Aug 26,2023Jemma R is an excellent tutor! She is always supportive and friendly, never making me feel bad if i get something wrong. She helps me to learn to the best of my abilities in a positive way. She is always willing to change or accommodate lessons when needed and is overall amazing.

Aug 26,2023Jem was an excellent tutor, and, over the sessions, I built a confidence with my prior weaknesses in Science (Chemistry and Physics) as well as Maths. His sessions were insightful and he made good use of materials, including: past papers, shadow papers, topic questions. As a result I surpassed my predicted grades, and I am extremely happy with the outcome.

Aug 26,2023My daughter has struggled with maths for the whole of her academic life. Her predicted grade was a 3 for GCSE. We started MyTutor after there was a trial held at her school. We found Tanisha K just over a year ago and booked sessions for help with GCSE Maths. Right from our first meeting Tanisha K was warm and friendly. She inspired confidence in my daughter and over the course of the year my daughter went from being unable to answer questions to actively asking and answering questions. Tanisha K was so patient and kind, she would adjust her planned lessons to cover problems that my daughter was struggling to understand in school and she would send extra questions and work to help my daughter practice and gain experience, just lovely. The results were in on Thursday and my daughter passed with a grade 5! We are so pleased and know that it was down to hard work but also to her amazing tutor who was fantastic in every way, anyone who has Tanisha as their tutor is a very fortunate person indeed!

Aug 26,2023Quick snd easy to use my tutor and they respond quickly and are very helpful. The tutor we had Rach was fantastic and improved my daughters Spanish from a grade 4/5 to a 7 in her GCSE after only a few months of tutoring. Would definitely use them again.

Aug 26,2023I was a little worried about online tutoring initially as I feared my son wouldn't pay attention and would play computer games under the table. But as it was impossible to get a tutor in person to teach Latin we thought we would give it a try as we were desperate. My son was destined to get a Grade 2 in GCSE Latin so we decided on a last minute crash course with Eelan. Amazingly my son seemed to prefer this way of learning and as it was 1 to 1 he had to pay attention. We had around 16 lessons over a 6 week period. Eelan was great and very supportive and often gave extra time, free of charge, to tutor my son. On Thursday we got the news that my son had got a 8 (A ☆) GCSE. We are absolutely thrilled and it was so worth the money spent. I would not hesitate to use Eelan again and recommend both Ealan and MyTutor 100%.

Aug 26,2023My son was at foundation level in Math school since year 10, and I wanted him to get higher in GCSE , to be able to get over C or 4-5 as the maximum he can get in foundation is a C. Thanks to Joshua, he reached his target and got accepted in the school he applied for his A levels. I am so grateful to Joshua’s hard work and dedication with my son and I am so pleased with my son’s results in all other subjects

She provides targets, progress reports, extra notes/resources and more free of charge. My grade has rocketed from a 6 to an 8 within 2 months and - more importantly - my interest in the subject has increased massively. She was extremely helpful and kind and I am very glad I did decide to receive tutoring from her because it 100% payed off and I don’t know if I would have a passed without her. Aug 25,2023Having gone through several different tutor agencies I can only commend MyTutor. They have a wide variety of tutors available and a good system in place to ensure a good fit. A big thank you to Alex who offered lessons to my daughter in physics. He helped build her confidence and her ability to achieve her full potential (achieving a 9 in the subject). We will continue to access these lessons as she moves forward with her A levels. Thank you once again.

Both were extremely patient, knowledgable, and just amazing people in general. I cannot overstate how instrumental the lessons were in increasing my final grade by nearly 2 entire grade boundaries from what I was predicated.

Aug 25,2023We’ve very Rebecca very informative and my daughter’s interaction with the tutor was very good. We introduced the tutor because of the prelims results , The Nat 5 results have now come in which resulted in my Daughter increasing her mark from a D to an B but only 5% short of getting a A. We’re are delighted with the outcome of the results, it has shown the Tutor has been beneficial to our child , and are happy to continue this journey for the next year while she takes her Highers . Would recommend this service

Aug 25,2023Sana C. GCSE Biology. I initially looked for a tutor for my son at the end of Year 10 he was C\D borderline, and we knew he would require a B grade to study at A-Levels. Sana provided weekly well-prepared lessons. Sana evaluated prior subject knowledge to find out where the shortfalls were in learning. Over the weeks by filling in the gaps my son become more confident and began to enjoy the subject. Closer to the exam, techniques were taught with multiple tips on how to answer exam questions correctly to gain the most marks possible. Yesterday my son received his GCSE Biology result of an A grade. Without Sana this result would have not been possible, he is now enrolled to study A-Levels. Sana thank you for all the support you have provided will be forever grateful.
