We have 5 smoke or heat alarms made by Fireangel. At 0315am on Wed 23 April 2025, we were woken by one of the smoke alarms, number ST622. We pressed the button on the alarm, and this silenced it, but only for 10 mins. We struggled with trying to silence it until 0430 am, on and off its baseplate, and then just removed it from its baseplate and put it in the conservatory, covered by 5 cushions. Most of the day was wasted studying the instructions in detail, trying to find how to silence it. We noted that the help phone number would close at 5pm, so about 4:30pm, we phoned Fireangel. Phoning is not easy because the alarm is in the name of the husband (myself), but he is very deaf, so the wife has to receive the advice and pass it on. We were dealt with by Carol, and she was able to deal with that situation very well. We took her advice to Hoover the alarm, but this did not solve the problem. By then it was about 5.00 pm, and we were worried that Carol might have gone off duty, but she was still there when we phoned back, and was very helpful in prompting us to open up the alarm and cut the wires, so that the noise ceased. This alarm is in fact surplus to the legal requirements for alarms, so we do not intend to replace it.
I'll be honest, at 2am and 3am this morning when our smoke alarm activated for no reason (!), I wasn't the biggest FireAngel fan! BUT, it would be unfair to blame the company for a smoke alarm, which after 5 years, activates incorrectly. What impressed me massively about my 1 call this morning, then email later today (Sam & Ravi) - was the speed and ease in which a replacement has been issued. Already in the post, no quibbling, no messing... THIS is how you earn loyalty from a customer. Thanks Sam & Ravi for being so prompt and efficient in helping me, and let's hope the only mid-night wake ups moving forward are the kids!!!
My claim was passed on a couple of times.( failed smokedetector at 2 years after purchase Nikitta solved our problem immediately by sending me a new unit under warranty Unit received and installed , complete system ( set of 9) working fine again!
Sam was very helpful and dealt with my query very promptly and professionally.
Call answered by Carol very promptly. All sorted within minutes in a very friendly and efficient manner. Alarm going off randomly and I was unable to fix the problem. Carol ordered a free replacement. Would recommend this company without hesitation.

A great response from Fire Angel after we contacted them about a smoke alarm that had developed a fault. They were very helpful & quickly resolved the issue by ordering us a new one - all on the same day. Cannot remember receiving this level of service for such a long time. Thank you Fire Angel!
I was fortunate that the FireAngel customer service agent who took my call turned out to be a pleasant and knowledgeable lady who helped to partially resolve my smoke alarm problem. Unfortunately i have a faulty smoke alarm unit, still under warranty, but cannot be exchanged as i don't have the original proof of purchase because the builder of our new build home buys them in bulk and the builder therefore has the warranty.
I phoned customer service to ask for help as our smoke alarms kept giving a false alarm. Sam was most helpful in explaining what to do and sending an email to explain and a link to a Youtube video.
Good customer service - this time - I was ignored last time. I have been having repeat issues since April 2024 with false alarms from the SW1 & CW1 mains wired alarms (a common issue reported on several online forums which I wish I had read before purchasing) which have all been installed & maintained as per the install guidelines. In 2024 after cleaning & testing & narrowing the issues down to an SW1 alarm that was causing issues & removed from the system & a CW1 that had been draining the back up battery but Fireangel would not replace & suggested it was everything but the alarms fault? So after several long phone calls I just gave up as it was getting to be be too much hassle. After almost a year of no issues but albeit reduced capacity alarm system, the false alarms started again & renewed my energy to resolve the situation with Fire Angel customer service who promplty offered to replace the most recent failing alarm & last years culprits. So I am happy with the customer sevice this time but its been 50/50 which is not good over all - & I would not reccomend the SW1 or CW1 HW1 hardired mains alarms & they have been unreliable for me - 3 out of 11 so far have neded to be replaced in under 2 years. I dont trust the Fire alarm system & thats not ideal. Also the guidelines require that the alarms are cleaned every 6 months by disconnecting the alarm & using a hoover or a hair dryer on cold to suck/blow air through the unit for around 5 mins to clean it which I find high maintenance. I would recommend Aico Alarms as I have them installed in a rental property & they have been falwless & maintenance free aside from changing back up batteries.

Our smoke alarm started to sound regularly for no reason. I contacted Fireangel via there online contact form telling them my problem. Within 5 minutes Sophia from Fireangel had replied to me, and is sending a replacement smoke alarm. Outstanding customer service, and the quickest resolution I think I've ever had via online contact forms. Thank you.
