Aug 22,2023Gerad worked with my daughter for 8 months leading up to her A levels. He was well prepared for lessons, whilst also being very flexible to work on areas my daughter wanted to cover. She liked that Gerad gave an overview of a topic to provide context before moving onto question types and how to tackle them. She gained in both confidence and ability through the lessons and was delighted to get an A* in her final exam!

Aug 22,2023I would like to nominate Saroop who has been teaching Jaya A-Level psychology. Saroop has been an absolute strength for Jaya in all aspects of the word ! She has given Jaya exceptional support , guidance and above all the positive mind set to believe in herself . Saroop would always come highly prepared to each session with past paper exam experiences for Jaya alongside evaluation discussions and ensuring that Jaya achieves the best possible deserving result . We are all so very proud of Jaya and she has been accepted to read Law at Nottingham Trent this September. I will definitely recommend Saroop to my nieces who are about to embark on A level Psychology this year . Let’s just hope Saroop has time on her busy timetable . She is a huge credit to My Tutor I would also like to nominate Nathan who has been tutoring my youngest daughter Maya . He has been a pillar of strength and always so supportive to Maya . She has now started to really enjoy learning maths and science and has become much stronger in her understanding with Maths especially. . Maya is looking forward to resuming her tutoring with Nathan this September .

Aug 22,2023Hassan was such a great tutor, really helped to build my confidence in biology and chemistry. I loved how interactive the lessons were and how easy it was to ask him to go through things when I was struggling. I would definitely recommend Hassan as a tutor as he really helps you understand the content further and go at your own pace.

Claudia was great, she structured the lessons around my daughter’s needs, researched the areas she was struggling with and explained things clearly, also helping with exam technique and question answering. My daughter’s confidence increased so much and she achieved a grade C just 5 marks of a B, with this result along with her others she was formally offer her place at her 1st choice university. Thank you Claudia, for your excellent tutoring and encouragement you gave my daughter. I would recommend Claudia to anyone studying A level Biology.

Aug 22,2023I was tutored by Anjie for A Level Psychology for about 5 months and saw a major improvement in my grades, understanding of the course and my confidence! Anjie started every single lesson by asking how I had found my lessons that week, as well as my other classes and just about my week in general. Any time I was struggling she would offer a lot of really helpful advice and then always checked back in again the following week. It was really lovely having a tutor who is so passionate about teaching and about her student’s mental health. I never felt stupid or embarrassed if I made a mistake or forgot something, as Anjie was really reassuring that it was ok to make mistakes. In my first lesson, we talked about my personal learning style and what works best for me and then Anjie tailored each lesson to that, and to what I felt I needed most work on. Overall I loved working with Anjie and looked forward to every lesson, so would really recommend her to other students (especially if they struggle with confidence!).

Aug 22,2023My Tutor (Ellie) was amazing. I have never seen someone teach the way she does, and it really helped me approach and view my questions differently, which also helped me write better during my exams. I have achieved an A which I am very proud of.

Aug 22,2023Honestly the best part of my experience was my tutor Chloe. She helped me go from basically failing in Biology A-level to getting into my dream university. She really focused on what I individually could do better, and more importantly how i worked best and learnt new information best. She went out of her way to accommodate my learning style; creating detailed and summary notes, getting exam questions, linking videos, and of course tutoring me in our sessions. She was also very understanding, especially if i had to cancel last minute or move a lesson. Definitely a major reason as to why my A-levels worked out well!

Aug 21,2023My tutor has been very easy to use and we were very fortunate to get an AMAZING tutor/teacher in Rowenna.. She helped to build my daughters confidence in both regards to subject matter and in her own abilities.. It has been a very positive experience and one I as a parent would highly recommend..!! Rowenna’s input has been invaluable she showed kindness and went the extra mile to help my daughter to engage in a subject she had taken as A level by default and made it interesting.. Politics was not her first choice and she managed to gain an A in her A level pretty damn good thanks to Rowenna.. We couldn’t be any happier with such a great result.. Thank you Rowenna for being so instrumental in making my daughters A level journey so remarkable for all your dedication time and effort it has been an absolute pleasure getting to know you and you will never be forgotten..! Thank you my tutor for the part you played in securing such a BRILLIANT tutor..😀

Maya was great, she structured the lessons around my son’s needs, researched the areas he was struggling with and explained things clearly, also helping with exam technique and question answering. His confidence increased so much and he achieved a B for his final grade, which he is over the moon with. He feels this is definitely down to Maya, her excellent tutoring and her lovely personality. Aug 21,2023Rachael was and is incredible. Tutoring my girls in A level and GCSE STEM subjects. I booked because the girls asked me for some extra support, they love their lessons and we are now in year 2 tutoring, pure maths for emma and GCSE maths for kate. Rachael has turned my kids from B students to A* students over the course of her tutoring. It is well worth the money for such an incredible result.

Aug 22,2023After a few months my A'Level mock exams grades went from B, then D and finally to an E in Nov 22. I didn't receive this mock grade till jan 23, when finally I agreed with my parents to get help and they suggested mytutor. I interviewed 3 astute tutors and found Preslav. My first lesson was amazing and afterwards I had lots of questions about business in general, PED and YED. Preslav made every lesson exciting, current, used visual aids - elastic bands and also brilliant case studies with further reading. My school tutor just popped up a PPT every lesson :(. I had about 15/16 lesson with Preslav and I enjoyed everyone. After just 3 lessons in my next mock exam results went from a E to a B!! I have just received my A'level results and I got an A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I now read business books in my own time and have a vast interest in the subject. I would highly recommend Preslav. My grade is all due to Preslav's tutoring. Thank you so much. He definitely deserves the award! I wish we could buy him something to say thank you too!!!!!
