. Holly achieved a good grade and will be continuing with Joy through her A Levels.
