James was our delivery driver He was very good and gave me few tips that were great for our skirting boards Deliver was on time, While I paid £20 for fast delivery I would say it would worth it. I had good experience with this guys Would recommend them
Bought skirting boards which should be primed, paid a quite big amount of money for the priming option and all boards/skirting were primed on DUST, now I need to sand every skirting which is near 60 meters and prime again.

Horrible customer service in terms of response. Tried calling and was told I was first in queue for over 15 minutes no answer. Just the annoying announcement and music
Appalling service. I submitted an order on March 3rd and still waiting for the skirting board to be delivered. They said it's due on March 31st but we'll see. They slowed down all works in my house, disgusting, never again
Customer service is outstanding! They were quick to respond to my email and resolve my issue. I ordered the wrong skirting thickness and they swapped it over same day and rather than issuing it as a new order they still delivered it on the day which my original order was placed. Had a lovely lady named Lauren who helped me - big thanks to her! Quality of skirting is amazing for the price. Easy to cut and install. Will definitely use them again for the rest of the house.
Ordered £360 of skirting and the payment has been taken but the company have cancelled my order but not refunded the money. I have called the number and been told I am first in the queue several times but only got through once and left a message - no reply as yet. 4/3/25 - response received advised that the backofffice had cancelled the order. I've requested a refund and will update the review with the outcome
looking at the reviews, its clear this company is a total scam, can not get through to anyone!
I am still waiting for my skirting delivery. It's been 15 days since I ordered. Only got my order invoice on the day. I cannot get through to the company. They say I am first in the queue on the phone, then say I need to leave a message. Something is not right here. I paid by direct debit and should have used the visa as it would have been covered. I have sent an email saying I will go to the small claims if not sorted.
No major problems with delivery but quality of priming and surface condition was very poor. Large areas unprimed especially on the upper, moulded parts. also large areas were 'lumpy'. I sent pictures to them but was told that a light sand was all that was required. I didn't take it any further because i had already cut the boarding to length (my fault). It has taken me longer to prepare and paint them than to cut and fit them. Very poor quality control. Very disappointed

Fraudulent - ordered and paid for 2 samples which never arrived despite me chasing several times, and assurances from company that these were on the way. Each delivery timeline I was given has been and gone. They’ve stolen my money so I’ll be submitting a chargeback claim to my credit card. Avoid!
Advised at 7am, that our delivery which was due at 8am would not be arriving today (Wednesday) and has been rescheduled for next Monday. I have a carpenter booked for this weekend & paid for quick delivery. They are refunding the delivery fee but could not offer any other solution. I have read similar reviews on google, so my advice is be very wary of this company & do not book any trades until your delivery is received even if you get a delivery advice note, a text message & an email saying when your delivery will arrive.
Really disappointed. We received a text the night before expected delivery with the delivery time between 4pm-6pm. Received a call from the driver at 5.15pm to say he would be with us in around 40 minutes, then received another call at 5.40pm to say he wouldn’t be able to make it due to an accident and that delivery would be rearranged for within 7 days. I emailed the company to ask if our order could be delivered within the next few days as we have paid a deposit for a decorator to come on Monday (5 days after the expected delivery date) and need the skirting and architrave to be fitted ready for him coming to decorate the room. They told us there was nothing they could do and they couldn’t deliver it on time. We’ve lost out on money and the progress of our renovation is delayed. We understand that things happen and I really hope your driver is okay however I had hoped there would be some flexibility with the delivery in terms of customer satisfaction. The excuse that there isn’t a driver scheduled in our area isn’t good enough. The customer service comes across quite rude and offered no support or flexibility. We weren’t offered any sort of compensation or discount and were basically just palmed off. Will not be using this company again and would advise against them.
I ordered £440 worth of skirting boards from this company, opting for the primed version to save myself the hassle of priming and painting them myself. This decision added around £100 to my total. Although they delivered within the expected time frame, the quality of the boards was disappointing. In some areas, there was little to no primer applied, while in others, there was too much. It was also evident that the boards had been stacked together while the primer was still wet, causing them to stick. When I contacted customer service, they refused to refund the priming cost and instead offered to replace the boards. After reading other reviews and seeing that this company consistently delivers goods with the same low-quality imperfections, I decided to sand and repaint the boards myself and leave this review. I'm very disappointed that the goods were not delivered as promised. I will not do business with them again and recommend others look elsewhere for similar products.
Many thanks and well done to all at national skirting. Your website is very clear and easy to use. Telephone calls are answered promptly, politely and offer great help. Prefers were adapted but it was all handled effectively. All orders arrived on time and complete. Even after additional items were added- it never seemed to be any trouble. I can recommend the bullnose skirting and the herringbone flooring. Delivery was great and we are incredibly happy with the flooring and very grateful for your help. The flooring really does look fantastic!
Curb-side delivery is all they do. If you live in a flat do not expect any help carrying 4m planks up the stairs. Delivery did not come at the scheduled time but thankfully I was in. Had we not been the skirting would have been at the curb. Expecting customers to carry skirting to their door, up 4 flights of stairs, by themselves is a joke. I should have read the reviews for this company before ordering. Please make this more evident on your website that you offer no help from the curb-side to your home and may leave the package by itself if you’re not in when they show up. You should use a legitimate delivery company.
Ordered skirting boards, all arrived in perfect condition within the delivery time-frame quoted on the website. Delivery was via a National skirting van which is probably why the 4.2m boards arrived in perfect condition and the cheery and helpful delivery driver helped carry them into the house. 10/10 for service and value for money, will use again.
Bad enough waiting 3 weeks but they were the only company that sold panelling in individual strips. I only ordered 7 strips but when they arrived 1 was the wrong dimensions. I now have to try and find somewhere to buy just one strip. I should have looked at these reviews first. Use this company at your own risk.

May 01,2025The pine architrave I purchased was poorly manufactured with irregular sizes and other manufacturing faults, there appears to have been a nick in the cutting tool used as there was a bump in the rounded surface. Customer service was helpful and offered a replacement if the original was returned to them. My score reflects the lack of quality control.
